Goa white sand beaches. All beaches and resorts of South Goa, India: our review, photo, description

32. beach grandmother's hole

Deserted beach near the port of Mormugao and the city of Vasco.

31. beach Byna

Dirty beach, local red light district (which they tried to destroy, but failed).

The beach is not prepared for tourists, and simply does not deserve a visit

And he's terribly dirty and scary

30. beach Velsao

Not a very popular beach overlooking a chemical fertilizer factory.

You won’t be able to rest here, there is only one hotel, and that, to put it mildly, is rather weak

Don't let the view of the fertilizer plant scare you - the beach itself is clean and interesting. You can come here for exploration.

Normal hotels on this beach: Holiday beach Resort by Adore

29. beach Canaguinim

Clean and beautiful, but without any entertainment, hotels, and reasons to go here.

28. Beach Lovers

A secluded beach without cafes and hotels, popular with locals and tourists as a place for walking in love

You can also go for a walk here, especially with nearby beaches

27. beach Cabo De Rama

Wild beach without hotels and infrastructure.

26. beach Kakolem

The most inaccessible beach, what is called "secret".

The beach itself is average, but the nature around is gorgeous.

Worth the trip if you decide to explore the beaches of South Goa.

25. beach Butterfly

Uninhabited microbeach between Agonda and Palolem.

Another very secluded beach in South Goa. Definitely recommend to lovers of quiet beautiful beaches

24. beach field

Incredibly empty, incredibly picturesque beach of South Goa. last beach Goa in the south!

A beach for super original travelers who can later say at home - we were on the southernmost beach of Goa, lived in a resort for 300 rubles a day, and got tired of thinking about what to do

23. beach Hansa

Beautiful, clean beach guarded by the military. It is difficult to get here, there are no hotels and cafes, but it is worth a visit.

You won’t be able to relax here, there is no infrastructure for obvious reasons - the beach is located in a protected area

But it's worth trying to get here - this is an interesting adventure with a good beach and bonus planes

22. beach Hollant

Rocky but pretty beach south of Bogmalo.

Clean, small beach.

Stones and the lack of specific ideas of what to do here prevent it from being called excellent.

It is worth coming here as part of a detour of all the beaches of Goa for a couple - three hours.

The only decent hotel on the beach Devasthali

21. beach Consua

A very secluded beach, unexplored by tourists, without hotels and cafes. You can drop in to check as part of the study of South Goa.

If you have money, you can relax at the Alilla Diwa hotel - it is right on this beach, and in fact the entire beach belongs only to the guests of this hotel. It is more interesting to go to this hotel on a tour -. The hotel is worth the money.

20. beach Cooking

A popular and huge beach about 10 kilometers long.

big beach quite deserted. But at the same time, there is a categorical lack of quality hotels at adequate prices.

Beautiful, but there is no zest in it, why you should choose it.

In principle, you can choose South Goa as a base for exploring South Goa if you value peace and quiet first of all.

19. beach Betul

Hard-to-reach, clean, calm beach of South Goa.

It is worth visiting just for the sake of sports interest, if you decide to go around all the beaches of Goa.

Nice hotel on this beach Mayfair Hideaway, it is also more interesting to go on a tour than on your own, it will come out around.

18. beach Cola

Quiet beach in South Goa clear sea, a small number of hotels and entertainment.

But this is clearly not enough to choose it for recreation.

17. beach Darwal

Traditionally for South Goa, the beach is deserted, without much entertainment.

But at the same time, the beach is quite beautiful, somewhat reminiscent of the beaches of Thailand.

16. beach Galjibag

Virgin olive turtle beach

Three niks and zero hotels

Turtles bonus

There are only two hotels near the beach - Casa Galgibaga and La Mangrove

15. beach Cansaulim

The beach is suitable for those who are looking for silence, solitude, and at the same time want to stand out with their choice - to go where others do not go

In principle, you can go here if you catch good prices at Heritage Village Hotel

14. beach Arossim

Calm white sand beach, north of Utorda Beach

The beach is suitable for a secluded holiday, in peace, silence, and at the Park Hyatt Goa. As usual, check - sometimes it turns out cheaper than on your own.

13. beach Rajbag

Quiet and beautiful beach at The LaLiT Golf & Spa Resort Goa.

