Mountains in Kabardinka. About the city of Kabardinka Are there mountains in Kabardinka

In August 2017, Maria and Alexander and their daughter Nadezhda rested in the village (previously it was an urban-type settlement) of Kabardinka, Gelendzhik District, Krasnodar Territory.

Below are their impressions of the holiday, an assessment of the living conditions, food and infrastructure of the village, as well as tips and secrets, knowledge of which will help to plan a family vacation economically.

Details about what to watch in Kabardinka and where to take the child - in the review of the main ones. And for those who have not yet decided exactly whether it is worth going here - the pros and cons of various Black Sea resorts for families with children.

Kabardinka is located very close to Gelendzhik - it may be useful to you (also based on personal experience), as well as about.

I have known Kabardian for a long time: I rested there with my mother from 13 to 19 years old. Then, with my husband, I went to other places, but I definitely wanted to show my daughter the resort, which, it seems, “grew up” with me.

Coming to Kabardinka from 2000 to 2006, I noticed how the beach was expanding, how the embankment was lengthening, how home mini-hotels were growing, how the entertainment infrastructure was developing. Every year the village surprised and delighted with “new clothes”.

In 2016, I did not recognize my beloved Kabardinka. It has developed into a classy resort. Every day we discovered something new for ourselves in a familiar place.

Season and climate: when is the best time to travel with children

Kabardinka is decorated with distant blue mountains. It is located on the shore of the Tsemesskaya Bay, and the water in the bay heats up early and does not cool down for a long time.

In Kabardinka, you can relax in any summer month, in late spring and early autumn. It is quite warm there from mid-May (up to 26 degrees) and until the 20th of September (24 degrees). Comfortable for children water temperature (up to 26 degrees) and air (up to 31 degrees) is observed in August.

Those who rested in October claim that it was possible to swim in the sea even at this time of the year. The village is protected from the winds by a cape, so there are no strong storms there, although when there are waves on the sea, swimming is not recommended.

But the cleanest sea is in late May-early June, so with very young children it is better to go at this time.

According to the recall of mothers, children get sick less when they arrive at the sea before the start of the high season, however June is the rainiest month this month. This should be taken into account when choosing clothes for walking and have a compact umbrella with you. True, the rains are warm and short-term, so they do not spoil the rest at all.

Accommodation options: boarding houses, hotels, guest houses

You can relax in Kabardinka quite inexpensively, or you can organize a luxurious vacation.

We lived in a home mini-hotel "Summer Coolness" on Mira Street. Rooms from ultra-economical (there are two beds in the room, a table, a hanger, a toilet and a shower in the yard, from 600 rubles) to a luxury level with a bathroom in the room, separate beds, a wardrobe, a TV, air conditioning, a table, chairs and a clothes dryer, from 2500 rubles).

Of course, this "suite" can be called that in the sector of home mini-hotels. There are comfortable benches in the courtyard, lush greenery, kitchens with stoves, tables, chairs and a full set of dishes (many women comfortably cooked borscht, baked pancakes for their families).

Food: cafes, shops, market

It is simply impossible to stay hungry in Kabardinka. Products for every taste and budget can be bought everywhere. We went to the Magnit store, where there were long lines, and to a tiny nameless store on Novaya Street not far from the house where we lived. Bread, drinking water, convenience foods for breakfast were taken from stores: cereals, sausages and instant noodles. For my daughter I bought baby purees in a soft package.

The village has an excellent market with a rich selection of vegetables, fruits, berries, herbs, spices, dried fruits, honey, teas. There we bought various souvenirs in the form of nuts and pine cones in honey, teas with fragrant herbs, sweets such as Turkish delight, churchkhela (who does not know - these are nuts strung on a harsh thread in frozen boiled grape juice, an incredibly tasty thing).

In addition, in the alleys and streets far from the beach, near the gates, the owners exhibit products of their own production and vegetables and fruits from their own vegetable gardens and orchards. There you can buy homemade wine and other alcoholic drinks, different varieties of honey, handicrafts: crafts and souvenirs from shells and stones, beads, children's toys, pictures and the like.

