Bai Ong Lang

Ong Lang Beach is a non-continuous coastline with rocky edges and sandy areas. One of the most beautiful beaches in Fukuoka is a delightful area on east coast islands, suitable for both peaceful and active holidays. The sand is medium-sized and yellow, and clear waters have a blue-green tint.

Here you can go fishing, scuba diving, diving or even go-karting. Travelers can grab a bite to eat at street food stalls or at bars and express restaurants on the beach.

  • The Ong Lang Garden Resort is considered to be an ideal accommodation facility offering free internet, Cable television, swimming pool, American breakfast or " Buffet”, parking for vehicles, drinks. Bai Rash Vem (starfish beach)

White small grains contrast with the brightest colors marine life. The water is transparent. Enjoy the views with a mask and snorkel while snorkeling. There is virtually no infrastructure here. The beaches of Fukuoka, where there are starfish, are considered the most important.

  • In the three-star Arcadia Phu Quoc Resort overlooking the shore, tourists will receive transport parking, cafes, bars and lobbies, internet, breakfast. You can stay in a bungalow. Rooms here can be rented for 1809 - 6986 rubles. They are clean, with large beds, a spacious bathroom, tea and coffee making facilities.
  • The Shells Resort & Spa Phu Quoc is located on the shores of Duong Dong Lake and is good option for two. Guests are provided with parking, swimming pool, fitness center, Wi-Fi. The staff is bilingual. Luxury rooms can be rented at a cost of about 7,000 rubles.

You can get to the beach by taxi, ordered minibus or bike.

Bai Thom (starfish beach in Vietnam)

Another coast in the north-west of the island is different in that it is not so visited by tourists. Travelers claim that Cambodia can be seen from a deserted beach. On the coast there is a restaurant with an excellent menu. It's quiet and remote place with shallow water, where arriving visitors can take a break from the bustle and enjoy nature.

Near the beach, there are mainly authentic bungalows, for which you can pay directly upon check-in. Their cost is quite low - 750-1200 rubles per night. Breakfast is provided for a fee (about 250 rubles). The rooms are equipped with wide double beds. Hotels in Fukuoka for families with children near this beach are located at a distance of about 13-14 kilometers.

  • Prices for tours to Vietnam:

Bai Dai Beach is a sandy beach where there are few tourists.

The most beautiful and cleanest Bai Dai beach (from Vietnamese "long beach") is less popular due to the fact that it is not very convenient to get to it. It stretches for several kilometers and has a gentle slope. The sand is soft and very fine.

So far, the infrastructure of the beach is not very developed, but the Vietnamese plan to build it up with restaurants and hotels. But there are still several cafes for tourists to have a bite to eat. Moreover, seafood in them is much cheaper than in the city.

Bai Dai is great for passive recreation, so you can bring children here. The season here starts in March-April and lasts until November.

Bai Khem (Khem Beach, southeast beach)

Another amazing fine-grained beach with white sand and salty turquoise water. There are also not very many tourists and you can ride on small boats. Bai Khem is close to and similar to Bai Sao. The length is about 500 meters.

Most of the beach is occupied by the territory of the fashionable Marriott hotel, where room rates start from 32,000 rubles, it's expensive, but the service and conditions for relaxing on the island of Phu Quoc with children will be ideal.

Bai Khem is located 25 kilometers from the city of An Thoi. Herring salad is considered a local dish, which we definitely recommend to tourists to try.

The beaches of Phu Quoc Island:

Bai Sao - paradise beach in Phu Quoc?

Are you dreaming of heaven on earth and the travel agency told you that he is in Bai Sao? Do not be fooled - the beach is cool, but quite on the bounty. Many call it the best beach in Phu Quoc and in all of Vietnam, but we do not think so.

Tourists are brought to the center of the beach. These are predominantly Vietnamese and Chinese - social creatures, where they all flounder in the water in one heap.

To the right, towards the stones, there is an almost deserted beach, and it is not so clean there. Only single couples come here. The left side is more habitable: there are cafes, hotels, they sell fruits. Near the restaurant "Paradiso" - slender palm trees leaning towards the water. Most of the Chinese live here: who will miss a photo shoot in fluttering chiffon dresses on a romantic swing?

But even on the "best" beach in Vietnam, you will see a landfill. The Vietnamese do not pay attention to the garbage. Why export? We just throw it into the bushes.