The monopoly of a five-star resort - which means high prices for everything

The hotel itself is probably not a bad option, given that it is 5 stars, it has excellent reviews on TripAdvisor, and it is about

12. beach Utorda

Respectable, calm and beautiful beach of South Goa.

Nice beach, beautiful and calm sea

Small, secluded, rustic

11. beach Mobor

One of the popular beaches of South Goa, a noisy continuation of Cavelossim beach.

A good beach, but unfortunately not at all budget.

To stay here in relative comfort, you will have to choose one of two fairly expensive hotels. We recommend Holiday Inn Resort, cheaper than booking on your own

10. beach Bogmalo

Quiet and calm beach near Dabolim Airport.

You can choose this beach if you love Goa but don't like noise, love nature but don't like to travel too far

The beach is quite small, about 600 meters, quiet and calm.

An absolute plus is the proximity to everything, but at the same time no one bothers to relax.

9. beach Betalbatim

One of the cleanest beaches in South Goa, with a slightly more developed infrastructure, recommended for visiting.

Something between absolutely wild and incredibly touristy beach.

Secluded and clean and accessible and more or less developed at the same time

For hotels, check out Jasminn by Mango Hotels

8. beach Zalor

Nice clean beach.

In general, only inflated prices for hotels interfere with it, although there is a good guesthouse with great reviews and a price of about 1000 rubles per day and apartment houses for 500-800 rubles. Most famous hotel- of course . We have compiled a selection of all

7. beach Cavelossim

The price-quality ratio when choosing hotels is worse than on other Goa beaches - you really have to overpay for a good hotel

As in all Goa, not so big entertainment as you would like.

6. beach Putnam

Local residents communicate decorously and nobly, without imposing services and showing enviable politeness. Only recently in Russia there was a rumor about the charms of these places, and "Subtleties" is pleased to present you with five pearls beloved by tourists beach holiday in South Goa.

5. Majorda

Accommodation here is quite budgetary (in bungalows and guesthouses), and rooms in comfortable hotels are in short supply, they are snapped up very quickly. Attractions are 40 km away - in Papaji and Old Goa. And 50 km away is the Dudsagar waterfall, which can be reached by taxi for 1300 INR round trip.

Getting to Benaulim is easy: take a taxi from the airport. The rate is fixed - 900-1200 INR.

3. Colva

Colva is a more lively place, the village is located 10 km from a large population center - Margao. This most popular resort in South Goa has a fairly developed infrastructure: good hotels, restaurants, shops and lots of beach activities. Here, unlike neighboring beaches, life is in full swing until night. In the evenings people walk around main street- Colva Beach Road, entering bars and shops. Many tattoo parlors offer their services, but the quality of work, according to reviews, is not at the highest level.

A prepaid taxi from the airport costs between 800-1100 INR.

2. Palolem

According to Forbes magazine, paradise beach Palolem is in the top 10 best in the world. It's quiet beautiful place in the very south of Goa, it is loved by both Indians and visitors: here beautiful nature, wide and long coastline with white sand, crystal clear and calm water. There are many water activities on the beach, and restaurants and bars with free sunbeds for visitors are scattered along the shore.

In the evening, you can walk along the shopping street with souvenirs and dance in local disco clubs. Complete silence reigns in one of the discos: everyone dances in their own rhythm to the selected sound track, which sounds in personal headphones.

A taxi from the airport will cost from 500 to 2200 INR depending on the class of the car. The price is fixed, no bargaining.

1. Agonda

Agonda is also one of the best beaches planets according to TripAdvisor, BBC and several other publications. It stretched for 3 km along beautiful bay framed by gentle hills and palm groves. This is a calm and secluded place, it is safe here, however, you should swim in permitted places to avoid undercurrents.

The coastline is 2.5 km long and about 50 m wide, with golden sand. The entrance to the sea is gentle, the water is clean, the bottom is flat, without stones, only a few huge boulders rise. There are waves here, but calm bays can be found for swimming. The beach is full of eateries. You can stay in a house, bungalow or hotel.

If you are going to Goa for the sea and beaches, do not miss this article. I will tell you about all the beaches of North Goa, share their characteristics, location on the map, personal photos and videos and my opinion about each beach, if you are interested. The opinion is subjective. Goa is different for everyone.