Cafes and canteens are located almost throughout the village. On the coast overlooking the sea, you can dine beautifully while listening to "live music", average check 1000 rubles per person. We dined mostly at home, buying kebab by weight, kebab or other takeaway food.

You can dine with three courses (first, meat or fish with a side dish, salad and a drink) can be tasty and inexpensive in numerous canteens. Price from 400 to 700 per person, The child can be asked to put a half portion at half price.

We had breakfast at home with semi-finished products or tea with cookies.

Beach

There is only one beach in the village - the central one. The beaches of children's health camps are separated by symbolic ropes, but vacationers are also located there, leaving only for the time of bathing children. Somewhere in half an hour's drive there is a "wild beach", we have not been there, I can not say anything about it.

The central beach is very well maintained, clean, with large pebbles. Umbrellas, sunbeds, trestle beds are rented, cold drinks, ice cream, boiled corn and boiled crayfish are sold, they carry churchkhela, pies, belyashi and other food.

Urns are installed along the perimeter of the beach, cleanliness is maintained. Constantly the loudspeaker announces the temperature of water and air, a warning about the prohibition of smoking, briefly highlights the services: rental of catamarans, jet skis, parachuting, glider flights, banana and tablet rides, boat trips.

The density of vacationers is always consistently high, but there is enough space for everyone. The water near the shore is dirty, further - cleaner. A significant drawback for families with children is the sharp slope of the bottom: a step forward is 10 centimeters deeper. Children without armlets and inflatables do not swim, because they already have a head of water a meter from the shore.

Rescuers regularly patrol the water area, returning swimmers from distant buoys.

Leisure

The road to the beach is laid through a shady alley with tall old pine trees. Needles and leaves are regularly swept away. The urns are emptied as they fill up, there are no spontaneous dumps anywhere.

My daughter really enjoyed walking along this alley. It has a lot of statues, fountains, flower girls of unusual shapes. Despite her young age, she happily posed next to them.

We went to the upside down house, where everything is really upside down. We visited an exhibition of Cossack art (my daughter really liked the outfits of the “Cossacks” who met us at the wattle fence).

We visited the old park - a luxurious garden with amazing buildings, magnificent fountains and various green spaces. My daughter ran along the bridges and looked at the mosaic tiles.

Kabardinka has a huge playground where you can play for free. There is also a paid site. There are not many children there and my daughter did not want to go there.

We visited a crocodile farm and a dinosaur park. Of course, ticket prices are very high - 400 rubles per adult and 200 per child, but the impressions were favorable.

There are many stalls selling excursions in the village. Excursions are carried out in the Gelendzhik region, as well as in Sochi, Anapa, Abrau Durso and even in Abkhazia.

We were unpleasantly surprised by drug prices and other assortment of pharmacies.

I forgot at home the hormonal medicine I needed and had to buy in Kabardinka. At home (in Rostov-on-Don) I paid about 900 rubles for it, and at the resort the price range was from 1500 to 3000 rubles.

Children's antipyretic, antiviral and enterosorbents are sold at prices one and a half to three times more than in Rostov.

Drinking water in Kabardinka is more expensive. We threw a pack of six five-liter plastic bottles of water into the trunk. Fuel is also sold at inflated prices. We took two cans of gasoline with us just in case. Before leaving Kabardinka, we refueled from one canister, saving about a third of the cost.

In order to travel cheaply and not at the expense of the quality of your vacation, you need to do a few simple things (some are suitable for those who travel to Kabardinka by car):

  • Collect a first aid kit at home (antipyretic, antiviral, enterosorbents, drugs for diarrhea, vomiting and constipation, hemostatic agents, dressings; for children, medicines should be in a form convenient for taking - in syrup; candles and medicines requiring special storage conditions should not be taken).
  • Make a supply of water for the trip. Do not give children milk, juices and other drinks on the way, give only pure non-carbonated water.
  • Take simple foods for a snack: fruits, vegetables, bread. Exclude from the diet on the road perishable foods, sweets, fast food.

In general, you can relax in Kabardinka interestingly and inexpensively. Municipal authorities are making a lot of efforts for the dynamic development of the village. And the resort can hardly be called a village - rather a small well-groomed seaside town. Will definitely visit again with my husband and daughter.