We were very lucky: on the beach we did not find an abundance of sunbeds, inflatable trampolines, jet skis, boats and other activities. They did not understand why they were not there, because they wrote something else on the Internet. Get away from tourists, it will be quiet. But rubbish! In general, I liked the beach, but there was a feeling of annoyance after visiting. We did not return to Bai Sao again and we cannot call it the best beach in Fukuoka.

But enough about the cons. Here are the pros of the beach: clear water, fine White sand, very gentle entrance (good for small children), picturesque nature, almost privacy, there are rudiments of infrastructure (resorts, cafes and restaurants, paid showers and even a free toilet).

How to get there. A taxi costs 300-400,000 VND, but it is cheaper and more interesting to rent a bike (150,000 VND per day). There are also excursions. The distance from the main Long Beach is approximately 25 km.

So you went to the beach. Two roads lead to Bai Sao: one to the south of the beach (behind the stones) - and here is a real dump. The other - to the civilized part. Both roads are concreted. The second is very narrow, they can hardly drive apart on it. As a result - traffic jams. The Vietnamese, in their favorite manner, simply did not finish the last section of the road 500 meters long.

Hotels on Bai Sao Beach

There are resorts and guesthouses on Bai Sao Beach, but for some reason they are not presented in online booking systems. On Roomguru.ru we found only My Lan Guesthouse and The Beach House An Thoi (right by the sea) - such things. And on Booking.com there are hotels further away - Phu Nam House and Hanh Mai Hotel.

Long Beach - the most comfortable beach in Phu Quoc

Connoisseurs of convenience will love Long Beach. Probably 95% of the hotels of the entire island are concentrated along the beach! You can find food without getting up from the sunbed - more precisely, she will find you herself. In addition to peddlers, there are many cafes both on the beach and along the road.

Many scold the beach - they say, it is dirty and noisy. We didn't observe anything like that. Let's just say: the beach is the most ordinary, it does not cause emotions. Yellow sand, clear water. There are no waves, the sunset is gentle.

Minuses: although the beach is municipal, some hotels do not allow you to settle on their territory - they drive you away. Plus there is little shade, and the beach strip is very narrow. Few civilized outlets to the sea - you either need to go around, or with a fight or secretly pass through the resorts (but almost always the guards will prevent you). As you can see, there are many inconveniences - this beach cannot be called the best in Fukuoka either.

Hotels on Long Beach in Phu Quoc

Long Beach has such a variety of hotels and resorts that it's hard to choose. Many tours are sold in hotels on Long Beach.

  • The Hill Resort 3*. Nice new hotel. There is a pool, breakfast, quiet. The price is $40.
  • Miana Resort 2*. Garden hotel. The best of all where we lived in Fukuoka. Cozy bungalows surrounded by flowers. Outdoor bathroom, large swimming pool, royal breakfasts. The price is $42.
  • Cozy Resort. Spacious bungalows surrounded by plants. There is no pool. The price is $25.
  • Sailing Hotel 2*. Cozy hotel with breakfasts with rooms in the style of the 70s. The price is $25.

Rush Vem - the most beautiful beach in Fukuoka!

Bãi Rạch Vẹm- this is a beach with starfish, which are countless here. It is he who we consider the most beautiful and impressive in Fukuoka, this best beach on the island! There is unusually white and fine sand. From such beauty, we were stunned and constantly photographed the beach.

Rush Vem is more suitable for admiring nature and watching starfish than for a beach holiday in the traditional sense. There is no infrastructure here, except for one seafood restaurant on the water. The stretch of beach suitable for recreation is narrow and small. The sea is shallow. There is almost no shade - only 4-5 pavilions and one shed (former cafe). Therefore, there are very few people!

Probably the title paradise beach we would give it to Rush Vem. Just do not go to the left side, so as not to be disappointed :)

There are many pluses. Here are the cons: about 5 km to the beach - dusty and bumpy dirt road. There is no infrastructure! For inexpensive food, you need to go to the track - take food with you.

Where is it located and how to get there. You can get to the beach with starfish in Phu Quoc by taxi or bike along the highway to the north of the island - use MAPS.ME to navigate. Don't miss the huge sign with a photo of the beach. A valiant Vietnamese woman stands nearby and sends everyone to the beach. If you go straight, you will come to a picturesque fishing floating village, which we also recommend visiting.

Bai Thom

Bai Thơm- another beach with starfish in Fukuoka. It is not at all as impressive as Rash Vem, and is almost not suitable for swimming. The sand is yellow. At low tide, you can see marine life: clams, starfish, crabs, some corals. There is no infrastructure, except for a cafe. Come to that section of the beach that is near the island - the rest of the parts are terrible.

