In which terminal Vnukovo's victory arrives. Vnukovo Airport outside and inside - a detailed description and diagram

international Airport named after A. N. Tupolev began construction in 1937, the end of construction fell on the beginning of the Second World War. It was at this airport that the plane landed, on board which was the Banner of Victory of the USSR in World War II and the Act of Unconditional Surrender of Nazi Germany.

The first jet aircraft TU-104 took off from this site.

It occupies one of the first places in Russia in the transportation of goods and passengers. Currently, it transports about 450 tons of cargo per day, over 35 million people, carries out 160 thousand flights per year.

It has its own training center for training specialists. Students preparing to become pilots will learn all the basics of their future profession here.

What is inside?

At the entrance to the airport hall, huge and bright halls are striking.

For passengers with handicapped it will not be difficult to move inside the building due to the absence of barriers and the presence of ramps and elevators.

All terminals and halls are decorated in silver tones, and the abundance of light inside the building is striking. Thanks to the abundance of light elements and the reflective surface of the floors, a glow effect is created.

The interior view of the third level of Terminal A (departure hall) makes an indelible impression. The wave-shaped ceiling with glass inserts looks like a web created from many threads.

Due to the fact that they are very high, it creates the feeling of being in an open space, but not in a building. Mezzanines and bridges allow you to use the space more efficiently: they host waiting and relaxing areas with sofas, and there are also VIP rooms (read about how the Priority Pass business lounges look at Vnukovo airport and what are the rules for using a loyalty card).

Area and location

The area of this transport hub is one of the largest among the country's airports - 270 square meters.

The infrastructure of this transport hub is thought out to the smallest detail - there is everything for a comfortable waiting for a flight. Consider the location plan and diagrams of the existing passenger terminals of Vnukovo Airport.

Many customers are wondering how many terminals there are in Vnukovo?

The airport complex consists of 3 main terminals A, B and D and one VIP terminal, which serves special government flights and transports the Moscow City Hall.

Two modern runways are capable of accepting any type of aircraft, including the Airbus A380 and Boeing 747. The airfield's capacity is up to 60 takeoffs and landings per hour.

Vnukovo consists of three complexes:

  • Vnukovo-1 is designed to carry passengers across Russia and to other countries of the world. Consists of three terminals: A, B, D.

The terminal is large in area, it has fifty-two exits to the sites, twenty lanes for domestic flights, twenty-eight for international flights.

The largest capacity is about thirty-five million passengers a year.

It was built according to the general concept of the Germans, but all modern systems for better serving people were developed and implemented by the Russians. This is the pride of the company's leaders.

Everything here is designed for a comfortable stay for all categories of citizens, including those with limited mobility - a smooth floor, ramps, elevators, and escalators are provided.

  • First floor This is the arrival area. There is a baggage claim area here, there are communication salons, banks, ATMs (read about where to find an ATM and a Sberbank branch at Vnukovo Airport). Using a special service, you can order a taxi, get a car for rent.

Over sixty years serves flights aircraft senior officials of the country and heads of other states.

"Vnukovo-3"

For VIP clients who value their time, comfort and mobility, Vnukovo International Airport offers business aviation services at Vnukovo-3.

The advantages of business aviation over conventional flights are clear. Passengers do not adjust to flight schedules, but choose the flight schedule that is convenient for them.

This includes several terminals:

  • Cosmos - for the Russian Space Corporation and business aviation.
  • "ABT Vnukovo 3" for a certain circle of passengers, for receiving special flights of heads of government, guests of the Moscow City Hall.

Reference: The complex carries out more than thirty flights a year, transporting more than 117 thousand people.

What flights are served?

The airport serves international flights in two hundred countries of the world and internal to the cities of Yekaterinburg, St. Petersburg, Samara, Sochi, Chelyabinsk and others.

This transport hub is also actively used for business and special government transportation of the Government and the Moscow City Hall.

How can I get there?

By Borovskoye, Minsky, Kievskoe highway by taxi or metro.

The metro is a safe, fast and inexpensive form of public transport. There is only one disadvantage of this public transport - it is quite difficult to move with suitcases and personal belongings from one station to another.

The closest stations are to Vnukovo:

  • Yugo-Zapadnaya (Sokolnicheskaya line).
  • Oktyabrskaya (Kaluzhsko-Rizhskaya and Koltsevaya lines).
  • Kyiv (Arbatsko-Pokrovskaya and Koltsevaya).