12 beaches of North Goa - review, photo, video

Kerim Beach - the northernmost beach

There are no palm trees on Kerim Beach. Coniferous trees grow there, which create an unusual mystical landscape on the beach. Plus sparsely populated, light sand and green deep sea. Kerim Beach is mesmerizing. Only a complete introvert and a desperate lover of solitude and peace can stay there for a long time.

There are a couple of cafes on Kerim Beach, it is easy to find guest houses nearby. For shopping and entertainment, it is better to go to neighboring Arambol.

The sea on Kerim is beautiful, but dangerous. Waves often, depth starts immediately. Not the most the best place for holidays with young children.

Kalacha Beach - Beach of the Beatles and Sweet Lake

Kalacha Beach is famous for its Sweet Lake, unusual landscape, large stones in the sea and a banyan tree under which the Beatles smoked and meditated. There are serious doubts about the latter fact. But the rest is all right. And the landscape, and the lake, and beauty.

On the beach there is a cafe, several bungalows and a small market.

The sea is different - when there are big waves, and when - quiet and smooth.

Arambol - a beach of yogis, enlightened and found themselves

The most controversial beach in North Goa is Arambol. The first time I came to Goa, I fell in love with Arambol. AT last time he disappointed me.

As for the beach and the sea itself, Arambol is unusually beautiful. A long and wide sandy beach, a long entry into the sea, the blue color of the water merging with the sky - it takes your breath away.

The village of Arambol has many shops, guest houses, hotels, cafes and restaurants. Prices for everything are higher than the average for North Goa.

Arambol is good for families with children - the sea is so beautiful, there is infrastructure, parties of mothers with babies and even sour cream in stores.

Arambol is good for those who like to go into the astral plane with the help of special means. It's easy to find a hangout and everything else.

Arambol is good for creative people, for yogis, for those who are looking for themselves.

Mandrem - the beach of glamorous scum

Mandrem goes after Arambol. The same sea and the same beach line. Real hotels and show-off restaurants have been built in Mandrem. You can even meet people in white pants and hats there.

Prices in Mandrem are not lower than in Arambol. Many Russians. Few European pensioners. Quiet, calm, imposing.

Ashvem - the most beautiful beach in North Goa

It is impossible to describe in words why Ashvem is better than neighboring beaches. But it is definitely different from the rest of the North Goa beaches. Either the air there is different, or the wind, or the current brings mysticism and the desire to fly. There are few shacks and bungalows on the beach itself. And this is probably why the slightly deserted beach of Ashvem is fascinating.

My favorite place in North Goa by far.

Morjim - the most pontoon and expensive beach

The Russian village and all that. There, the cult director Pyotr Buslov came up with the idea to make the film “Motherland” about Russians in Goa. Buslov lived in Goa, in Morjim for several seasons, so he studied the theme of the film perfectly.

The sea in Morjim is like in Arambol. Lots of party places, lots of guest houses and lots of Russians.

Vagator - the beach of Shiva and sacred cows

The second beach in my personal top of North Goa beaches. Moreover, Vagator and Ashvem are almost on the same level. Although externally the beaches are different.

Black stones scattered in disorder along the beach create a fantastic landscape. Cows love this place too. And on Vagator, be sure to find the famous face of Shiva.

Anjuna - the beach of the last hippies

Anjuna is a favorite place for party-goers, young and old. The famous market days take place here, when the Flea Market is open on Wednesdays. Here, by the sea, songs ring from coastal cafes, here they break away and forget all the sorrows and hardships of the cold homeland.

I don't like the sea in Anjuna - a lot of stones, some kind of algae. But you can find a place to swim if you wish.

Baga is the most civilized beach in North Goa

Baga is a village for glamorous vacationers, lovers of nightclubs and expensive cafes. Prices are the highest in all of North Goa.

The beach is different from the beaches of Arambol or Mandrem. The sand here is yellow, the sea is deep. In Baga, on one side of the beach, there is a cape and a river along the cape. Thanks to this cape, big waves almost none in Bug. Swimming is comfortable and fun, even when there are huge waves in neighboring Calangute and Candolim.