Bai Khem

To the beach Bai Khem leads two roads: one through luxury hotel Marriott 5 *, where only guests are allowed, the other is through the forest. Only locals come here. When we were on the beach, a cheerful company of Vietnamese was walking, there were many children.

The beach is not equipped, there is nowhere to spread a towel. The sand is yellow. A lot of trash. But the beach area near the hotel is well-maintained and clean - after all, a five-star resort!

Duong Dong beach

This beach is next to the lighthouse. We do not recommend swimming here - the port is nearby. Although the locals do not disdain. People come to the pier to eat and watch the sunset.

I am sure that all those who leave for Vietnam from the harsh Russian winters, not only will they spend all their time looking at and exploring the local sights, but they will also want to bask in the sun and swim in the sea at the best beaches in Phu Quoc.

And for those who have already been on this island or are just going to go, I did below short review, in my opinion, all the main beaches .

You can choose a hotel on an excellent service, he searches for hotels on all major booking systems, such as Booking, Agoda, Hotels, etc. and will immediately give you the cost of the hotel in these systems. I also wrote a review about .

#1: Beach Long Beach(long beach)

It is located on west coast islands washed by the Gulf of Thailand. Since it is located on the southwestern coast, you can, of course, watch beautiful sunsets from it, as the sun does not just set over the horizon, but seems to fall into the sea.

The beach stretches from Duong Dong and stretches south for almost twenty kilometers. The sand has a yellow tint and is bordered by a grassy edge of the coast lined with rows of coconut palms.

The central and northern part is the most the best place for relax. There are numerous hotels, cafes and bars along the road leading to Duong Dong, where you can have a delicious lunch and a glass of wine. Clean beach, a lot of sunbeds, compared to Thailand, it is not crowded here.

The southernmost part of the beach is mostly deserted, in the distance there are lonely fishing shacks made of palm leaves. Slowly, construction is increasingly covering its southern part. So soon there will be hotels and other developed infrastructure here.

Bai Sao is not inferior to Long Beach in its significance and beauty. Its length is about two kilometers, and it is located in the southern part of the island, 25 kilometers from the capital Duong Dong. Bai Sao is a rather secluded beach with soft and white sand - one of the few on the island.

You can not only passively sunbathe on it, but if you prefer whiter leisure, then here you can rent a jet ski, go scrolling or just ride a banana. Also near the beach there are several hotels and restaurants that offer European, Vietnamese or Russian dishes.

Here in the ocean you can see starfish, if you're lucky, small squids. In the most northern and southern areas of the island, there are places where you will find corals.

Adviсe:

  • From May to October, the sea in this place is calm, as the winds go to the western part of the island. And from October to May the sea will be restless, especially in the middle of the day.
  • Bai Sao is a popular beach and it gets crowded from time to time. But if you are looking for privacy and peace, then come to it either early in the morning or in the evening to admire the amazing sunset.

Bai Ong Lang is located on the west coast of Phu Quoc. It is located between the town of Ganh Dau and Duong Dong. Bai Ong Lang is not continuous, but consists, as it were, of a series of small sandy beaches separated by ridges of stones.

All recreation areas in the resorts are well maintained, they are regularly cleaned from the debris that the waves bring to the shore. It's wonderful quiet place, not crowded with tourists, fine white sand, with crystal clear water.

There are no shops on this one, so it's best to buy everything you need in advance and bring with you. But if you want to drink cocktails or beer, then you will find a bar or restaurant next to the hotel. If you are not satisfied with the food here, then you can always go to Duong Dong, which is located a 15-minute drive from the beach.

A vendor sometimes walks along the beach and offers you to buy fresh pineapple, mango or watermelon. Sun loungers on this beach can be rented for about 50 VND per day.

#4: Beach bai Khem(Bai Khem Beach)

Bai Khem (also known as Kem Beach, Bai Kem, Bai Khem, and also called "Cream Beach") is another white sandy beach of Phu Quoc, located on the southeast coast south of An Thoi (An Thoi Town) 24 kilometers from Duong Dong.

Bai Khem is a beautiful crescent-shaped beach. Wet white powdery sand creaks pleasantly underfoot. The sea here is calm with a greenish-blue tint. In connection with which it received the name - Emerald Bay.