Bus

From the station Yugo-Zapadnaya and Oktyabrskaya to the airport go Shuttle Buses. Shuttle taxi number 705m from Oktyabrskaya to Vnukovo will take you in 30-40 minutes. You can get from the Yugo-Zapadnaya metro station in 15-30 minutes by minibus number 45.

Aeroexpress

High-speed trains in the direction of the air hub go from the station. Kyiv. Aeroexpress will take you about thirty minutes. Today, Aeroexpress is very popular with Muscovites and guests of the capital, as it allows you to quickly and comfortably get from Moscow airports to the city center and back. high speed trains can reach speeds up to 130 km / h.

Aeroexpress service is also at a good level. On the way you will be offered hot and cold drinks, sandwiches, souvenirs. The cabin has air conditioning, Wi-Fi, so you will get to Vnukovo Airport in comfort.

Taxi

You can also get to and, perhaps, this is the most convenient way movement, but also the most expensive.

The fare in this case can reach 650-800 rubles. It depends on the travel distance, time of day, weekends and working days, car class, unpleasant weather conditions, carrying heavy luggage.

Automobile

For those who want to get there by car on their own, there are two high-rise buildings for seven hundred cars on the territory of the complex and parking for another 200 cars is possible next to them. The entrance to them is convenient at any time of the day, the price is from 150 - 500 rubles, downtime is not limited.

Driving directions

  1. From the microdistrict "D" we go along the Kievskoye highway at the sign "Vnukovo, M3 Kaluga". We will pass the monument "Airplane" along the Kyiv highway in ten meters. After seven meters we meet the sign “Big Pokrovskoe village, Moscow”, turn onto Borovskoye highway. We go straight five hundred meters to the T-junction, turn left, drive three hundred meters straight along the blue fence to the parking gate.
  2. We drive thirty kilometers from Moscow along the Borovskoye highway following the sign "Maro-Fominsk, Kaluga". At the sign "Vnukovo 1, Kaluga" - the highway "Belarus", keep to the right side and drive to the flyover. We drive to the sign "Roundabout", drive to the circle, after thirty meters we leave it to the right. After a hundred meters in front of a gray building, we turn left onto Vnukovskoye highway. We drive another two hundred and fifty meters along the concrete fence, we will see the parking indicator. The entrance is on the right, you are there.
  3. From the Minsk highway we turn to the village of Vnukovo, then along the Vnukovskoye highway through the ring we drive to Borovskoye highway and drive along the points as indicated above.

At the entrance from Borovskoye highway, terminals "A", "D", "B" - to the right, opposite the "D" parking. From the Kyiv highway on the left side and parking and terminals.

Driving directions by car:

parking

To avoid fines, the car can only be left on specially designated parking spaces. At the same time, this can be done both in the internal parking of the airport, and in special paid guarded parking lots near the air hub. This is very convenient if you need to leave the car for several days or even weeks.

Below is the cost of parking in a multi-level car park and on the ground open area next to it:

  • the first 15 minutes of the car being in the parking lot are unpaid;
  • if the parking time exceeds 15 minutes and reaches (or does not reach) 30 minutes, but does not exceed 3 hours, the cost of parking, inclusive from the first quarter of an hour, costs 100 rubles.
  • parking that exceeds 3 hours and reaches (or does not reach) 24 hours costs 650 rubles;
  • for full and incomplete 24 hours of parking in a closed box, the car owner will need to pay 1000 rubles.

Important: You can use the parking free of charge if the car will not be on it for more than 3 hours. Participants and disabled veterans of the Second World War, disabled children, as well as senior representatives of large families are also allowed to use the parking lot for free.

Useful video

In addition to the article, we suggest watching an interesting video about Vnukovo Airport:

Vnukovo Airport is the largest in the Moscow air hub in terms of the number of domestic flights served, so if you are flying somewhere in Russia, then there is a high probability that you will end up here. Such large companies are based in Vnukovo Russian airlines, like UTair, Russia and Pobeda, it is the main hub for them, and from foreign ones, for example, Turkish Airlines and.

Vnukovo is the closest airport to Moscow: we, of course, mean the real, and not the new castle Moscow, on the territory of which it, in fact, is located. Getting to the airport is quite easy.

First, on Aeroexpress with Kievsky railway station. It is important to know that it usually runs only once an hour, so if you miss one of them, you will have to wait a very long time for the next one: you can easily miss your flight. In addition, keep in mind that upon arrival at the underground station (as in the subway), the entire crowd from the train rushes along the passage to the terminal building, where, due to the low throughput of the inspection zone, a huge queue forms -! Luckily, it can be bypassed by turning left and taking the escalator or elevator up to the surface. Here, however, you have to cross the road.

