Highway transport routes. New route network "Magistral": answering questions

More than three dozen new city bus routes are preparing to open this year in Moscow. The plans of the capital's transport workers for the coming months will not let passengers get bored. For many directions, it is still necessary to select carriers and conclude state contracts with them. For the rest of the novelties, Mosgortrans will be responsible.

"New model": everything according to the old rules?

The largest number of route openings is expected in August-October 2018, when carriers selected on the basis of competitions will be able to start working. A little over two years after the auctions for the maintenance of 211 routes along, there is a need to close the gaps in the coverage of several more directions. They can be conditionally divided into four groups - "correcting mistakes", "new social", "New Moscow" and "new connections".

On December 28, 2017, the Moscow Government signed Decree No. 763-RP "On the conclusion of long-term state contracts for the provision of public transport services on routes regular transportation passengers and baggage by car in urban communication. An additional 8.88 billion rubles have been allocated for these purposes over the next five years. (2018 - 608.53 million rubles, 2019 - 1,723 million rubles, 2020 - 1,762 million rubles, 2021 - 1,747 million rubles, 2022 - 1,820 million rubles and 2023 - RUB 1,220 million). It is these amounts that the State Institution "Organizer of Transportation" under the leadership of the Moscow Department of Transport will be able to operate by announcing auctions for the right to service new routes.

Like last time, carriers on the routes will work for five years. To be more precise, the provision of services by them should end in 2,009 calendar days from the date of the conclusion of the state contract. At the same time, they must enter the route no later than six months after signing this document and then carry out transportation within 1,826 days. It is planned to play 29 routes between carriers, on which 197 buses will operate (145 large, 18 medium and 34 small class).

First of all, they decided to carry out “work on the mistakes”. The first five competitions of the "one route" were announced the very next day after the signing of the above order - December 29, 2017. The remaining 24 routes were distributed among three competitive proposals announced on January 30, 2018.

The maximum initial price of contracts for all eight purchases announced by the Organizer of Transportation in December-January is 7.646 billion rubles. Even more than a billion rubles, allocated under the same order, is still “in reserve”.

"Working on bugs"

Not in all directions, after the launch of 211 routes according to the rules and the subsequent cancellation of "minibuses", it was possible to eliminate the shortage of transportation capacity. In some places, "squeezing" the maximum number of flights out of the possibilities of existing contracts was used (an increase in traffic by 10%). Somewhere the routes were modified up to the transfer to other parts of the city, somewhere Mosgortrans was called in for help. And still there were areas in which it was necessary to think about opening additional routes. Which, however, in many ways are very reminiscent of the old ones. This group includes seven routes.

Route № 333 prepared in support of the route № 330 "Ulitsa Fedosino - Metro "Yasenevo"" on the busiest section from the Novoperedelkino district to the nearest metro station along its route. In addition, it will allow you to quickly get from Novoperedelkino to Yugo-Zapadnaya, as it follows without stopping at the Solntsev microdistricts along the streets of Aviators, Volynskaya and the 50th anniversary of October, and will go straight along Borovskoye highway.

Route № 324 on the section from the 2nd Mosfilmovsky lane to the Kievsky railway station will unload the route № 320 , with which here it completely coincides on the track, being its semi-express variant. However, the new route will be longer, reaching the Park Pobedy metro station.

Route № 580 combines two problem areas served by routes No. 51k and 410 .

The letter "k" in the route number No. 456k not deceiving - it's really just a shortened version of the route № 456 (from the Mitino area to the middle of Leningradsky Prospekt). Route No. 551k not so simple: it will strengthen the route № 551 on the middle section of the route, but its final ones are somewhat away from the line of the "old" route.

Two new routes №№ 449 and 974 ) until the summer of 2016, they worked quite successfully in a different format - as “minibuses” No. 249m and 274m. To the misfortune of the passengers, they passed to the “pilot area” of Izmailovo, where, during the implementation of the transport reform, they tried to get by with the forces of one “Mosgortrans”, at a minimum compensating for the unique transport links that it did not serve.

Routes Nos. 324, 333, 456k, 551k, 580 are additions to routes Nos. 51k, 320, 330, 410, 456, 551. In order to put things in order with transportation on the sections of their joint route, it would be nice in 2021 (after the expiration of the contracts concluded in 2015-2016) to re-calculate the need for transportation and revise the route routes. But new contracts are also planned to be concluded for the "traditional" five years. This means that in three years contractual obligations will not allow to form optimal routes"from scratch".

"New Social"

Several routes with sometimes intricate routes will be opened for communication local residents with social facilities (polyclinics, centers for the provision of public services, and others). They will continue the line With”-routes, which after last year's changes, there are already 12, and by the end of this year there will be at least one and a half times more. The prescribed number of buses for them should be enough to provide "social" traffic intervals - every 20-30 minutes.

Another "social" route will open in New Moscow.

"New Moscow"

The road infrastructure received from the Moscow Region turned out to be so cumbersome and lagging behind the capital's standards that even five years later, not everyone managed to improve it. If cars have got the hang of driving on roads even with a temporary gravel coating, then regular bus transport do not run under these conditions.

This was partly the reason why the city "minibuses" remained in New Moscow - after they were canceled in "old Moscow" and Zelenograd. And the inhabitants of the villages of Evseevo and Kuvekino still remember how in the “regional” times a “minibus” went from them to Vatutinki and the Tyoply Stan metro station. As it turned out later, she worked without the necessary permits. But “by all the rules” it was not possible to organize a new route: it is necessary to reconstruct and expand several kilometers of a not very strategically important road. Nothing will change in transport accessibility these villages in 2018. But it's good for others.