Calangute is the most visited beach in North Goa

Calangute never sleeps! It's fun, partyy and relaxed at the same time. This is the favorite beach of European pensioners. There are enough of our bags here too. Among independent tourists Calangute is not particularly honored.

Calangute has the most shops, supermarkets, cafes, expensive hotels and cheap guest houses.

The sea is deep almost immediately, the sand on the beach is yellow and loose.

Candolim - the most convenient beach

Candolim is similar to Calangute. The same beach line, the same sea, the same guest houses, the same pensioners. There are no problems in choosing accommodation, with renting a bike, with local street food, with pizza or a burger, with Tibetan cuisine, with pharmacies. Internet in Candolim and Calangute is the best among all places in North Goa.

Sinkerim - a beach with history

Which beach in North Goa is suitable for families with children

  1. Arambol
  2. Candolim
  3. Morjim
  4. Mandrem

Because a good safe beach, shallow sea, there are shops with the usual products and cafes with a Russian menu. It is easy to find friends for yourself and your child.

Which beach in North Goa should an organized tourist stay on?

  1. Vagator
  2. Calangute
  3. Candolim

Because there are many tour agencies, supermarkets, pharmacies, taxis, restaurants, casinos and decent hotels.

And the last thing - even if you stopped for the entire vacation on one beach, take a ride on the rest of the beaches of North Goa. This is the only way to find your beach and your favorite place.

You can book a hotel in Goa both on the spot and on the Internet. Booking is full of hotels and guesthouses.

Flights to Goa

And if you have not yet decided on tickets to Goa, look in the table for the cheapest fares for regular flights in Goa.

Patnam is a beautiful sandy beach located in the south of India. Goa. The beach is particularly beautiful and secluded, and the absence of wind and strong waves makes it a great place to relax with children.

Putnam is considered the most isolated and quiet beach South Goa - it is located in a secluded bay and is famous for its not crowded. The sea in the Patnam area is very calm, and this beach is suitable for families like no other. Right on the sand, there are small thatched-roof bungalows that are rented out for next to nothing. Also on the beach there are many restaurants where you can refresh or have a bite to eat. Golden sand and immutable palm trees complete the overall picture of this paradise.

In general, Putnam Beach is popular among a more mature category of vacationers - there is no special entertainment provided here, and young people can get bored. However, those vacationers who value comfort and silence most of all will definitely like Putnam.

Tiracol beach

Tiracol Beach is located in the north of the state of Goa, in India. Here you will not meet a busy crowd of tourists and you will not see intrusive traders, since Tiracol is the most deserted and remote beach in the state.

The beach consists of small shell rock, and nearby is the medieval fort of the same name, which today has been converted into a small hotel "Heritage", but, nevertheless, is open to the public. In the courtyard of the hotel stands the church of St. Anthony.

If you are tired of the noisy rhythm of the metropolis, want to retire and sunbathe with your loved ones or just be alone with yourself, then a holiday on Tiracol beach is what you are looking for.

Colva beach

Colva beach is the oldest and developed center tourist holiday in South Goa. It is located 8 kilometers from Margao.

This beach is one of the favorite places for fishermen, so on the beach you can see many fishing huts and even colonial-style villas. And during the holidays and weekends, the beach is filled with Margao locals to escape the summer heat.

This paradise on earth is not only perfect place for swimming, as the waves here are small, but also the center of parties that take place right on the shore. This place will appeal to those who love a serene beach holiday during the day and lead an active nightlife.

Anjuna beach

The beach in Anjuna is a series of coastal cafes, standing on stilts or descending in terraces to the sea, with endless music and colorful characters.

Anjune is famous for its "full moon parties", famous nightclubs "Dolce Vita" and "Paradise", trance parties Hill Top, Full-moon Night Party, Shiva Valley (Anjune is the capital of Goa trance), excellent beach, crazy energy of freedom and, Definitely the Anjuna Market flea market.

Every Wednesday, the bazaar hosts a real carnival of colors. Traders from all over India flock here to offer handcrafted Tibetan, Kashmiri and Gujarati trinkets, silverware, European snacks, Goan trance cassettes, photographic elephants to the discerning tourist's eye. In a word, it is easier to say what they cannot offer, but even this is rather difficult.

You need to end the day in the famous Shore Bar, where they see off the sun in the evenings.