Although the beach itself is not as big as Long Beach or Bai Sao, it also attracts tourists with its romantic scenery. A fishing village nestled near the beach.

There are also bars and restaurants on Khem Beach that offer freshly cooked seafood. By visiting this place, you can buy fresh shrimp, oysters or snails that have just been caught directly from the fishing boats, and then take them to a restaurant where they will be cooked for you on the spot according to your chosen recipe.

Vung Bao is located in the northwest of Phu Quoc Island between Cua Bi Beach in the south and Bai Dai Beach in the north. From it opens great view on the neighboring island Hong Mong Tai, it has a good place for swimming, as well as for fishing and scrolling.

The first rainy days of November again made me dream of a bygone summer. In moments of such moods, I always do something extraordinary, for example, remind the management of the accumulated days off and demand to let me go to the land of the warm sun and gentle sea.

My work does not allow me to go on vacation in the summer, so my lot is - beach holiday in southern tropical countries. For the past few years, my friend and I have been basking in the sun in the hospitable and exotic Vietnam at the end of autumn. So why change your habits.

The bliss of fashionable and well-inhabited hotels has already been well studied by us. I wanted to add a couple of notes of extreme sports to the upcoming trip. Why not get acquainted with the still virgin corners of outlandish Vietnam in the Gulf of Thailand region.

Our attention was drawn to one of the new areas of the tourism industry - the island of Phu Quoc. About this southern territory country, it cannot be fully said that no human has set foot here yet. The enchanting tropical beauty of this corner attracts more and more tourists to their possessions. And yet the beaches of Fukuoka are still half empty, here you can spend a romantic vacation of a completely secluded nature.

Phu Quoc: which beach to choose?

We did not try our luck for serious strength and, for a start, booked a hotel near the most popular beach of the southern island - the sandy kingdom of Long Beach. The desired Long Beach is currently the center of the Phu Quoc tourist universe and the corner with the most developed infrastructure on the island.

As soon as the first snow falls timidly on the ground in the winter latitudes of our planet, the velvet sand beach the first fans of the "eternal" summer begin to arrive. Neighbors in comfort next to us turned out to be 2 Russian families with kids of about 5-6 years old. I must say right away that the optimal choice for families with children of this particular beach is quite obvious.

We were met on the very first day of rest by the warm sea and the gentle sun, climatic conditions were very pretty, and the gentle entry into the water towards the embrace of the sea gave bathing an additional charm.

The next day showed that the weather on the island has many faces. In the morning, the guide at the hotel was talking about the fact that the season of heavy rains and constant unrest at sea ended just a couple of weeks ago. The period of the year from May to mid-autumn is considered not quite a resort here. Often the shower from the rain streams is too dense, and the sea shows a recalcitrant character almost every day.

But today we were able to set a record for tanning, however, in the evening it became quite clear that it is better to earn a chocolate shade for the skin gradually. Henceforth, we stopped appearing in the sun after 11 am, and going to the beach after 2 pm allowed ourselves only in the company of sunburn remedies.

Long Beach Phu Quoc: opinions and doubts

© runnerone / flickr.com / CC BY 2.0

After 3 days in Fukuoka, we summed up some preliminary results of our new discoveries:

  • Long Beach is not only the most important tourist beach in Fukuoka, but also the most equipped, and the longest, 20 km - this is no joke to you;
  • along the entire length of the territory, beach areas lie under the jurisdiction of the city administration, we managed to meet closed VIP zones only a couple of times;
  • the presence on different days of a completely different number of tourists on the beach turned out to be unpredictable, we decided to attribute this to the category of local mysteries;
  • Hiking trips along the beach area in both directions allowed us to find several completely deserted corners, which we took advantage of for skinny dipping;
  • framing the yellow silk of sand almost everywhere are sprawling coke palms, at the foot of which grows lush green grass;
  • reconnaissance of the northern part of the beach gave us wonderful finds in the form of a collection of Asian cafes and restaurants, here we paid unconditional tribute to the delights of hearty Vietnamese cuisine;
  • a densely populated network of mini-hotels, catering establishments, hotels and bars with soft drinks is located on the trajectory of the asphalt highway towards the city of Duong Dong.

Of the unpleasant discoveries, we noted the invasion of lazy, but rather annoying fleas. The occupation of the beaches of Vietnam is their favorite habitat. Ways to deal with impudent insects turned out to be unpretentious: beach fleas do not cross the boundaries of the mat, do not have time to attack while walking, and do not like wet sand. So we learned to deal with them pretty quickly.