The swimming season can start as early as May 10 and lasts almost until mid-October. Water temperature in the coastal zone of the Black Sea +26С, and the average summer air temperature is +27С. Indescribably clean sea air mixed with Pitsunda pine phytoncides, the Caucasus Mountains, the Black Sea, a beautiful embankment and well-groomed beaches are the main advantages of the Kabardinka resort. Close to Kabardinka, the seaport and railway station in Novorossiysk, as well as the airport in Gelendzhik, make this resort very accessible to vacationers. Already at the bus station in Kabardinka towards the Black Sea, an interesting resort life begins: a pine forest, walking alleys, souvenir rows and an Alley of Artists.

Attractions Kabardinka

upside down house is an amazing sight. The upside down house is located in the heart of the village of Kabardinka on the market square. In this structure, all furnishings and the building itself are turned upside down. It is interesting to know such feelings! . In summer, quaint buildings of different styles, ancient sculptures, a fountain and pyramids created by sculptors are buried in the greenery of trees and colorful flower arrangements. The Kabardinka embankment is a fragment of a huge 14 km long embankment of Gelendzhik paved with colored tiles with a snow-white parapet and columns.

Kabardinka is a village located in the Krasnodar Territory of the Russian Federation. It is located on the shore of the Tsemesskaya Bay in the widest valley, which descends towards the sea. The resort town of Gelendzhik is expanding 13 kilometers from Kabardinka. From the southwest, this village is protected from winds and hurricanes - Cape Doob protruding far into the sea, and in the northeast it is protected by the Markotkh Range

Kabardinka ranks first in terms of the number of sunny days among all the resorts of Krasnodar. The average annual air temperature is +14 degrees, usually winters are warm and summers are hot. The period from April to November is the most favorable for recovery. Climatic conditions are similar to the southern coast of Crimea. The holiday season is from May to November, when the weather here is warmest and driest.

Kabardinka is famous for its beautiful places. When climbing to the top of Mount Doob, which has the name "Faith, Hope, Love", you can see a picturesque panorama of the city of Novorossiysk. In the northeast, mountain forests and eighteen mountains stretched out, and in the south - the sea with sailing ships. And the cleanest, cloudless sea.

In the south of the Markoth Range, juniper forests have grown, covering an area of about 995 hectares. Three types of junipers, which are representatives of the most ancient flora, were listed in the Red Book of the Russian Federation. They act as air enrichers with essential oils, which have an antiseptic effect. Due to this, the climatic conditions of the region contribute to the overall healing and strengthening of the body. Also here you can find various medicinal plants and shrubs, such as Komarov's bell, Etruscan honeysuckle, flax and other species. At the foot of the Tuaphat ridge grow: oak, alder, silver poplar, ash, as well as the beloved dogwood. And the southern slopes are dotted with artificial plantations of Pitsunda pine. Sea clean air contributes to the health of children, adults and the elderly.

The Old Park is one of the main attractions of the village. Having been here, you will find yourself in the world of ancient antiquity. If you are an adherent of extreme sports, then jeeping is what you need. For romantics, there is an opportunity to stroll along the beautiful Black Sea coast. And having visited the Kastalskaya font, you can go fishing in the reserve, even catch trout. For tasting lovers, a trip to the Abrau-Dyurso winery is a good option. There are many such entertainments, you can give preference to horseback riding or excursions to mountain waterfalls. Here everyone will find entertainment to their taste.

Arriving in this small town, you can stay at the hotel. There are a lot of them here. Resort complex Representatives of different nationalities live in the village of Kabardinka. Of these, the overwhelming majority are Russians, almost a fifth of the total number are Greeks, as well as Ukrainians and Armenians. In total, the number of inhabitants barely exceeds the mark of 7.5 thousand. However, in summer this number increases literally tenfold.

Having visited this resort, you will not only improve your body, but also see at the same time: mountains, sea, various landscapes and bays, beautiful nature. You will definitely want to come here again.