Palolem beach

Palolem beach is the most popular beach Indian island Goa. The beach is located on south coast island and enjoys the increased attention of all vacationers.

Palolem beach is the real one tropical paradise, as it is depicted on postcards or in commercials. Clean White sand, an abundance of palm trees, a picturesque bay, and very close to the coast - a small uninhabited island. There are no hotels nearby and no buildings at all, so the beach has a very cozy atmosphere. If you want to settle closer to the sea, then small bungalows located in a palm grove are at the service of vacationers.

Palolem Beach is quite small - its coastline stretches for only two kilometers. But at the same time, it is never too crowded here. The sea is very warm and calm, you can easily see dolphins in it, which swim almost close to the shore. It offers vacationers a variety of sea excursions, diving and many other beach activities.

In general, Palolem beach - perfect place for a relaxing holiday. This is one of the best resorts India, and even in beauty it is generally difficult to compete with him.

Wainguinim beach

Wainguinim Beach is known for its sparkling turquoise waters. Thanks to the bays, there are practically no waves here. The beach is sandy, without stones. Very suitable for families with children. There are usually a lot of vacationers here, but on such a wide beach it is not felt at all, and absolutely does not prevent it from remaining picturesque, cozy and calm. It is for this that he is appreciated by both representatives of the older generation and young people. Vacationers can enjoy water sports here, including diving, play beach volleyball or simply hide from the midday sun in one of the beach huts, remembering to bring refreshing drinks with them.

Wainguinim Beach is also well known for its cuisine. This beach has several restaurants where you can taste exotic seafood and meat dishes. Here are several the best hotels and resorts in Goa. The beach has good transport connection with the rest of the state.

Vagator beach

Not far from Anjuna, in northern Goa, there is a pretty resort - Vagator. It is popular, first of all, among people who love dance music. Not crowded beaches, cliffs that descend directly to the sea, huge palm trees and beautiful landscapes - this is what makes Vagator one of the most beautiful places on the northern coast. A somewhat underdeveloped infrastructure avoids the disadvantages of more popular resorts but provides everything you need for a relaxing holiday. Here you will find guest houses and hotels, restaurants located on the shore, as well as some cultural attractions.

Among fans of holidays in Goa, Vagator is in great demand because of its beaches, despite the fact that the sand on them is dark in color, and stones are found both under water and on the beach. It consists of three beaches: Big, Medium and Small.

The Big Vagator is located right under the ramparts of Chapora Fort. This beach is quite wide, the sand is white and the views are amazing. Buses with excursions come here quite often (usually at lunchtime). A small beach surrounded by rocks is Sredny Vagator, famous for being located at the top popular place Disco Valley parties.

Small Vagator is the most popular among vacationers, it is closed by a rock overgrown with palm trees, and next to it there are nice restaurants and hotels.

Baga Beach

Baga Beach is located in North Goa, 9 km from Mapuza and 16 km from Panaji, the state capital. The beach is bordered by Calangute Beach in the south, and in the north the river separates it from Anjuna Beach.

Here you will find everything from water activities (banana, parachute, scooter) to gourmet restaurants. Many people come here to fish. The beach is famous for its nightlife. Here is one of the most famous dance floors in Goa, the club Titos (Tito "). Entrance for women is free, but men and couples will have to pay. It's amazing a large number of cafes, bars, restaurants with open verandas, offering a wide range of various dishes, for coffee connoisseurs here will prepare a real "espresso". The quality of the writing is excellent and the prices are reasonable.

The main advantage of this place for families with children is the Baga River, in the waters of which the kids love to swim. At the place where the river flows into the sea, there are beautiful black stones, around which the water is constantly "boiling".

Not far from Baga beach are healing springs Mottant.

Galgibag beach in South Goa

Galgibaga is one of the most remote resorts on the south coast of Goa. The beach bears the same name with the river flowing in this area, and is a secluded paradise, hidden in a green bay, and washed by the waves of the Arabian Sea. The beach itself, stretching for one and a half kilometers, lies between the Galdzhibag and Talpon rivers - this location makes it inaccessible and very quiet, almost deserted.

City beach in Calangute

Calangute is part of a single beach line from Sinkerim to Baga, and in terms of its tourist and historical status, it is the center of North Goa.