Wai Bong Beach

One of the days of our stay in Vietnam, we decided to take a ride to Bai Vong beach. We remember it because it was the first coastal zone of the island, to which we arrived on a passenger boat during the transfer from the mainland. Hotels in the Bai Wong beach area have not yet been built, but this area is predicted to be a tourist future. So far, the exotic corner is famous for its restaurants, which use fresh seafood to prepare culinary delights.

Marine lovers come to the beach to admire the riot of colors of jellyfish that abundantly populate shallow waters in calm weather. A close acquaintance with transparent creatures was not included in our plans, so we did not swim on Bai Wong Beach. But we paid tribute to a plentiful feast in one of the restaurants and we can respond with full responsibility to the skill of local culinary specialists.

The most beautiful beaches in Phu Quoc

If we make a conditional gradation of the numerous beaches of Fukuoka, then we recall the old story about a monkey who could not decide which relatives to join her: smart or beautiful. We do not undertake to call smart sandy estates of the island, we did not check them for this quality. But we will call some of them especially beautiful with complete confidence in our innocence. We visited some of these corners ourselves, others were told to us by the neighbors at the table in the restaurant of our hotel.

Bai Sao Phu Quoc Beach (aka Sao Beach or Bai Sao)

© / flickr.com / CC BY 2.0

A haven of white sand, smoothly turning into small tropical groves. From the town of Zuong on the southeast coast of Phu Quoc, we traveled by taxi, briskly overtaking scooters and bikes of other tourists. The last 2 km of the total road of 25 km, we were glad more than once that we were going by car.

The picture of the beach that opens to the eye at the first moment plunges into complete shock from the magnificence seen. The turquoise bay contrasts with white sand, swings on palm trees bowed in a hospitable bow suggest oriental fairy tales.

Looking ahead, I can safely say that the photos from this place of riot of natural luxury turned out to be the most colorful. During the way back to our place of residence, we even argued that living on the island should have been chosen in this paradise oasis. The question is moot. Bai Sao is very popular with tourists from all over the world and you will definitely not find a quiet solitude there.

We can only report on the beauty of Bai Khem beach from hearsay. The Bai Khem region is under the control of the military units of Vietnam. Curious tourists are not favored here, few of the guests of Fukuoka can boast of a long stay in this area.

Ong Lang Phu Quoc Beach (Bai Ong Lang)

For tourists who prefer to stay in premium hotels, elite resorts near Ong Lang Beach are suitable. In the center of the western coast of the island, both fashionable accommodation facilities and their more modest ones gather around the shop.

Legendary Mango Hotel Bay Resort gathers on its territory lovers of tropical nature who appreciate the high level of service. Infrastructure is developed near the beach, similar in its content to Long Beach. Hotels and guest houses, bars, cafes and restaurants complete the charm tropical paradise and a general set of beach pleasures.

Bai Bung Bao beach (Bai Vung Bau)

© colorfulfoxes / flickr.com / CC BY 2.0

A nirvana for nudists and lovers of topless sunbathing has become a beach with an unusual shape, reminiscent of the half moon of Bai Bung Bao. Getting to the Bai Vung Bau property is not easy: a dirt road, 12 km on foot in the hot sun is not an option for this situation, the only salvation is local transport. The calm expanse of the sea surface, the high growth of thick grass, the pleasant velvet of snow-white sand grains are a gift to those who nevertheless decided to come here. There are many secluded glades on the beach, and cozy restaurants specializing in fish and seafood dishes are scattered along the territory.

Bai Dai Phu Quoc Beach, Vietnam (Bai Dai)

© eroku / flickr.com / CC BY 2.0

The neighbor of the previous beach from the north was Bai Dai beach. This section of the northwestern coast of the island is distinguished by a decent length, a special shade of turquoise sea waters, sandy shallow water - a safe area for those who are just learning to swim.

An important sign for the road here was for us the road to the cult vietnamese park entertainment Vinperl. A little before reaching the legendary water park, we just ended up on the beach Bai Dai beach.

Having had plenty of fun in the shallow waters of Bai Dai Beach, we went to one of the nearest cafes and sat for a long time in the shady coolness of tropical plants with a cup of aromatic coffee and sandwiches with fish filling.

The beaches of Fukuoka, where there are the least people

Among the tourists there are many representatives who prefer to spend their holidays away from noisy entertainment and large crowds of people. Phu Quoc Island, like no other place on the planet, gives travelers interested in peace, such an opportunity. The island has a whole galaxy of deserted beaches that give shelter to lone travelers or small companies.