The village of Kabardinka, Krasnodar Territory, is located near the city of Novorossiysk on the opposite bank of the Tsemess Bay, which washes the city itself. The distance from the railway station of Novorossiysk to the center of the village of Kabardinka is only 20 kilometers. Meanwhile, the climate of the village of Kabardinka is strikingly different not only from Novorossiysk, but also from the entire Black Sea coast. Suffice it to say that only Adler can compete with the village of Kabardinka on the Black Sea coast in terms of the number of temperatures and sunny days.

It's raining all around, we have sun in Kabardinka

The beach season in Kabardinka begins earlier than on the entire Black Sea coast, and ends last. Such a gift to vacationers is given by a very good location of the village, it is closed like a crescent moon by the mountains surrounding it, from the side of Novorossiysk the Tsemesskaya Bay cuts like a wedge into the coast, and the prevailing winds towards the village of Kabardinka, while, even if it rains in Novorossiysk, in Kabardinka in most cases the sun shines.

Already in mid-June, the water in the Tsemess Bay, near the village of Kabardinka, warms up to 20-22 degrees, there are not very many vacationers at this time, since the sea on the rest of the Black Sea coast, with the exception of Abkhazia, is still cold.

Kabardinka how to get

Night beach - Kabardinka, Tsemesskaya bay. Right Novorossiysk

The first question of vacationers - how to get to Kabardinka by train. It is impossible to get to the village itself by train, there are no railway lines here, which is probably why Kabardinka for many years was a holiday village for the elite of Soviet times, mainly actors and artists. They gave concerts and meetings in Novorossiysk, Gelendzhik, and spent evenings and nightly gatherings in numerous restaurants (coffee was a rarity then) in the village of Kabardinka.

You can go on vacation to Kabardinka by car, there are several campsites on the coast.

Go on vacation to Kabardinka the best way is by car, it is also cheaper because only taxis and sightseeing electric cars run in the village itself, both are expensive, and there are parking lots for vehicles both in the private sector and on the territory of numerous recreation centers and sanatoriums. When the car, as they say at hand, is very convenient, especially. In the village of Kabardinka, right on the coast, there are several car campsites. The roads are good, in fact, there is one well-groomed paved street along the entire coast, housing prices are very democratic, with the exception of food on the coast, but more on that later.

Kabardinka, view of the village

If you are still on a budget, go by train to Novorossiysk, then by taxi or minibus towards Gelendzhik. Taxis are starting to be offered as usual on the platform. At the exit of the railway station, a taxi is much cheaper, so you can give exactly half of the requested price on the platform, in 90% taxi drivers will agree to take you. There are many taxis, few vacationers, idle costs more than a trip to the village of Kabardinka even half price it is only 20 kilometers away and a maximum of half an hour drive.

City beach - Kabardinka, night, Tsemesskaya bay.

It is much more convenient to call a taxi by phone directly from Kabardinka itself, taxi phone numbers are easy to find on the Internet, I do not list them here, because they are constantly changing. The most common mobile operator in Kabardinka is MTS. The price of a taxi to the village of Kabardinka in 2015 ranged from 400 to 700 rubles, depending on the comfort and size of the taxi.

If you are limited in funds, young and full of energy, you can take a fixed-route taxi or a bus going to Gelendzhik, it stops here at the railway station. It will cost 30 - 50 rubles. There is only one stop in the village of Kabardinka, in the center, at least a kilometer from the sea, housing prices here are the cheapest, plus there is a Magnit store nearby. Why I emphasize this, you will understand later.

City beach - Kabardinka, night, the village itself stretched to the left

Get a job rest in the village of Kabardinka near the sea is also not difficult, while the price will not be much more expensive than the outskirts.

Kabardinka sea, beaches, cafes.

I have already said that the sea here is very warm, just keep in mind that in the village of Kabardinka everything the beaches are in the bay, sea water, but the shores on three sides block the view of the sea and this is not quite usual. At the same time, the bay is shallow, and the sea itself is more like Crimea. , you can, a hundred and even more meters from the shore, catch your feet on stones overgrown with thick algae and shells, the feeling is not pleasant. My wife, for example, is still not used to this.