Modern Calangute is the largest, most commercialized, and most popular beach in Goa, known for its vibrant "night" life.

Market in Calangute

Almost everything is at the service of vacationers here - from a wide variety of types of water activities, musical cafe-bars and discos, in which loud music plays and people have fun, a variety of restaurants with the widest choice of dishes and cuisines, a whole scattering noteworthy shops and shops, and to a wide variety of traditional and non-traditional medicines and massages. A great many guesthouses and hotels of various categories have been built in the surrounding areas.

Morjim beach

Morjim Beach is a three-kilometer sandy coast with airy restaurants from palm leaves, soft sea, gentle wind, hot sun and absolutely crazy night parties in their scope and energy. Morjim beach is especially popular among Russian tourists - in fact, it is a "Russian" beach.

Morjim is the perfect place for active rest. Windsurfing and kiting are popular here. Especially for Russian tourists there are two restaurants - "Glavfish" and "Tchaikovsky".

In the southern part, where the Chapora flows into the sea, there is a very attractive place - the turtle beach, Turtle Beach. In Morjim, everyone says that large olive turtles come here from October to March to lay their eggs. That is why Morjim is declared a state reserve and is strictly protected by the state. Morjim Beach is also famous for the locals catching fish here with nets, drying them and selling them as fertilizer for palm trees.

Cavelossim beach

Cavelossim Beach is the cleanest and most serene beach in all of Goa, with soft white sand near black rocks and all the amenities for tourists.

Cavelossim Beach is located south of Benaulim, 12 kilometers from the city, in South Goa. Its bewitching nature along the shores of the Arabian Sea and the Sal River attracts many people. Active water sports, boating, trips to local markets for souvenirs, visits to Indian artisan shops - all this is received in full by vacationers in this place. People come to Cavelossim Beach for its amazing beauty, the relaxing effect of the quiet sea waves and the opportunity to enjoy the calmness of the blue sea water.

Calangute beach

Nowadays, 7 kilometers of Calangute beach is occupied by the territory of tourism with the vast majority of hotels, shops and restaurants. Extras are added by local residents - Indians who spend their holidays in Calangute. The Calangute area is famous for its rather original landscapes: at the entrance you can see the fake dome of the Church of St. Alex, and the emerald green of the fields located nearby add color.

The attraction of the beach is the Kerkar Art Gallery, where you can see the works of all Goan artists. In "Kerkar", once a week, an evening of Indian song and dance is held, which is definitely worth a visit.

Those who like to hang out in Calangute will most likely be bored, because of the outstanding places of such a plan on the beach, only three establishments remain: Peter`s bar, Angela P. Fernandes and Bob`s Inn.

The beach is designed for those who want to relax and enjoy nature, if you are one of these tourists - welcome!

Candolim beach

Candolim Beach is located 14 kilometers from the capital of the Indian state of Goa - the city of Panaji. The beach mostly consists of clean soft sand. Near Sinquerim there are centers for almost all kinds of water sports: here you can do both parasailing and swimming to dolphin habitats, and much more.

On the beach in the Donna Florina Beach Resort area is a gathering place for adherents of various religious practices. There are many cafes and restaurants on the waterfront, of which it is worth noting Floyd’s with traditional Goan dishes, Bom Sucesso with karaoke and live music, Coconut Inn, Flambee with excellent cuisine, Allspice near Taj holiday village, Top Corner and Stone House. Hotels and shops are also nearby. From the beach with a frequency of 20 minutes there is a bus and you can always take a taxi.

Cola beach

Cola Beach is located in Kankona, Goa, India. This is truly a paradise for tourists - the most remote beach from civilization, where you can enjoy peace and solitude. The sand of the beach has a reddish color, which stands out against the background of bright green palm trees. Among other things, the Cola beach is much cleaner, perhaps precisely because it is much more deserted than the rest of Goa's beaches.

Cola Beach is a wild place that is perfect for those tourists who are looking for solitude, tranquility and relaxation. Here you will not meet families with small children, as the entrance to the water is quite sharp. By the way, you should be careful: despite the fact that the coast is sandy, sharp stones can be found at the bottom near the coast. The best time to visit Kola Beach is from October to March, when the dry and hot season begins on the coast of India, while from November to February it is humid and often rainy. Cola Beach consists of two parts, separated by a cape and, respectively, having the name Big Cola Beach and Small Cola Beach.