For the first time in history bus service get several settlements Ryazanovskoe settlements. Buses will also reach Promyshlennaya Street on the outskirts of Troitsk, as well as to the nearby village of Puchkovo. The village of Shelomovo will be connected to the village of Kyiv and the Bekasovo-1 and Bekasovo-Sortirovochnoe stations. Commercial minibuses connecting Yugo-Zapadnaya metro station, Moskovsky, pos. Mosrentgen and South Butovo with shopping center"MEGA Teply Stan" will be replaced by large-class buses operating according to the approved city tariff menu.

Along the route No. C18 bus traffic was organized before the competition, extending the route for this purpose № 891 "Metro "Teply Stan" - Novovatutinsky prospekt." On its old route, part of the buses continued to work under No. 891k. After opening the route No. C18 route № 891 will be able to straighten, connecting the village. Vatutinki with "Teply Stan" without a stop in the microdistrict. New Vatutinki.

Apparently, simultaneously with the opening of regular fare routes in New Moscow №№ 306, 307, 308, 446, 485, 953, 967 similar "minibuses" will stop working №№ 22, 50, 46, 1011, 953, 967 . Less clear is the fate of the routes №№ 53, 522, 548, 885, 894 as well as №№ 1, 2, 4 in the area of Shcherbinka station, because they are not repeated by either the existing or planned Moscow city routes at regulated rates.

The metro is still being dug, and the routes have already been drawn

The number of Moscow metro stations will certainly increase this year. But information about changing routes public transport will be made public closer to the opening dates of the new lines. Nevertheless, two changes in the operation of city routes are planned, taking into account the unfinished Okruzhnaya metro station, which, according to optimistic forecasts, will be launched this spring.

Route No. 24k"VDNH Hotels - Metro Maryina Roshcha" in the direction of Maryina Roshcha will leave the hotels along the planned passage 1564A and Gostinichny proezd, where the Okruzhnaya metro stop is planned, then leaving for Gostinichnaya Street and then on its usual route.

A bus route No. 677k will not remain at the metro stations and MCC "Vladykino", reduced to the Okruzhnaya station. However, the turn will be made along the new route - through Lokomotivny pr., Stantsionnaya st., Gostinichny pr., Gostinichnaya st., Station st. with the introduction of the stop "Metro "Okruzhnaya"".

It is possible that a change in the trolleybus route will also be timed to coincide with the opening of the metro. № 36 "VDNKh (southern entrance) - Beskudnikovsky lane". Its route should go along Dmitrovskoye Highway to the final stop "Dmitrovskoye Highway, 155". At the same time, he will leave Seligerskaya Street and Beskudnikovsky lane with a boulevard. At the end of the year, it is planned to produce electric buses for this direction, and the infrastructure for its maintenance is being prepared taking into account the new route.

First electric bus routes

Started by Mosgortrans, with a positive pace of development, should be crowned with the appearance of the first passenger lines serviced by a completely new type of rolling stock. According to the calendar schedule for the delivery of new equipment in September-November 2018, serial samples should arrive in Moscow, and total operating electric buses by the end of the year should reach 300 units.

AT tender documentation you can find the numbers of 20 routes that are going to be served by electric buses already in 2018. Taking into account their routes, the installation locations of charging stations for ultra-fast charging were also determined.

Eight such routes are now trolleybus:

  • № 7 "Metro "Park Pobedy" - Cinema "Udarnik"";
  • No. 34k"St. Kravchenko - Kyiv railway station»;
  • № 36 "VDNKh (southern) - Dmitrovskoe shosse, 155";
  • № 42 "Rizhsky railway station - Metro "Dynamo"";

Twelve more - bus, but four of them were previously served by trolleybuses:

  • B"Garden Ring" (internal);
  • B"Garden Ring" (external).

Trolleybuses or buses?

The Moscow Department of Transport approved changes to the register of city regular transportation routes, according to which trolleybus transportation should be replaced by buses in several directions. There is no urgent technical need for this, because the installation of the contact network, provided for by the reconstruction project, continues on Tverskaya Zastava Square.

In addition to the routes extended at the beginning of autumn, trolleybus routes №№ 20 "Silver Forest - Belorussky railway station», 70 "Brattsevo - Belorussky railway station", 82 "Hospital of the Ministry of Railways - Belorussky Station" and 56 Bazovskaya Street - 2nd Lesnoy Lane will also be able to reach Tverskaya Zastava without changing the mode of transport. Recoverable contact network will also allow the resumption of trolleybus service on the route № 18 . However, whether trolleybuses will run along Tverskaya Zastava is still unknown.

The feasibility of extending the route № 82 to the Tverskaya Zastava in general raises questions. At one time, it was organized as a replacement for the tram line removed from Leningradsky Prospekt and 1st Botkinsky Proezd. The connection of the area adjacent to the Botkin hospital with Leningradsky Prospekt according to the conditions traffic possible only with a drawn-out U-turn under the Tver overpass. To increase this race by an extra kilometer with several traffic lights on the way will only worsen the conditions for the transportation of passengers, for the sake of which the route appeared at the time. At the same time, the connection between Tverskaya Zastava and Leningradsky Prospekt and the beginning of the Volokolamskoye Highway is provided by routes №№ m1, H1, 456, 904, 904k, which can also be joined by the route No. 70 (T70).