Kabardinka - city beach, photo

City beaches have been cleared of pitfalls, but the beaches of sanatoriums and recreation centers act differently. The beaches in the area of recreation centers are mainly with a narrow coastal strip, small and rocky. The entrance to the sea is difficult due to the abundance that unexpectedly appear on your way, it is easy to get hurt on sharp stones. Therefore, on all piers, which simultaneously serve as breakwaters, there are chrome-plated iron ladders, like in pools, for descending into the sea. Went down and swim, very convenient, safe, only sometimes you have to wait for your turn, and you can always be splashed with water by kids jumping from the pier.

Kabardinka, this is how the sea looks in the area of \u200b\u200brecreation centers and boarding houses, pitfalls and algae are clearly visible

City beaches are very cultural, clean and well-groomed, the infrastructure in their area is highly developed, which is natural for a resort town. All the beaches in the village of Kabardinka are free, although for some reason they close very early, but at the same time, nothing prevents you from going to the beach in the evening and sitting alone, admiring the sea and the evening lights of Novorossiysk glowing on the opposite shore, but you won’t be able to drink beer on the shore of the city beach.

Kabardinka - embankment at the beginning of the beaches, photo

But it's not a problem. There are a lot of cafes in the village, while outwardly everyone looks elite, it’s even scary to go in, the prices also bite, but in the evening and here nothing will stop you from sitting and dancing enough with just one bottle of beer in the most elite and expensive Kabardinka cafe.

Kabardinka beach of one of the boarding houses, descent into the sea from the pier along the ladder

There are few vacationers on the beaches of Kabardinka on weekdays, but on weekends the number of vacationers increases at least two or even three times, due to the proximity of Krasnodar to Karachay-Cherkessia and Adygea. People come to relax at the sea for the weekend. But when compared with the beaches of Sochi, here the beaches are deserted. We rest on the beach of the boarding house, on average I counted 24 people on thirty meters of the coast. For my wife, this is a lot, she is used to it, it’s just right for me, the main thing is 2 minutes walk to the sea.

Food prices in the village of Kabardinka.

Typical beach of the recreation center, access from the campsite to it

And another important aspect of recreation in the village Kabardinka – food prices. In cafes and even canteens, they are outrageous, about a thousand rubles per person for a modest three-course dinner, with a bottle of beer and a pale-looking salad.

Wild beach Kabardinka

At the same time, it is cheaper in canteens, but the attitude towards you there is not very good, unlike cafes. This is in the city center, a little further cheaper, and the most profitable dish, oddly enough, is barbecue with beer in a cafe on the coast a little away from city beaches, but you won’t live long on one barbecue. That is why at the beginning of the article I mentioned the Magnit store, where prices are more or less democratic, only two and a half kilometers from the central beach, it’s far on foot.

So it is better to relax in the village of Kabardinka in boarding houses and recreation centers, where meals are included in the accommodation.

And the last remark, drinking water in the village of Kabardinka is of terrible quality, you have to buy bottled water, therefore the price of water in five-liter bottles is at least twice as expensive as everywhere else, and three times more on the outskirts and the beach.

City beach - Kabardinka, beginning

And yet, the beauty of the village of Kabardinka, its embankments, the abundance of places for spending evening and nighttime leisure, the warm sea outweighs the shortcomings of stones, algae in the sea and catering prices. So rest in Kabardinka , for those who have not been here yet, I advise without a shadow of a doubt.

Kabardinka is a small village in the Krasnodar Territory, which is part of the resort town of Gelendzhik. The village is located just 13 kilometers from Gelendzhik, in a wide valley on the shore of the Tsemess Bay. From the southwestern side, Kabardinka is sheltered from wind and storms by Cape Doob, and from the northeastern side by the spurs of the Markotkh Range.

This area has very comfortable climatic conditions for recreation, one of the best on the Black Sea coast of the Krasnodar Territory. Kabardian has rather low humidity, a large number of clear hot days in the summer, a warm sea, all this creates ideal conditions for a beach and recreational holiday. The swimming season here lasts from May to October.

Kabarda region

Kabardinka is a settlement that appeared in 1836. Initially, it existed as a military fortification, since the place is protected from two sides by mountains. Over time, Kabardinka gradually became a resort village, this happened after the opening of the railway to Novorossiysk, in 1855.

Since the 1960s, the construction of children's camps and sanatoriums has begun here. Kabardinka has established itself as a family resort where you can relax and improve your health with health benefits.