Finding this beach is not difficult: it is located 10 kilometers from Agonda beach and 15 kilometers from Palolem beach - noisy sea resorts with a well-developed tourist infrastructure.

Agonda beach

Agonda Beach is located in the southern part of Goa. A three-kilometer sandy beach, stretching away from the main roads, is considered to be one of the coziest corners of the coast.

Those who do not need a noisy company, loud music and the inviting cries of merchants tend to come here. Here is pure white sand, and along coastline palm trees grow throughout its length. Bungalows hide in their shadow. There are no stalls and no souvenir shops, but you can hear the sound of the surf and the rustle of palm branches. You can order a boat trip and you will surely see dolphins in the sea.

Romantics and adventure lovers can rent a tent, set it up right on the shore, fall asleep under the starry sky and wake up to the sound of the waves. The sea here is warm, the bottom without stones. This beach is very suitable for a relaxing family holiday.

Sinker beach in North Goa

A wide beach with clean and warm water and white sand is not crowded, as it is located in the northern part of the state.

The whole life of the resort town takes place on the beach; every year a grandiose costumed carnival takes place here. In the northern part of the beach, you can see the coastline sandwiched between two rocks, and fresh lake, which is fed by waters from local hot springs. During the day, beach visitors enjoy the sea and a gentle breeze, and in the evening they can attend beach parties with live music and mass meditations.

Arrosim beach

Arossim is an unusually beautiful, calm and quiet beach, located 12 kilometers from the city of Margao and 16 kilometers from Dabolim Airport.

At the southern end of Arossim is the famous Park Hyatt luxury hotel, which has the largest swimming pool in the country, an epic spa and fitness center, and its own Kid `s camp. In the north of Arossim, near Cansaulim, is the Heritage Village Club. In the village itself there are several villas, guest houses and restaurants.

Diving center on Palolemo beach

It used to be that the resorts of Goa are not interesting for divers. However, the rich underwater life of the Arabian Sea, the novelty of the destination and the ability to choose any dive program make this center attractive for both experienced divers and beginners. The Arabian Sea is not as rich in corals as the Red Sea, but it is simply teeming with fearless fish!

In addition, the local coast is ideal for diving for beginners, which include most tourists. Depths from 8 to 22 meters, visibility up to 20 meters, water temperature from 25 to 30 C - ideal conditions for exploring underwater world. The dives near the Netrani Islands will be especially impressive, where you will be taken by boat. You will see many unusual marine life and fish in natural coral reef conditions.

And most importantly: you will feel completely safe, because you will be accompanied by certified employees of the center who have great experience work.

Colomb beach

Colomb is a beautiful sandy beach located in the southern part of the Indian state of Goa. The beach is modest in size and relatively private - even in the midst of tourist season it is never crowded here.

Colomb beach has the shape of a wide horseshoe and is surrounded on all sides by palm groves and rocks. Colomb - rocky beach. On its sandy shore, fragments of rocks and smooth black boulders are found in abundance, which give this place a picturesque look. A separate attraction of Colomb is the Pandava Drum rock - if you throw stones at it, the rock makes a sound a bit like a drum roll.

Otherwise, Colomb Beach is not much different from other beaches in South Goa. There are also restaurants that offer vacationers to enjoy traditional Indian cuisine. And right on the sand, guest houses with thatched roofs rise - these bungalows can be rented for a moderate amount. In addition, Colomb will definitely appeal to all lovers of silence and solitude - this is one of the quietest and most calm beaches in the region.

Kerim beach

Basically, the coast in Goa is sandy, gradually in the water - and not immediately - the depth increases, and the sea has a constant temperature in the region of +26 - +28. Do not believe the white sand and coconut palms: it was an advertisement for the Bounty, and in Goa the sand is of any color, but not white. The same applies to the water: it is muddy, but you can not find native fish in it. The whole of Goa is 100 kilometers of sandy coast.

The sand on the beaches of Goa is not sifted, but you can meet girls who collect garbage in baskets. Carry not far: spontaneous dumps start right at the palm trees.