Echoes of "My Street"

The bus route should start operating in April № 216 "Luzhniki Stadium (southern) - Metro" Krasnopresnenskaya "". Its route will pass along the embankments of the Moskva River, reconstructed in 2017, taking into account the organization of regular passenger traffic. Buses will proceed along Novoluzhnetsky pr., Luzhnetskaya and Frunzenskaya emb., st. Khamovnichesky shaft, Luzhnetsky and Novodevichy pr., Savvinskaya, Rostovskaya, Smolenskaya and Krasnopresnenskaya embankments, pl. Free Russia, Konyushkovskaya st. and st. Zamorenova. It is planned to operate four buses of medium and large class on the route. Passengers will be received by new stops Novodevichy Cemetery, Novodevichy Convent, Novodevichy Pr., Savvinskaya Embankment, Moskovsky Silk, 2nd Per. Truzhenikov, Bogdan Khmelnitsky Bridge, Smolenskaya Embankment and Novoarbatsky Bridge.

More routes for MCC

In the coming weeks, with a high probability, an end will be put to the issue of transporting passengers to the Likhobory MCC station. The new access road (Projected passage No. 490) was in a high degree of readiness in the autumn of 2016. However, until now the movement of buses on it has not been organized. In the year and a half that has passed since the inclusion of bus routes to the Likhobory station in the city register, one of them managed to change the number without working even a day. "virtual" route No. 123k"Metro "Petrovsko-Razumovskaya" - St. Likhobory” was assigned № 323 , under which he will start working. It will pass along Lokomotivny pr., st. Oktyabrskaya lines railway, Bolshaya Akademicheskaya st., 4th Novomikhalkovskiy pr. and Projected passage No. 490.

From the stop "NAMI" should move to the station Likhobory and terminus bus routes №№ 22 "St. March 8 - US "and 139 "Metro "Water Stadium" - NAMI".

Restored from December 26, 2017 after the opening of the reconstructed Belokamenny overpass bus route № 75 still does not call at the stop "Station Belokamennaya" provided for by the register between the stops "Training Center of the Ministry of Health" and "Yauzskaya Alley". Unlike Likhobor, there are no positive developments in the construction of an access road to the MCC station.

One can only guess whether another "frozen" route connected with the MCC will start operating this year - № 47 "Metro "Technopark" - Station ZIL". Road construction in the area of the built-up area of ZIL is quite active. But whether everything is ready for the launch of buses here, only time will tell.

Two more routes long approved by the Moscow Department of Transport could improve communication with the MCC stations Rokossovsky Bulvar and Lokomotiv. Their non-work can only be explained by organizational reasons of the carrier - for example, a lack of buses or drivers. The road conditions on their routes do not cause any complaints: on any of the roads they use, other public transport is already running.

The first one is the route № 783 "Kamchatskaya street - Metro" Rokossovsky Boulevard "". Its route will pass along Khabarovsk, Baikal and Irkutskaya streets, 2nd Irtysh passage, Montazhnaya street, st. Nikolai Khimushin, Tagilskaya st., Otkrytomu sh. and Ivanteevskaya st. 10 buses of the State Unitary Enterprise "Mosgortrans" of a large class should work here.

The second is a semi-express bus route № 941 "Kamchatskaya street - Metro" Preobrazhenskaya square "", which is planned to walk along Khabarovskaya st., Schelkovsky sh. and Bolshoi Cherkizovskaya st. with intermediate stops "Khabarovskaya street, 20", "Altaiskaya street", "Baikalskaya street", "Khabarovskaya street", "Shchelkovskaya metro station", "Kaloshino", "PO Sokol", "Cherkizovskaya metro station" and "Khalturinskaya street". 16 Mosgortrans buses of large and extra-large classes should go on the route.

From Tverskaya Zastava to Kurkino

Extended last year to Tverskaya Zastava bus route № 905 according to previously approved plans, it should last beyond the Moscow Ring Road. Instead of the terminal station built at the time “in an open field” in the area of the 75th kilometer of the Moscow Ring Road, it will reach the Kurkino residential area. The new section of the route will run along Leningradskoe shosse, MKAD, Projected passage No. 6699, Novokurkinskoe shosse. and Sokolovo-Meshcherskaya st. Here, the semi-express route will follow with all stops along the route, while on Leningradskoye Shosse and Leningradsky Prospekt, buses take and drop off passengers only at key stops.

How long can you wait for changes?

For twenty-nine new routes, which are now being contested, the carriers have not yet been identified, and this information is not included in the city's route register. That is why passengers are not yet able to use them. It is necessary to wait for the completion of the competitive selection, the conclusion of the state contract and the fulfillment of the preparatory conditions stipulated by it.

The situation is different with approved routes, for which the carrier has long been known, and this is Mosgortrans State Unitary Enterprise. A whole group of routes either work on old routes, which the registry has already abandoned, or do not work at all (routes №№ 783, 941 ).

Back in 2016, changes were made to bus routes №№ 76 and 803 in the area of the VDNKh metro station, which would bring the stops closer to the lobby of the VDNKh metro station. Instead of the final station "VDNKh (northern)", the register of routes for them provides for a new terminal on Kosmonavtov Street. And instead of Longitudinal passage, Ostankinsky passage and Prospect Mira are included in the route. In fact, for almost two years, Mosgortrans has been ignoring the routes established by the registry, and passengers have not received the promised and desired service in many directions.

Meanwhile, the route register should reflect up-to-date information on existing regular transportation routes. From the moment the changes are approved (or the announced date the changes come into force), carriers are required to work according to the new parameters. And to indicate intentions and long-term plans, there is a provided concept of planning documents for regular transportation. With its help, you can resolve all possible conflicts between long-term plans and the current route network, indicating the timing of the planned changes and the necessary procedures for the start of transportation.