Today, Kabardinka is a great place not only for children and families, but now you can relax and have fun here for young people and large companies. In addition to a large number of sightseeing tours and various entertainments, here, as before, you can significantly improve your health by undergoing a course of treatment in one of the sanatoriums.

One of the advantages of the resort is its location. From the Gelendzhik airport to the village can be reached in just 20 minutes. And also the fact that the cultural program is very diverse here, all kinds of festivals and concerts are often held in Kabardinka, which makes it possible to diversify your leisure time on vacation as much as possible.

Moreover, the village of Kabardinka is only on paper, in fact it is a very developed resort, where there are also five-star hotel complexes, many boarding houses, guest houses and sanatoriums, as well as sights and the opportunity to walk through untouched nature, admire beautiful views.

For example, here you can go to the Old Park, where prototypes of light are collected in a small area - sphinxes, Egyptian pyramids, ancient sculptures. Or visit the Kastalskaya font, located in the juniper forest, which stretches on the Markhottsky ridge. It will be no less interesting to walk along the relic pine grove. The healing air and the amazing atmosphere reigning here will not leave indifferent not only nature lovers, but also those who are usually indifferent to it.

Resort climate

Kabardinka is the leader among the resorts of the Krasnodar Territory in terms of the number of sunny days. Summers are very hot, and winters are quite warm, with an average daytime summer temperature of 24°C and a nighttime temperature of about 14°C. The total annual temperature is 12.6°C. The coldest months of the year are February and March.

On three sides, Kabardinka is surrounded by mountain ranges, which make the climate as mild and pleasant as it is. In addition, this is the driest place on the Black Sea coast.

The sea, mountains and forests have created a unique humid, temperate and at the same time mountain-sea climate, perfect for treatment and recreation. Kabardinka is often compared with the south of Crimea, as there are a lot of sunny days and practically no fogs. Strong winds occur only in spring and autumn. The peak of the heat is in July and August. From April to November, Kabardinka is the best place to relax, while the sea breeze helps to endure the hot sun very easily.

Juniper forests spread on the southern slope. They occupy a huge area of 994 hectares. Three of the types of junipers that grow here are listed in the Red Book of Russia. It is thanks to the juniper that it is so healing here, saturated with ethereal antiseptic substances. During the day, one hectare of juniper produces approximately 30 kg of phytoncides. This amount would be enough to purify the air of a small city, which undoubtedly indicates how clean and healthy the rest is at this resort.

Rest in Kabardinka

Rest in Kabardinka is not only treatment, but also a lot of entertainment. The first interesting event on vacation for many may be the opening of the holiday season, which is celebrated here on a large scale, a festival and processions are held.

In addition, on each beach you can find a wide variety of attractions from banana rides and a relaxing beach holiday to flights under a parachute canopy and jet ski racing. Those who want to put themselves in order, defeat cellulite and tidy up the skin, can take courses in special hydromassage facilities or take a mud bath.

In addition, in Kabardinka you can ride catamarans, visit the water park, take an extreme trip in a jeep, go diving, windsurfing, rafting, play tennis, volleyball or ride horses. A huge number of excursions will help make the rest as rich as possible. Several options are offered, here are some of them: "Wines of Abrau-Durso", "Hero City Novorossiysk", "Mud Volcanoes of Taman", "Sail Rock", "Safari Park" (Gelendzhik), "Captain Zubkov's Battery", " Zhane Valley”, “Pshad Waterfalls”.

These activities are quite suitable for adults, but there are also entertainment for children. Leisure center "Corsair" with an incredible number of simulators, the attraction "Labyrinth", a shooting gallery of the XXI century, as well as the Glade of Fairy Tales and the Children's Town open their doors to young visitors. Here, children will find something to do and take with them a lot of good memories.

A very interesting place is the famous "Old Park" throughout the Krasnodar Territory. Some tourists come to Kabardinka just to visit it. These buildings contain seemingly incompatible styles: baroque, modern, antique sculptures, pyramids and much more. There is also a fountain in the park, monuments and stones that carry the wisdom of centuries, sculptures that make you freeze with delight. And all this is buried in greenery and flowers.