The Phu Quoc desert beach collection consists of several gems:

Bai Gan Dau Beach

© nguyentrung / flickr.com / CC BY 2.0

Bai Gan Dau Beach is located at some distance from the main hiking trails in the north of the island. The prima facie of the area is the Peppercorn Beach Hotel. The magnificent Ganh Dau Beach hides its charms near one of the Vietnamese fishing villages. The easiest way to recognize the snow-white kingdom of sand on the shores of the blue sea possessions is by the accumulation of fishing equipment. AT good weather a series of Cambodian islets is visible from the shore. In a remote region, there is a majestic temple built far from human eyes for solitary prayers to the Buddha.

Bai Rash Vem

© andrew3000 / flickr.com / CC BY 2.0

Bai Rush Vem Beach is known in tourist circles as a habitat for colorful starfish. The appearance of the corner is similar to many other Phu Quoc beach spots, and only seasoned travelers know the secret of Bai Rach Vem Beach. Scientists from all over the world come here to study the habits and character of bizarre marine life.

Bai Thom

© chagiajose / flickr.com / CC BY 2.0

Cashew nut plantations frame a quiet place called Bai Thom Beach. You can drive here only along the country lanes of the island, and the lucky ones may have the opportunity to witness the ebb of the sea. As with the other remote beaches listed above, the path here lies from the city of Zuong Dong.

Phu Quoc beaches are the main attraction of the island. There are really a lot of them on a relatively small area, and everyone deserves attention: the huge Long Beach, and the cozy Gan Dau, and the advertised Sao Beach, and the northern Thom Beach. Each of them is good in its own way, but we suggest choosing the best Phu Quoc beach. Go!

Long Beach

As the name implies, the beach is the longest on the island of Phu Quoc. It is better than the rest equipped for tourist vacation: infrastructure is developed, it is not difficult to get from the center of the island. The sand here is fine, yellow, and the water is clear.

Let's start from the northern part of the beach, which is located closer to the center of Duong Dong. The water here is not always clean, as the port is nearby. The approach to the sea is also not particularly convenient: a concrete frame has been built here, which not only spoils the photos, but is simply dangerous. In some places you can see huge rain drains, which are associated with sewers. Needless to say, you don't need to swim here.

However, if you go towards the eastern part of the island, the sea will become cleaner and cleaner, as some parts of the beach belong to hotels located on the first coastline(HanoiHotel, SalindaResort PhuQuocIsland, FamianaResort&Spa). The private beaches of Phu Quoc (Vietnam) can be used by hotel guests, but the administration will not mind if you pass through their territory and choose comfortable spot on the shore.

The central part of the beach is the most comfortable and quiet. The entry into the sea is smooth, which will delight families with children.

The infrastructure is developed here, there is garbage, but not much. Getting to the center of Long Beach is not at all difficult: you can take a taxi from the city center (about 45.000 VND or $ 2) or come on foot. As for renting a sun lounger, this service will cost about 100,000 VND ($ 4.5). As a gift, they often give a towel and a drink.

In the central part of the beach you can have lunch in one of the cafes. The prices here are reasonable: dinner on the ocean will cost 230.000 - 450.000 VND ($10-20).

As for the southern segment of the beach, the infrastructure is less developed here, but there are much fewer people. Bai Sao Beach

Many tourists call Bai Sao beach not only the best beach in Phu Quoc, but also in all of Vietnam. Since Bai Sao is located in the southeast of Fukuoka, the weather is bad, and, as a result, high waves are rare here. The most favorable months to visit are March, April, May.

As for swimming itself, the entry into the sea is shallow, and in order for an adult to swim, it is necessary to go several tens of meters deep into the sea. But for families with children, this is a big plus: you can safely let your child go to a little walk along the coast.

Unfortunately, both locals and tourists are not particularly careful and do not care about the cleanliness of the beach. Oddly enough, it is especially dirty here in the off season (November-January), as garbage sails from the coast of Cambodia. But in the high season, the cleanliness is monitored by hotel workers.

The right half of Bai Sao Beach is wilder and more likely to encounter rubbish. But the left one is intended for tourists, so today there are several cafes and restaurants here. Also, only on the left side of Bai Sao Beach on Phu Quoc Island you can rent a sun lounger. There is a toilet and a shower.

The sand is yellow, with admixtures of small coral fragments.