Secondly, by bus. The old way: from the metro station "Yugo-Zapadnaya" or "Troparevo" you can take the city bus number 611. By the way, he rides on dedicated lanes, so he doesn’t stand in traffic jams for long. So, you can easily wait half an hour for this 611 bus. Crush in the 611th bus, in general, is also a common thing: it is used by residents of villages along the Kyiv highway. Perhaps its only advantage is the later departures of the last flights, around half past one in the night (other routes stop running earlier).

Therefore, in connection with the opening of the Salaryevo metro station, it is better to travel through it. The 911 express bus (previously called 611k) runs from there and takes only 16 minutes. The last one leaves at 23:49 . In addition, bus 272 also runs from Salaryevo (the last one at 00:30), which does not drive even close to the terminal itself, but stops at the intersection of Central and 1st Reisovaya streets. However, going from this stop to terminal A is a little longer, but more pleasant (along the park) and more convenient than from the 611/911 stop: firstly, you will have to overcome much fewer curbs along the way. Secondly, part of the way passes through a comfortable underground passage with the Aeroexpress sign (the passage also has elevators, they have a separate entrance on the left). The underpass leads directly to the -1st level of terminal A, from where you can take the elevator to the check-in area.

There is also a bus 272K. It differs in that it makes a circle around the village of Vnukovo. So we strongly recommend buses from Salaryevo: it is fast and cheap.

life hack: there is an elevator in Salaryevo, but it is not so easy to find it - it hides behind the stairs, when it seems that the stairs are the end of the station and there is nothing behind it. To get to the elevator, you need to go completely to the end of the platform, this is the first door of the first car from the center. At the end of the platform on the left is the elevator door. An elevator leads to the lobby level. Next, you need to go through the selected turnstile by pressing the green button on it, turn right, go through a series of glass doors and on the right along the wall there will be a second elevator door that leads to the surface. On the surface, the elevator exits into a separate pavilion, which is closer to the stop than the main exit from the stairs. So it is very convenient to use the elevator, especially with luggage.

It is better to leave faster in the direction of Moscow, having reached the “Hotel” stop on the street. Central, where all three buses stop.

There is also bus number 32 to the new Rasskazovka metro station, which opened in 2019. It may be more convenient for those who need to get to the western part of Moscow. It is important to note that the bus approaches the metro station itself only on the way to the airport. When traveling from the airport, you need to get off at the Rasskazovka-2 stop (behind the intersection with a traffic light) and walk a couple of hundred meters to the north through several regulated crossings, which may not be very convenient if you have luggage.

By car, you can drive not only along Kievskoye, but also along Borovskoye highway, there is a terminal not far from Vnukovo. The entrance to the departure area of terminal A (via the overpass) is free, without barriers, but it is strictly forbidden to park there and the exit from the terminal to the street is closed, there is only an entrance. So if you are seeing someone off by car, do not enter the terminal, it will be very difficult to return to the car.

Right next to the terminal there is a car sharing parking lot, where there are usually a lot of Delimobil and Yandex.Drive cars; a trip to the Rasskazovka metro station can be comparable in cost to a bus and take less time. True, in the morning and evening in residential areas near the station it can be very difficult to find a parking space.

Terminal A, opened in 2012, is de facto the only airport terminal. In fact, there is also Terminal B, the former international one from which not long ago a large number of international flights, mostly charter (Ai Fly) and low-cost (Wizz Air), but now they are all transferred to terminal A, and terminal B is mothballed. And also between them is the old terminal D - such (1), in which several domestic flights arrive per day, the passengers of which undergo post-flight inspection. When departing, you will depart in any case from the new terminal, which is the largest in terms of area in Russia.

Unlike Sheremetyevo and Domodedovo, which have two parallel runways, thanks to which you can use one runway for take-offs and the other for landings, at Vnukovo the runways intersect, so the ability to use them simultaneously is limited. Depending on the operating scheme, both lanes may be in operation at the same time, for example, landing on runway-1 from the side of the region, and taking off from runway-2 towards Moscow. This is already being applied in practice. There is an option to take off from both runways towards Moscow at the same time, and from runway-2 - from the cross, for business jets the remaining runway is enough for takeoff.

The airfield, of course, allows you to do much less air traffic than at Domodedovo and quite a bit less than at Sheremetyevo, but still its capacity is sufficient for both the full load of terminal A and the full load of terminal B. Airport (both the airfield and airport complex) can serve about 25-30 million passengers a year.

Two runways at Vnukovo intersect.