However, Moscow, unlike other regions, has not yet mastered this format. As a result, it is extremely difficult to figure out where the carriers themselves drive with violations of the routes, working according to the old schemes, and where, on the contrary, the bold plans of the Department are not supported by the necessary road conditions. Only one thing remains clear: passengers in many directions do not have the opportunity to use routes that exist only “on paper”.

Among the routes of the Moscow tram, the register of city routes also plans changes, about which TR. en. The exact dates have not yet been announced, and in general it is not known whether they will fall in 2018.

On Saturday, October 8, 2016, a new network of ground transport routes "Magistral" was launched in the center of Moscow. Buses have returned to the streets for the first time, where urban traffic has not been carried since the 1990s. Thanks to the introduction of new dedicated lanes and the changes in the organization of traffic, the speed of land transport has increased significantly.

The Magistral network will provide regular communication to almost all sections of the major streets of the center. In the center of Moscow, 24 new stopping points, 12 of which are located on streets where public transport has not run since the 1990s. After 20 years, land transport returned to sections of Bolshaya Nikitskaya and Sadovnicheskaya streets. Also, the movement of urban transport along Malaya Dmitrovka Street was again organized.

The total number of rolling stock in the center of Moscow increased by 40% with the commissioning of the Magistral network. In total, 370 buses, trolleybuses and trams run daily on the routes inside the Garden Ring. The average interval of movement on the routes has been reduced by 2 times (from 16 to 8 minutes). It is expected that within 2 years the passenger traffic of ground transport in the center of Moscow will increase by 2-3 times and reach 1 million people a day. This will allow removing up to 20% of the load from the busiest metro stations and transfer hubs inside the Circle Line.

For the convenience of Muscovites, route routes have been optimized, and changes have been made to route numbering. The new trunk routes, running during the day at intervals of 5–10 minutes, received the designation "m" in front of the digit of the number. Thus, the route "m1", passing from Kravchenko Street to the Hospital of the Ministry of Railways, forms a stable transport connection of two important city highways: Leninsky Prospekt and Tverskaya Street. Next to the new number on the route and stop signs, for the first time, the previous route number will also be indicated.

Signs at public transport stops have become more attractive and informative for passengers. By the launch of Magistral in the center of Moscow, they have been completely updated. At all stop pavilions along the routes following the routes, a new scheme for the movement of routes in the city center has been placed.

A map of route changes has been published on the Unified Transport Portal. Passengers can also get a prompt response to all their questions at the Moscow Transport contact center by calling + 7495-539-5454 or 3210 (when calling from a mobile phone).

To develop the Magistral network in the Moscow Transport Complex, a working group was created, which included Russian and international experts. When planning routes, population density, concentration of jobs, passenger traffic on existing routes and metro stations were taken into account. The working group carried out an in-depth analysis of the correspondence matrix based on a large amount of accumulated data.

The opportunity to launch a new network of routes appeared due to the changes in the organization of traffic as part of the My Street improvement program. On the streets of the Kremlin Ring (Teatralny Proyezd, Okhotny Ryad, Mokhovaya Street, Borovitskaya Square), an oncoming dedicated lane has appeared, new U-turns are being introduced on Lubyanskaya and Slavyanskaya Squares, and on the Garden Ring - direct intersections only for public transport. Six new dedicated lanes and new infrastructure will make land transport stable and convenient for everyday travel.

“The experience of the world's leading capitals shows that even with dense coverage of the central part of the city by the metro network, surface transport plays a key role in the movement of residents. Since in Moscow more than a third of urban areas inside the Garden Ring are beyond comfortable walking distance from the metro, Muscovites need regular ground transport. The new Magistral network will become a worthy alternative to traveling by metro in the center of Moscow. It will become much more convenient and faster to move around the center with the help of land transport,” commented Maxim Liksutov, Deputy Mayor of Moscow in the Moscow Government, Head of the Moscow Department of Transport and Road Infrastructure Development.

Ground transport in Moscow. The new network of bus routes will allow passengers to easily move between the center and the outskirts, using only land transport. At the same time, a number of old routes will change, so you need to familiarize yourself with the Magistral traffic scheme in advance.

For example, using "Magistral", you can come from a sleeping area to the business center, move to another part of the center of Moscow to meet friends or visit cultural event and then return home - and all this by land transport.

Moscow authorities expect that thanks to the launch transport system"Magistral" by 2017 will increase passenger traffic on land transport, which will become more reliable and convenient: buses and trolleybuses will run at a predictable interval of 5-10 minutes, routes will become more comfortable.

How to use MCC>>

New routes

In total, 39 bus and trolleybus routes will be organized and changed, and 24 new stops will be added.

Routes of the "Magistrali" will contain the letter "M" in the name. M1 will run along Leningradsky Prospekt, M2 - along Kutuzovsky, M3 - along Komsomolsky, M4 - along Leninsky, M5 and M6 - along Varshavsky, M7 - along Ryazansky, M8 - along Entuziastov Highway and M9 - along Mira Avenue.

In addition to the existing ones, 24 new stops are being introduced in the center of Moscow, 12 of which are located in areas where public transport has not run since the 90s.

Three new types of routes will appear in Moscow: main, regional and social.

Trunk routes will be the main and longest. They will connect remote areas of the capital both with the center and with each other. In particular, the routes will connect Leninsky and Leningradsky avenues, the Luzhniki stadium and the Semenovskaya metro station, the Vladykino and Kitai-Gorod metro stations. Movement intervals will be 5 - 10 minutes.

District routes will be shorter - they will connect the sleeping areas with the center. Passengers will be able to easily get to the main routes or make small trips on them. Movement intervals - 10-15 minutes.

