Where to fly without a visa. Which countries will accept Russians without a visa? Full list of visa-free countries for Russian citizens

Since September 2015, the rules for obtaining a Schengen visa have changed for Russians. To purchase it, all citizens over 12 years old must undergo a fingerprinting procedure. Unfortunately, not all Russian regions have visa centers that issue such biometric documents. To do this, many will have to travel to neighboring regions, which, of course, can be financially difficult and inconvenient.

But it happens that a person has the opportunity and desire to go abroad quite unexpectedly. There may or may not be time to apply for a visa. In this case, he can always go to those places where he will not be required to provide permits. There are enough such countries. There are about a hundred of them and they are in all corners of the globe.

The most popular visa-free destinations

Traditionally, the countries of the former Soviet Union. They are nearby, many have relatives or friends living there.

It is not yet possible to give an exact list of countries where it will be possible to travel without a visa, since the laws are constantly changing everywhere, as well as the political situation in the world. But I must say that this list can be divided into two parts. One includes states that you can travel to with an internal passport, the other part - countries that you need a foreign passport to visit.

With internal passport

Any citizen of Russia with a passport is free to enter the territory Belarus, Kazakhstan, Tajikistan, Kyrgyzstan, as well as two republics unrecognized by the world community - Abkhazia and South Ossetia. Incidentally, the last two recent times are really in demand among Russian tourists. In the republics there is something to see, locals always friendly and happy when they come to visit.

With a foreign passport

The rest of the countries of the former USSR (except for the Baltic countries and Turkmenistan, which require a visa) are ready to accept Russians with a valid foreign passport, which will still be valid for at least 90 days. This applies to Armenia, Azerbaijan, Georgia, Moldova, Uzbekistan and Ukraine, where the requirements for the entry of Russian citizens have also recently become stricter and a foreign passport is required.

All visa-free countries for Russians can also be divided into separate categories. There are countries and dependent territories where our compatriots can freely rest for three months, in others the agreed periods of tourist stay are more modest.

Up to 15 days

If it's ordinary tourist trip, then 14 or 15 days is quite enough to briefly get acquainted with the main sights and culture of the chosen country. Today (and, provisionally, for 2016), the following countries and state entities provide such conditions:

Up to 30 days

Many people would dream of spending a whole month traveling through a distant country. True, towards the end of this period, it would be unlikely that among them there would be those who would not begin to yearn for their homeland.

Up to 45 and up to 60 days

In special cases, tourists plan to spend more time on the trip, for example, up to 45 or 60 days. Some countries give Russians such an opportunity:

Up to 90 days

There are quite a lot of countries that allow Russians to stay on their territory for 90 days without a visa. And it's not just the former Soviet republics.

Besides...

In some states, residents of Russia can stay even longer. For example, in the Republic of Fiji, Russians can legally stay without a visa for up to 120 days, and in Armenia - up to 180 days.

The tourist reception system in China is also interesting. If Russians are allowed to stay in Hong Kong without a visa for 14 days, in Macau - 30, then on Hainan Island - 21, and in Shanghai, Beijing, Harbin and Guangzhou - only 72 hours, and this privilege applies exclusively to travelers who find themselves there in transit. The fact is that in China, each province, and sometimes even a city, has its own set of laws and its own rules for accepting tourists, and in most Chinese territories, Russians will still be required to provide visa documents.

In addition, there are about fifty more states where a visa for Russians is issued upon arrival at the place. By the way, this list also includes states that are formally considered visa-free. For example, a visa is not required for Syria, but many travelers are not allowed to go beyond the airport, and therefore knowledgeable people It is still advised to issue permits at the embassy in advance.

Of course, it is too early to think about it, but in the highest echelons of power they are seriously thinking about the abolition of short-term visas for Russians who want to visit France. This was reported quite recently by Jean-Maurice Ripert, who holds the post of Ambassador of France to Russian Federation. According to him, in his homeland they are interested in increasing the flow of tourists between the countries, but so far other members of the Schengen zone are hindering this.

It is possible that by 2016 a number of countries will revise the system of entry into their territory of citizens of the Russian Federation.

Before you go to any country, find out in more detail how the visa-free program is implemented in it. After all, some of them have special rules, the observance of which is mandatory for all tourists, especially those who come under a simplified scheme.

Sometimes a tourist may be required to show return tickets, confirm a hotel reservation, and also prove their ability to pay. Such conditions may apply to the vast majority of territories that allow people to come on vacation without special permits.

But there are also more subtle features.

In Tunisia, only organized tourists who arrive on a direct flight from Russia do not need a visa. And in South Korea- only to those who landed on Jeju Island, and also in the case when the guest can prove that during his life he visited Korea at least 10 times or at least four times in the last two years.

And our tourists may also face such a problem that airport employees simply will not know that there are some kind of special conditions, this applies more to small exotic countries, and then you will need to urgently make inquiries and prove your right to be in that territory without special permission.

And of course, don't forget to take out travel insurance. With a medical policy, you will feel much more confident abroad, and in which case, it will significantly help you save money.

Vacation planning is an exciting process. The success of the trip depends 100% on the right choice of a country for a holiday. But often the possibility of a trip is limited by the visa regime for entering the country. What if there is no possibility of obtaining a visa? Choose countries where you can go without a visa.

Where can I travel with an e-Visa?