But now the airport is not fully loaded (14 million passengers in 2016), so the terminal creates a feeling of silence, tranquility and peace, especially in the evening. There are no crowds, fuss and stuffiness here; the waiting room is always full of free benches, there are always empty seats in catering establishments - in a word, the complete opposite of Sheremetyevo, or even more so Domodedovo, with passengers sleeping in every corner.

Representation of the airline "Transaero" in Vnukovo, God rest her soul.

Then there was “Russia” in this place.

Blocks of check-in counters are "fixed" to airlines; there is no multi-line division like “all domestic flights here, all international flights there”, like at Sheremetyevo, which is good for late passengers: you don’t have to ask to skip the line if check-in is about to end.

Separately, only counters for flights to visa countries are allocated - airline employees pre-check the availability of visas and only then let them go to the check-in counters.

Representative offices of major airlines are also located near check-in counters, so if you have questions, you won’t have to go far to look for an office. However, if there is no one at the representative office counter, you can still contact the office - they are located on the third floor.

You can also go through transit without luggage from the check-in hall.

There may be a small queue at the screening, but at domestic flights if a crowd is detected, you can try to go through the corridor for transfer passengers (“Transit without luggage”) with a dedicated screening area (for this you need to go to the baggage claim area, telling the guard that you are in the KNB, then turn left, go up and go through the gallery towards arriving). By the way, about luggage: upon arrival, you can check on the monitors and put your suitcases on the tape. This is not the case at other airports.

Where to eat at Vnukovo airport? Let's start with budget options. Firstly, the information disseminated on the Internet about the ultra-cheap canteen in Terminal D is outdated, this legendary institution has long been closed, but the advantage of Vnukovo lies in its location not in an open field, but in the city. Therefore, within walking distance there are several canteens and cafes.

So, 350 meters from the main entrance to Terminal A there is a cafe at the Vnukovo Hotel (Tsentralnaya st. 2, building 1A) with affordable prices. You need to go there along the forest path, at the beginning of which there is a sign “100 meters”. In fact, it’s not 100, but 222 from him, but don’t be afraid.

The downside of this cafe is that it's open until 8 pm.

At 600 meters from the main entrance (go straight along 1st Reisovaya St., house 4A), on the second floor there is “Dining Room No. 1”. Formally, she also works until 8 pm, but in fact - until the last client, because it is more profitable for the owner who lives in the same house to sell all the cooked food, and not throw it away in the evening (that is, yesterday you will not be fed here). For three hundred rubles you can eat a salad, soup, main course and compote.

Even if you come here and kiss the door, the path will still be not in vain: in the neighboring building there is a cafe-bar "Korona" (the prices here are already higher, they are average city, but still not airport), which is open until midnight, and up to an hour or two. There is also alcohol here. In addition, there is a 24-hour Doner Kebab stall and two 24-hour grocery stores right there, so you won’t die of hunger even if you dock at night.

Grenkipub, owned by "Shokoladnitsa", in Moscow is only in Vnukovo.

At the airport itself, above the check-in area on the third floor, there is a Mu-Mu canteen with traditional Russian food. True, if you like to go to Mu-Mu in Moscow, then Vnukovo may disappoint you with less tasty food and higher prices; in terms of price and quality, in general, not the best the best way. There is also an "Air Buffet": a decent canteen where mid-level airport management eats. Also on departure there is a grill bar Just, Orient Express on the third floor, two pubs and two Potato Crumbs (on the third floor on the right, near Orient Express) and on the second floor on the left, where the boarding gate for domestic flights.

In the sterile zone of domestic flights, that is, after security control, there is a guaranteed edible and inexpensive Burger King, the always empty Shokoladnitsa, as well as the Grenkipub beer restaurant that belongs to it (essentially the same canteen, only with beer). In the sterile area of international flights, there are two "Chocolate Girls", a Heineken bar with a canteen-type cafe in the same room, "Burger King", "Zyu cafe" and "Moo-Moo".

Finding "Chocolate Girl" and "Croutons" is important even if you are not wisely going to fill yourself with beer before the flight. The fact is that next to them there are the only electrical sockets available in the entire waiting room, from which you can charge your phone or laptop (by the way, be prepared for the fact that free Wi-Fi may or may not work). Another outlet lurked forlornly near the toilets. By the way, it makes no sense to stand in line for the toilet near Burger King - in the area of \u200b\u200bexit 15, all the same can be done without a waiting area.