Social routes will allow Muscovites to quickly get to the My Documents centers, polyclinics, multifunctional centers and other socially significant places. Intervals of movement - up to 30 minutes.

Which routes will change

In addition to new bus routes, a number of existing ones are being changed. Some existing routes have been renamed and “straightened”, for example, trolleybus route No. 62 (Udarnik cinema - Leninsky Prospekt) has become M4, bus number 6 has become M6 (previously it moved along Vozdvizhenka in one direction, and along Gogolevsky Boulevard in the other , will now walk back and forth along the same streets).

In the area of Dolgorukovskaya and Barrikadnaya streets, through traffic will appear through the Garden Ring. Buses used to go there, turn around, go back (now they will just go straight).

In addition, the movement of express routes No. 144 and 904, as well as night routes H1 - H6, will change. And that's not counting brand new bus routes.

Details of all the changes in the movement of ground transport in Moscow can be found on the schemes "Magistral".

"Highway" schemes

Route maps within the Magistral network will appear at all public transport stops in the center of Moscow, and will also be displayed in the Yandex.Transport service and mobile application.

In addition, new stop flags, maps and stencils have been developed for the launch of Magistral. For the first time, for the convenience of passengers, old and new route numbers will be displayed on stencils, trunk lines will be marked with thick multi-colored lines.

Fare

More than 100 new modern buses with soft seats and air conditioning will run on the new routes of the Magistral network. The same tickets will be valid for travel on buses as in other types of ground transport in Moscow, including Troika cards.

Benefits and prospects

When developing a new transport system, three main criteria were taken into account:

The routes will run where passengers need them most, in densely populated residential areas and in the center of the capital;

Stops are organized as far as possible from a large number shopping, cultural and business centers so that passengers can reach them on foot;

Linearity and symmetry: routes are organized without loops and deviations, while stops are located on both sides of the road, with the possibility of crossing.

According to the press service of the Moscow City Hall, new routes and stops will gradually be included in the Magistral scheme. At the same time, new dedicated lanes for surface urban transport will appear, and road markings will be improved. The last phase of the Magistral network will be launched in 2017.

“People are getting used to bus routes, and their global reform is fraught with great inconvenience for passengers. The fact that ground transport is waiting for serious changes, the capital's officials started talking just the other day, and they intend to launch the "Magistral" on Saturday. Meanwhile, the biggest problems for passengers, such as being late for work and other troubles, may arise on Monday, when the Magistral will start operating in full force", - says the coordinator of the movement "Society of blue buckets" Petr Shkumatov.

From October 8, new ground routes under the general name "Magistral" will be launched in the capital. These buses, trolleybuses and trams will travel through the center of Moscow and the main city streets. The city department of transport explained why this is necessary and how we will use the novelty.

We realized that it is necessary to create not only beautiful paving, convenient pedestrian infrastructure, but also high-quality infrastructure for urban transport passengers, - said Alina Bisembayeva, Deputy Head of the Moscow Department of Transport and Road Infrastructure Development. - In the new traffic pattern, the routes got rid of the "rings" and "loops". It is clearer to people when the traffic moves in a straight line from point A to point B and when the route of movement in one direction coincides with the route in the other direction.

As promised in the Department of Transport of Moscow, thanks to the innovation, public transport in the center will go twice as often. The average traffic interval will be reduced from 16 to 8 minutes. Let's see what else passengers can expect.

NUMBERS CHANGE

New routes will be divided into three parts - main, district and social (see table).

1. Trunk.

They will be the main ones - the longest and fastest. The interval of movement is 5 - 10 minutes. They will connect several districts of Moscow with the center and with each other at once. For example, Leninsky with Leningradsky Prospekt, Luzhniki and Semenovskaya metro station, Nagatinskaya and Polezhaevskaya metro stations. The numbers of these routes will be marked with the letter "m". Some of them will be new, while others will simply be renamed. For example, trolleybus No. 62 from Udarnik along Leninsky Prospekt will now be designated "m4". If you see "m" on the windshield of the bus, then this route will not have to wait long. He walks often.

2. District.

They will be made short and not as fast as the main ones. The interval of movement is 10 - 15 minutes. They are needed to connect the metropolitan outskirts with the center. On them it is easy to get to the main route or to make short trip. For example, trolleybus No. 79, which runs from Savelovsky Station to Luzhniki and back, will now become a district bus.

3. Social.

The interval of movement is up to 30 minutes. On these buses and trolleybuses, it will be possible to get to the right places - My Documents public service centers, clinics, passport offices, bank branches, and post offices. This, for example, will be the route of bus number 122, which runs from the Sokolniki metro station to Lubyanka Square and back.

ATTENTION!

In the table, we have indicated all the routes that are included in the "Magistral" transport scheme. Somewhere the numbers have changed, somewhere not. The main thing is that the routes have changed - the end points are indicated in brackets.

So that Muscovites do not get confused in additional routes and replacements, for the first few months buses, trolleybuses and trams will run under two numbers - new and old. At stops, special flags with route designations will be placed. And on the plates on the windshield, they will draw both old and new route numbers. In addition, cards with all lines will be posted in the salon. In addition, at each stop in the center, you can see the traffic pattern with all the stops.

The letter "m" denotes the so-called trunk routes. These are the longest and fastest lines with an interval of 5 - 10 minutes. Each main route is painted in the color of the metro line, near the stations of which it most often stops. For example, the M4 bus is marked in orange on the Kaluzhsko-Rizhskaya line. On this branch, he approaches the stations "Oktyabrskaya" and "Leninsky Prospekt".

Routes with a traffic interval of 10 - 15 minutes are marked in blue.