There are two types of e-visas:

  1. actually electronic, that is, you issue it via the Internet and you are allowed into the country without pasting a paper visa into your passport (for example, in Cyprus);
  2. electronic permission to obtain a visa upon arrival, when you only receive a visa permission via the Internet, and at the airport you are pasted a visa into your passport (for example, in Vietnam, if your stay exceeds 15 days).

Both visas are convenient and save a lot of time and nerves. Usually, in order to obtain a visa permit, you need to pay a fee and send scanned copies required documents. Below is a list of countries where in 2020 you can travel without a visa in the traditional sense - that is, you can either apply for a visa permit via the Internet or get an electronic visa.

  • Australia (3, 6 or 12 months, you can apply online. BUT you need to pass biometrics): tickets →

  • Ivory Coast (3 months)

Where can you fly cheaply without a visa?

Do you want to relax on a budget and without a visa? Choose a country from the list below. We have compiled a list of visa-free countries for Russians and states with simplified entry, where you can fly quite inexpensively.

The minimum prices in rubles for air tickets (round-trip) for one person are indicated. The cost of tours is indicated for two for 7-10 nights. We are watching flights from Moscow.

Search for air tickets. Compare prices different airlines on the Skyscanner search engine - smart search will help you find cheap tickets.

Abkhazia

To get to Abkhazia, you need to fly to Sochi airport (Adler). Further ground transport we get to the Abkhazian resorts. Tickets to Adler cost from 3,000 rubles, tours to Abkhazia - from 20,000 rubles.

Vietnam, Thailand and Sri Lanka

Inexpensive and visa-free destinations for Russians. One bad thing - you have to spend money on the flight. Tickets cost from 30 thousand rubles, sometimes you can find them for 22-25 thousand. Vouchers cost from 60 thousand for two, to Sri Lanka - from 80 thousand.

Georgia

A country from the list of visa-free for Russians, and it is allowed to stay in Georgia for at least a whole year. You can fly here inexpensively: air tickets to from Moscow and St. Petersburg usually cost about 8-12 thousand rubles. The cheapest flights from Yekaterinburg, Novosibirsk, Krasnodar, Adler and Krasnoyarsk to Tbilisi cost around 15-22 thousand.

Israel

Israel is another country where you can fly without a visa and very cheaply, and many people use it with pleasure! Tickets cost from 11,000 rubles, tours - from 55 thousand.

India

To travel to India, an electronic visa is issued: it is easy to obtain, but it costs $100. But Goa is one of the most inexpensive destinations for relaxing by the sea. Tours cost from 50 thousand, last-minute ones are cheaper. Tickets to Delhi cost from 20 thousand.

Kenya

If you want to go to real black Africa, go to Kenya or Tanzania! Alas, these countries are not included in the list of visa-free for Russians, and tickets are not cheap - from 32,000 rubles. But everything is relative. It is difficult to get visas for almost all other African countries, and flights there are even more expensive. Traveling to Kenya and Tanzania is easier: visas are issued according to a simplified system, there are more flights, and security is higher.

Cyprus

One more popular destination recreation. An electronic visa is easily done online, the prices at the resorts are European, but not prohibitively high. Tickets to Larnaca cost from 6,000 rubles, to Paphos - from 15,000 rubles. You can buy a tour to Cyprus from 50 thousand rubles.

Morocco, Tunisia and Egypt

Russians can fly to Morocco and Tunisia without a visa; in Egypt, a visa is issued upon arrival. Rest in all countries is inexpensive. Tickets from Moscow to Morocco cost from 10-15 thousand, to Egypt and Tunisia - the same amount.

UAE

Inexpensive tickets to Dubai are also not uncommon, and for flights from many Russian cities. Fly to the UAE from Yekaterinburg, St. Petersburg, Moscow, Mineralnye Vody, Krasnodar, Kazan can be from 15 thousand rubles, during big sales - even cheaper. Tickets cost from 50 thousand.

Turkey

Where can you go inexpensively and without a visa, if not to Turkey? It is these two criteria that have made the country so popular for Russians: visa-free entry and cheap vacation. You can fly to Istanbul for 8000 rubles, to Antalya - for 10 thousand. Tours are very cheap: even 20 thousand rubles is not the limit, there are vouchers for 15 and even 10 thousand for two. Rest "all inclusive" costs from 35 thousand rubles.

Philippines

A flight to the Philippines cannot be called inexpensive - tickets usually cost from 35-40 thousand rubles. However, sometimes you can fly cheaper to this visa-free country for Russians - sometimes there are tickets for 27-30 thousand.

Montenegro

Tickets to Tivat can be found from 10 thousand rubles, to Podgorica - from 13 thousand. Tickets cost from 40 thousand.

South America and the Caribbean

An unfortunate paradox and injustice - the list of visa-free countries for Russians includes almost all states South America and the Caribbean, but flying there is very expensive. Saved only by large sales (for example, Allitalia) or erroneous tariffs. Usually tickets to Latin American countries cost from 40-50 thousand rubles.

South Korea

One of the few developed countries from the list of visa-free for Russians. This is worth using! The cheapest way to fly to Seoul is from Vladivostok and Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk - tickets for direct S7 flights can cost as little as 14,000 rubles. Air tickets from Moscow and St. Petersburg cost from 30 thousand rubles.

We have considered all the countries where Russians in 2020 can travel without a visa and at the same time inexpensively. All other countries either require pre-arranged visas (through the consulate and visa centers) or are not destinations where you can fly cheaply.