Speaking of toilets. In the public part of the terminal, there is a toilet on the -1st level (where Aeroexpress is) on the left, and on the 1st, 2nd and 3rd levels, all toilets are on the right end of the terminal. The toilet on the left on the 2nd floor (where the boarding gate is) is very small. Strictly speaking, it should generally belong to the zone after passport control, but so far it is in the general zone.

The fact is that now there is no left wing of terminal A with two more check-in islands, and there should be three more toilets on each level on the left. But the wing has not yet been built, so there are not enough toilets on the left side of the public area.

In the sterile MVL zone, there are toilets near gates 11, 12 and between 14 and 15. In the sterile MVL zone, there are toilets near gates 30, 25, 24 and between 22 and 21.

Hidden among the shops is an inconspicuous entrance to the Rachmaninov Business Lounge for Priority Pass, which is expected to be few people. There are even fewer people in the Prokofiev Business Hall. Both there and there there is a modest but sufficient selection of hot food and snacks; from alcohol only beer is free. There are also reclining areas. However, to sleep, you can go to a capsule hotel: it is available both in the public (above the departure zone) and in the clean zone (near the business lounge).

And since we are talking about stores: in inner zone all of them have the word Duty in their names for a reason, which should hint to an inexperienced passenger from the regions to shops duty free duty-free. Of course, in fact, there is no duty-free trade, stores operate according to the Duty-Paid concept: the same operator as Duty-Free, approximately the same assortment, but the customs duty has been paid. That is, all these clothes, toys and perfumes are sold at traditional airport prices, that is, slightly higher than the average market prices.

The airport terminal complex consists of three passenger terminals, which are marked with the letters A, B and D. The VIP hall is located in a separate building.
Check-in counters are assigned to airlines, next to them are representative offices of all major companies.
For transit passengers there is a separate corridor "Transit without luggage".
The peculiarity of the airport: unloading luggage and feeding it to the tape can be observed on the scoreboard in the halls.

Terminal BUT works with domestic and domestic flights.
You can enter the terminal from the Aeroexpress underground station or through the arrivals area from ground level.
On the ground floor there are entrance and exit from the ground level, and baggage claim halls.
To check in for a flight, you need to go up to the second floor of the terminal, where the check-in counters are located, passport control, boarding gates, entrance from the overpass.
On the third floor of the terminal there is a VIP lounge, airline offices, a business lounge for international lines, and a variety of cafes.

Terminal AT works with charter flights and scheduled international flights.
Terminal B can only be entered from ground level. There is no entrance to the terminal from the flyover.
On the first floor of the terminal there are customs control and check-in desks.
On the second floor of the terminal are passport control and access to the lounges and boarding gates.

Terminal D at present, it is partially not operated, it only works to receive domestic flights from the cities of the North Caucasus region.
Both entering and exiting the terminal D carried out only through the terminal b.
On the first floor of the terminal there are offices of airlines, a souvenir shop.
On the second floor there is a cafe and a room for mother and child.

The airport VIP lounge is located in a separate building.
It can serve all passengers, if desired, regardless of the terminals of departure and arrival.

About the airport

Vnukovo International Airport (VKO, ICAO: UUWW) is one of the main airports in Russia. It ranks fourth in terms of passenger traffic in the country. The airport terminals are located on an area of 270,000 sq.m.

The Vnukovo-2 terminal is used for special flights of the government and leaders of other countries. Vnukovo-3 terminals are used for special flights of the Moscow government, Roscosmos and business aviation.

In 2006, the airport received the highest, third level of coordination according to the IATA classification, which indicates the high level of the airport itself and the professionalism of its employees. On the runways of the airport, it is possible to provide up to 45 takeoffs or landings per hour.

Terminal-A has several levels. The third ground level of the terminal is used for check-in of departing passengers; the upper level of the flyover is attached to it. The fourth ground level of the terminal is allocated for VIP passengers, where VIP lounges and meeting rooms are provided.

Vnukovo terminal - A, arrivals level.

The first and second ground levels of the terminal are dedicated to the arrivals area, while the second provides a transit office. The baggage claim area is located on the first floor.

Vnukovo terminal - A, Aeroexpress station.

Lower level (underground) - exit to railway station Aeroexpress. There are also left-luggage offices, operational check-in desks for passengers arriving from the Kievsky railway station to Vnukovo airport by Aeroexpress.

Special conditions in new terminal-A designed for passengers with disabilities. In all halls, the “smooth floor” system is implemented to the maximum.

Terminal-A of Vnukovo airport divided into two zones - domestic and international flights. Thus, a passenger arriving at Vnukovo Airport on a foreign flight and following in transit across the Russian Federation has the advantage of an intra-terminal short connection.