Routes with an interval of up to 30 minutes are marked in pink.

Tram lines are shown in black.

TWO ANNUSHKA WILL APPEAR ON THE BULEVARD RING

New route"A" will go along the Boulevard Ring. But it will not be a tram, as it is now, but a bus. Recall that the tram "A" is already running along the eastern part of the Boulevard Ring - from Kaluga to Chistye Prudy. Muscovites call him "Annushka". And the new main bus route "A" will be launched along the western part of the Boulevard Ring. He will travel from the area of three stations to Luzhniki.

TROLLEYBUSES WILL BE RUNNING BY THE MINUTE

With the new routes, the ground transits to the clock schedule. That is, buses, trolleybuses and trams will run by the minute. If a bus that runs every 8 minutes has left in front of your nose, then the next one should arrive in 8 minutes. Although most likely this schedule will “break” at the first traffic jam. But in this case, there is a way out. With the help of electronic displays at stops and mobile application"Yandex. Transport” you can find out where in reality the right bus or trolleybus is now, whether it is worth waiting for it at the bus stop.

THROUGH THE GARDEN RING

Some old routes will be straightened out. In the area of Dolgorukovskaya and Barrikadnaya streets, through traffic will appear through the Garden Ring. Previously, buses needed at least 15-20 minutes for a complex maneuver. For example, near Barrikadnaya Street, bus No. 39 first left for Sadovoye, then turned around there, drove back along the ring and went further along the route to Bolshaya Nikitskaya Street. Now the bus will immediately go straight through the ring.

And on some streets in the center of Moscow, the ground will reappear after many years. According to Alina Bisembayeva, for the first time since the early 1990s, land transport will return to sections of Bolshaya Nikitskaya and Sadovnicheskaya streets. There has been no public transport here for over 20 years.

NIGHT BUSES TO BE ASSEMBLED TO THE TRANSFER HUB

For six night routes, they will also arrange a reboot. Recall that they run from midnight to 5.30 in the morning. Now buses n1, n2, n3, n4, n5 and n6 will be assembled into a single interchange hub on Slavyanskaya Square, near the Kitay-gorod metro station. They will come here at night every 30 minutes. Passengers who have been on a spree will be able to transfer from one bus to another and take a bus to the outskirts of the city - to Novokosino, Lyublino, Golyanovo and other areas. The rest of the round-the-clock routes will operate according to the usual schedule.

BY THE WAY

There will be more lanes

From October 8, six new dedicated lanes will appear in the city center. Buses and trolleybuses will be allowed through a section of the Kremlin Ring, two through passages on the Garden Ring, Taganskaya Street, Vozdvizhenka and a section of Malaya Dmitrovka to Strastnoy Boulevard. It looks like this:

1. A dedicated line on the Kremlin Ring will be launched on the extreme left side of the road. Public transport will go towards cars - from Lubyanka Square along Teatralny Proyezd, Okhotny Ryad, Mokhovaya and Borovitskaya Square. AT reverse side ground goes in the general stream. From Borovitskaya Square, a dedicated lane passes through Bolshoi Kamenny and Maly Kamenny bridges, Serafimovicha Street. Further, buses and trolleybuses will go along the dedicated line on Bolshaya Yakimanka, turn onto Leninsky Prospekt and go to the Moscow Ring Road.

The oncoming dedicated line on the Kremlin Ring will reduce travel time to 45 minutes, and will also relieve Kitaigorodsky passage and embankments.

2. Two through passages on the Garden Ring will “straighten out” six existing ground routes. All of them will now run over the ring without winding around it. Trolleybuses No. 3 and No. 47 will be able to go directly from Dolgorukovskaya Street to Malaya Dmitrovka. And trolleybus No. 79 and buses No. 6, 39 and 64 will also go directly from Bolshaya Nikitskaya to Barrikadnaya.

3. On a dedicated line on Taganskaya Street, 2.3 kilometers long, the ground will go from Taganskaya Square in the same direction as cars - towards the region. In the direction of the center, the lane for public transport is already working.

4. There is one-way traffic on Vozdvizhenka towards Novy Arbat. Buses and trolleybuses will travel along a dedicated line in the same direction as cars.

5. On Malaya Dmitrovka, a lane for public transport will appear on the section from Nastasinsky Lane to Strastnoy Boulevard.

FEEDBACK

Muscovites can send their questions, suggestions and wishes on new ground routes through Moscow Transport or by e-mail -

Yesterday, unexpectedly, on the official website of the mayor's office, it was about restarting the entire surface transport network of the city. It has been named "Magistral" and promises to create a miracle: transport will run twice as often, there will be more buses, trolleybuses and trams, Muscovites will be able to plan their routes and move around the city more conveniently.

The project divides the routes into three types: trunk routes, which will be able to travel long distances - from Kitai-Gorod to Vladykino, for example; social - up to polyclinics and passport offices, as well as district, providing connectivity within the districts. The most popular routes have been straightened out to increase traffic speeds and shorten intervals. Lubyanka will become the main transfer point of the network: here you can transfer from any main bus (the number is marked with the letter M) to the one you need.

The project is theoretically revolutionary: the distance between our metro stations reaches more than one and a half kilometers, and now, instead of a 20-minute walk, it will be possible to get to your destination in 5 minutes by bus. Transport will cover some new areas; buses that used to go round the Kremlin will no longer do this - special corridors have been allocated for them; a trolleybus line will appear, say, on Bolshaya Nikitskaya. However, Afisha Daily still had questions to the project, which she addressed to the experts.

Why is all this done?

