Many Russians rent out their apartments and houses, which, in my opinion, are worth choosing. Food in hotels is monotonous, it makes no sense to focus on it.

Becici, in my opinion perfect place for holidays with children. Here good beaches, developed infrastructure. Cafes, restaurants, many grocery stores, pharmacies, clinic. All kinds of entertainment for children: rides, playgrounds, water park. At the same time, it is quieter here and fewer people than in neighboring Budva. But if you wish, you can get to the most popular Montenegrin resort in ten minutes by bus or even walk along the beautiful promenade.

In my opinion, with children it will not be very convenient in Herceg Novi. Firstly, due to the fact that the city consists almost entirely of huge stairs, and due to the lack of a normal beach (within the city, you can swim only on the concrete embankment. - Approx. ed.).

From personal experience: the water in Boka is colder than in the open sea and in the Gulf of Tivat. Especially near Orahovac - many mountain rivers flow into the water. But this is a plus - the water here is clean, less salty, and we have never encountered rotavirus during the entire season.

We wash our hands, we don’t put anything in our mouths (we arrived when he was not even five years old, now it’s the eighth year), in the sea - slippers from hedgehogs, on his head - a panama hat, protective cream. Medicines are all in pharmacies - if not, then they find analogues. We encountered medicine the year before last - the pulmonologist only exhausted her son: either worms, or a blood test for antibodies; as a result, I took tests in a private center on the recommendation of our doctor from the Russian Federation. Medicine for tourists is very expensive, the price does not match the quality. Most often, tourists themselves are to blame: they catch rotavirus, start the course of the disease and fall immediately under droppers. In five days, the bill for treatment can go for 1,000 euros.

The most common summer illness is rotavirus. But it can be found anywhere in the world. Therefore, you need to monitor hygiene - thoroughly wash your hands and vegetables / fruits. Children in their first year of life can be vaccinated against rotavirus. Must do before travel medical insurance. I had to call the insurance doctor several times. To do this, I simply contacted the insurance company, and they themselves found a Russian-speaking doctor nearby, who came to the house even at night. But the most important exhibit of the museum is certainly the real submarine "Hero" R-821, which was in service with the Yugoslav navy from the sixties of the last century until the collapse of the country. On the this moment it has undergone a complete restoration, is located on the shore and is open for inspection. Next to the museum there is a wonderful playground in the form of a ship - this is a wonderful entertainment for those kids who have not yet grown up to see military submarines.

I think that it will also be very interesting for you and the children to visit the Lipaska Cave, which is located eight kilometers from the city of Cetinje - the old capital of Montenegro. Today the cave is a well-equipped tourist site. The auto-train will take you directly from the parking lot to the entrance to the cave. Children love this kind of entertainment.

Well, inside the cave you can endlessly admire the stunning natural formations, reminiscent of some unseen animals, then fairytale palaces. Very comfortable paths are laid inside and the whole cave is well illuminated. Excursions to the cave take place four times a day and last about an hour. Just remember to take warm clothes with you, because it is very cold inside the cave.

Near the most popular Montenegrin resort Budva there are two water parks at once. The first one is quite small and is located on the territory of the Mediteran hotel in the suburbs of Budva - the village of Becichi. All guests are welcome here, not just hotel guests. And the second water park was built literally quite recently, it is located on a hill right above the city and is called very simply - Budva water park. By the way, the restaurant located in the aqua complex offers a fantastic view of the city.

The water park is arranged in the best European traditions - with a lazy river, a children's and an adult area, a wave pool, a kamikaze slide, indoor and outdoor slides and, of course, a pool bar. Very young children can be safely left with the animators in the children's room under supervision.

Children will definitely enjoy visiting a very nice museum in Cetinje called "King Nikola's Court". It is quite small in size, but very bright and saturated. Of course, it will be interesting for children to see how real kings lived before. And although Montenegro is a very small country and has never been particularly rich, yet its last monarch, Nicholas I, lived in real royal luxury.

In the old town of Kotor there is a very interesting interactive museum that children simply adore. It is located in a medieval building adjacent to the church of St. Nicholas. At the entrance to the museum, all visitors are met by a medieval knight, and inside you can even try on his armor. Here you can do a lot of interesting things - grind flour on old millstones, for example, or do some old craft.

All children just love kart racing - small fireballs, because this is both a sport and a real thing. extreme entertainment. In addition, here you can easily compete with parents who will develop greater speed. You will find a karting center along the Cetinje-Podgorica track.

During the tourist season, a red pleasure submarine runs in almost all Montenegrin resorts. And even though the Adriatic Sea is not so rich in underwater inhabitants, children usually return very satisfied after such an exciting walk.