Mikhail Blinkin

Director of the Institute of Transport and Transport Policy of the Higher School of Economics

“The possibilities of transport policy are determined by a simple thing: how much asphalt in the city and how many cars? Divide one by the other. If one car has a lot of asphalt, as in Boston or Philadelphia, then there is a freedom of transport policy. We can not do it at all: let them drive as they want, and leave public transport for the elderly and children as an auxiliary social service. There is also a European version, where there is less asphalt, and they came up with things of sustainable mobility, public transport, a pedestrian environment; it's all beautifully stated in books and laws. Our asphalt is laid according to Soviet layouts, and cars began to appear much later, in the 1990s - one overlapped the other, and as a result, there is critically little asphalt per car in Moscow.

Stimulating travel by public transport is good, but the main thing is to get new passengers. The whip is parking rates: car ownership is getting more expensive, that's right. An alternative is needed: this is why public transport is being made more attractive. It is in this direction that we need to go further - to make public transport more privileged, even more comfortable.

As for the terrestrial network, its main formats were set by the planning decisions of the 1970s - there have been no major reforms in 50 years, something was added and something was taken away, but, in principle, little has changed. And now there are major changes. There will be, for example, a metrobus - privileged public transport. Without going down the subway, it will be possible to travel long distances. Development will inevitably proceed by trial and error. One route, like the old 144th along Leninsky Prospekt, will not reach Theater Square, as before, but go even further, to Lubyanka. Let's see how the new network will work in the center - from Mokhovaya and Novy Arbat, for example. And maybe it will be good. In any case, the tragedy will not happen. It would be a tragedy if the MCC were not in demand - the rails have already been laid there, and there is nowhere to get away from them.”

How was the work on the "Magistral"?

Alexey Mityaev

adviser to the head of the Department of Transportation, head of the Magistral project

“To design routes, we brought together everyone involved in transport in Moscow: representatives of departments and prefectures, activists, bloggers and international experts with experience in working on route networks. We analyzed population density and concentration of jobs, passenger flows of existing routes and metro stations, transfers during trips, speed and car flows.

For this project, an interactive platform was specially created based on data from the TsODD, Mosgortrans, and the Department of Information Technology, with the help of which it was possible to analyze impersonal information about the movement of citizens around the city. About 1,000 people are involved in the preparation of the Magistral.

As a result, regularly running transport will appear in the city center, which will enable residents of the Central District and passengers who work in the center to get to their destination without going underground and without wasting time on transfers between lines. After the launch of the new route network, the center will have a stable surface transport network for the first time. If now in the center of Moscow transport needs to wait an average of 16 minutes, then after the commissioning of the Magistral, this time will be reduced to 5-8 minutes.

Andrey Karmatsky

CEO of Urbica, which did analytics for Magistral

“We were one of the expert companies - helping colleagues from the Department of Transport with the analysis and visualization of data in the project. One of our approaches is to analyze the available data on the movement of passengers and identify inefficient, problem areas. In the old version of the network, there were routes that, due to the organization of one-way traffic, did not follow optimally. It was inconvenient: you could come to one place (for example, to work), but it didn’t work out in the opposite direction - you had to look for this route on another street. New routes are moving in both directions - due to the opening of a public transport lane on the Kremlin Ring, in particular. The second important improvement: the most popular routes will run more often, which is why they are called trunk routes. As I assume, the authors of the project will continue to monitor the results of the launch and supplement and correct the network, following the same principles.”

Why the main transfer hub on Lubyanka?

Arthur Shahbazyan

Deputy Head of the Traffic Management Center

“Historically, the Lubyanka area has always been distinguished by increased business activity, starting from the 12th century. It was in these places that the road lay that connected Kyiv and Smolensk with the then Vladimir-Suzdal Rus. The transport component of this area of Moscow contributed to the fact that food shops and forges began to appear here. And returning to the question of why Lubyanka was chosen as the center, we can say that Lubyanka and Kitay-Gorod were chosen as points for turning public transport routes due to their convenient location in the center of Moscow. Stops at Lubyanka and Kitay-gorod will provide a comfortable transfer between routes running from the center to the periphery of the capital. Surface transport will be integrated into a single full-fledged network and will become an attractive alternative to the metro and cars.

This project is very important for the city, because it affects not only the center, as one might think, but also remote areas. Many buses connect not only neighboring streets, but also opposite districts of Moscow. For example, the route M1 (former T1), passing through Tverskaya, comes to Gagarin Square and follows further along Leninsky Prospekt. There was no two-way public transport on the Kremlin Ring for decades, causing many buses to travel twice as much just to bypass the Kremlin. The dedicated lane will run along the opposite lane from Lubyanskaya Square to Bolshaya Yakimanka Street. But the movement of public transport in the opposite direction from the Bolshoy Kamenny Bridge to Lubyanka Square will be allowed for the time being in the general stream. Instead of obsolete routes along inconvenient roads, Muscovites will receive a main transport that runs throughout the day at intervals of 5-10 minutes (in metro mode), which will connect the main points of attraction of the city. And thanks to the introduction of a dedicated lane on the Kremlin Ring, for some passengers, the way home will be shorter by 45 minutes.”

What problems remain unresolved?

Anna Shevchenko

architectural reviewer

“Systematization in the conditions of metropolitan chaos is already good, and measures such as optimizing existing routes, introducing a clock schedule, and most importantly, bringing the center closer to the outskirts, cannot but encourage.

Another question is how this system will work. First, routes. All of them are now divided into main, regional and social. But if you look at, for example, the M2 route (Arbat - Kutuzovsky - Fili), designed to connect the highway and the center, it turns out that it has not been brought to the highway itself - Mozhayskoye Highway, so only the name remains from the "mainline". Other lines are also interrupted in the middle, the number of chord connections in the project tends to zero. The second point: in the current situation, even an ideal route will not save you from traffic jams. Only dedicated public transport lanes can solve the problem, which, although they begin to actively appear, often do not work. As long as leased lines are not used exclusively for public transport, the center will not approach the outskirts.

And finally, the question of the efficiency of the clock schedule and the number of rolling stock. After the cancellation of minibuses, Muscovites complain about the increase in the waiting time for buses, but for many this is the only way to get to the nearest metro.”

journalist, land transport patriot

“I basically don’t ride the subway. All my childhood I rode the 9th and 13th trolleybuses: from Ostankino they came to the center - to " Children's world”or Trubnaya Square. I see no reason to change habits, especially since, according to rumors, the subway is rather disgusting.

Yesterday, suddenly, the city government announced a project with a beautiful industrial name "Magistral". The presentation says that this was done in order "to make it easier for passengers to move around in the center." Small lie! The new network does not solve these problems. For example, the smart guys from the Department of Transportation were not smart enough to close the Boulevard Ring with one route. Everyone knows that from Tsvetnoy to Chistye Prudy can only be reached on foot. Why officials did not take this into account - I do not know. Many areas of the center, such as Patriki, Arbat, from Tverskaya to Bolshaya Nikitskaya, are surrounded by roads where transport runs regularly. There is nothing like it in the regions. Pensioners and pioneers - just walk to the bus stops! And there are many such examples. So the main idea of moving in transport in the center - slightly failed: it is clearly visible on the map - gray wastelands between the colored lines. Meanwhile, Muscovites live there. 24 new stops throughout the center - this, sorry, is not a solution to the problem, this is petting. And I would like a deeper penetration into the center.

But getting to the center and riding on it has become really more convenient for a resident of the outskirts. Distant areas were connected by buses. They promise to drive from Luzhniki to Semenovskaya, from Nagatino to Polezhaevskaya. Perfectly! Many routes have been straightened out and made a little longer and more logical: T9 now runs from the Vladykino metro station to Kitay-gorod - the prayers and banners of Marfino residents have been heard. The new M10 route from Lobnenskaya Street to Kitai-Gorod is also wonderful because the bus passes through the Garden Ring almost through.

To remove the small flaws - and it would be perfect. Another thing worries: in the evenings and on weekends, ground transport almost always runs empty. I am even afraid to take pictures of passing buses: what if the officials see that no one needs it, and finally believe that Muscovites love the metro. And this is not so. The best way to look at the city is from the height of a tram/trolleybus/bus seat.”

What can be said about the design of "Magistrali"?

Nonna Khismatullina

designer, art director of The Moscow Times

“It's great that navigation in the city is becoming a single system, a single brand. This makes Moscow clearer and more logical. As for the graphic part of the map, one can see what a huge amount of information and with what care was processed and translated into non-verbal language. It is pleasant to look at the map, you want to look at it - and find a lot of pleasant little things: for example, a small arrow near the stop circle indicates a significant territorial mismatch of the route stop in the opposite direction. This is a very useful thing, but I did not immediately consider it.

The legend is well built: a translucent plate along the perimeter, where the symbols are tied to the entry point of the route on the map. This decision is not new and quite common, in particular, it was similar in the Lebedev reference book "Moscow Transport", however, a little less succinctly executed.

The solution with different line thicknesses and color choices for trunk and regional routes is beautiful. Although there are controversial points in which I could not find the logic. For example, why is route 64 different in color from other social routes? Does the color of the main routes match the color of the line of the metro station from which it starts, or is it a coincidence / mismatch?

The font work is great too. But the captions for reference points (Arbat Gates, the Udarnik cinema, etc.) could be given in a different style, so as not to be confused with metro stations, or icons could be added as additional anchors. By the way, I would simplify the Kremlin icon - now there are too many details, in my opinion. It is also strange that the names of the streets are not duplicated in English, but this is already my fault.”

How will the system as a whole change our perceptions of the city?

Artem Gerasimenko

expert of the Center for Strategic Research

“Moving to Moscow in 1992 was a surprise for me, a seven-year-old child. After the five-story regional Kubinka with quiet closed courtyards, the territory with skyscrapers growing in the fields formed a completely different feeling of being in space. One thing was invariable: Moscow was still as far away as before. Parents sometimes took my sister and me to the city, the road always took more than an hour, of which half the time was in buses. Numbers 813 and 262 will forever be remembered as long-awaited warm - especially in winter - symbols of achieving the goal: "Hurrah, I'm almost home" or "Finally, the metro." But I especially remember those trips when buses along familiar routes brought us somewhere where we didn’t have to go by metro - the Aquarium store in Yasenevo or the Prague market. The natural need for comfort was satisfied, there was a feeling of accessibility - that's how boring I can call it now. And then I was just happy. And then there was the subway.

Twenty-five years later, the city has become much more understandable and familiar to me. I began to live in the Basmanny district, go to work in the Arbat area. I have much more to do, I am now based in the center, using my own or rented bike. But the metro has remained the main way to get from point A to point B. The only understandable land transport was trolleybus B, plying along the Garden Ring. All other routes either broke off at unexpected moments, or did not fit into the image of a convenient and understandable way to travel. Studying the details of the Magistral project, I see that both problems will no longer be relevant in a couple of days.

It is obvious that the project, even if it is introduced in stages, will quickly become an integral part of the daily life of citizens, making the process of moving more comfortable and efficient. And if we subjectively assess the various actions of the city government, then the return of the public transport route network to the center is no less significant than bringing beauty to the sidewalks and squares.”
