Well, during the period May holidays The thermometer rises to +18-+20°C, but do not forget that it is still cool in the evenings.

Good afternoon
I would like to ask for help in choosing a vacation spot at the end of June.
We were already in Sudak last year, now I would like to go to Feodosia, but we don’t know where exactly to relax (in which hotel, or in the private sector). I would like to be closer to the sea, naturally. For those who have no problem and who have been to Feodosia, please tell me. I'm going with my husband. I will be very grateful.
Thanks in advance

Located in the central part of the city, close to the entertainment embankment, close to the bus to the golden beach.
In general, you will find good housing from private owners and locally. As a rule, such housing is always available, there is a great demand for chicken coops there.

Ekaterina, the center of Feodosia is not far from the railway station. At one time we lived in a mini-hotel on Voykova Street. This street is perpendicular to the embankment. The location seemed very good:
1. On the one hand, the center is nearby, on the other hand, all the noise, seething and boiling is somewhat to the side.
2. There is a market nearby.
3. There is a bus station nearby - it’s convenient to start from the bus terminal going to Golden Beach.

So it is quite possible to consider this area.

We also lived on Fedko Street. It is long, from the Kerch highway to General Gorbachev. Not bad, but after the 140th building it’s a bit far from the center and the embankment. But closer to the sandy beaches of Aivazovsky.

Well, it depends on how far you can go and where you will live :)

Along the embankment there are pebble city beaches delimited by piers. They are equipped with sun loungers and umbrellas (for a fee), and there is a public toilet on the embankment (for a fee). In June everything is fine on these beaches, I won’t say anything about other months.

Living on Voykova, in the morning we left the bus station for “Zhemchuzhina”, spent the whole day there, and in the evening we walked back through the park and along the embankment. This walk (very leisurely) took 40 minutes.

By the way, yes. And the place itself near the Ukraine cinema is very good.

You need to choose the beach on your own, see what, where and how.

I have it in Feodosia mandatory place to visit: White Acacia culinary shop. They make excellent baked goods, the range is large and the quality has been stable for 10 years.

Unfortunately, I don’t remember the address, but it’s easy to find: from pedestrian street Gallery move up the alley where the traffic police building is, to the culinary shop :)

It’s better to immediately look for an apartment/house or a mini-hotel on the Internet. Using the map, determine the location of the object.

You can probably look for it upon arrival, but on our first trip we stayed with friends, then, once we were there, walking around the city we looked for nice places, took contacts and price lists. Well, before arriving we called/agreed.

Facts modern history no longer contain information about bloody battles. Crimea, donated to Ukraine by N. S. Khrushchev, became part of it and, with the collapse of the USSR, remained its territory until 2014. Where is the best place to rent a house in Feodosia in 2019?

Before deciding where it is better to rent housing in Feodosia in 2019, familiarize yourself with the features and advantages of the areas of the resort city.

Central district of Feodosia

The so-called " Old town"is the central district of Feodosia. In addition to two beaches and the central embankment, famous sights of the city are concentrated here. So, Genoese fortress still retains the memory of those times when the city of Kaffa served as a defensive structure. A meaningful excursion and real pictures of the past will leave an indelible mark in the memory of any tourist.

There is also a museum of the artist Aivazovsky, who was born in this city. The museum was opened by the artist himself back in the 19th century and since then remains one of famous places Europe.

Tourists can visit the Green Museum in the same Central region. This is a literary memorial complex dedicated to the life and work of the writer.

Another attraction of the Central region is Cape St. Elias and the lighthouse, which for many centuries showed the way to ships.

On Kuibyshev Street, the doors of the Money Museum are open for tourists and city residents. Since metal coins have been printed in Feodosia since its existence as part of Genoa, the city’s numismatic collections are the largest in the world. And to this day they continue to surprise and delight museum visitors.

Renting housing in Feodosia in the Central region means giving yourself the opportunity to get closer to centuries-old history amazing and unique city. For tourists there is a huge selection of apartments, as well as private sector.

Dynamo District

Known since Soviet times, Komsomolsky Park is located in the Dynamo district. An original children's playground with an unusual interpretation in the form of ancient ruins combined with amazing nature and fresh air made a park favorite place recreation for citizens and tourists.

For lovers beach holiday Nearby are the beaches "Dynamo" and " Cote d'Azur", equipped for family recreation and active pastime. The huge selection and variety of accommodation (even luxury boathouses right on the coast) in this area makes it accessible to any category of tourists.

District Chernomorskaya embankment

In the area of Black Sea embankment or Pearl Beach there is the same Pearl Beach, considered the second city. Amazing nature and favorable climate are open to tourists who choose this area. A variety of boarding houses, apartments and the private sector allow you to choose housing at any price. The main attraction of the area is the Church of St. Sergius on Aivazovsky Street. This is an Armenian Temple with a centuries-old history, like the city itself. The famous artist was baptized and married here. Subsequently, Aivazovsky was buried on the territory of the church.

Nearby is the oldest mosque in the world, Mufti-Jami, restored today and representing famous monument architecture, culture and religions.

Having given preference to Feodosia as a resort, tourists inevitably receive a lot of impressions from the variety, level and type of recreation that can satisfy the needs of even the most capricious traveler.

Among the resorts of Crimea, Feodosia is often called not the most “childish” place to relax, because here good beaches and there is a place for adults to go for a walk, but kids may find it a little boring, there is not enough infrastructure. However, you can also find positive opinions about vacationing with children in this town of 70,000 people, so you shouldn’t immediately criticize the local conditions; perhaps this is exactly the kind of vacation that your child will remember for the rest of his life.

Peculiarities

Holidays in Crimea attract many potential tourists because for south coast This peninsula, which is the main tourist area, is characterized by a subtropical climate. A very important remark should be made here: Feodosia does not belong to the subtropical climate zone; to get into the subtropics you need to travel several tens of kilometers to the southwest. The climate in this resort is rightly considered transitional between temperate steppe, reminiscent of similar conditions on most of the coast Krasnodar region, and actually subtropical.

Nevertheless, this also has its advantages, for example, during the summer peak (July-August) the heat here is not as sweltering as in Yalta. A small average annual rainfall and low humidity make it easier to tolerate high temperatures and provide more sunny days a year than many other Crimean resorts. The season here lasts approximately from the end of May to the beginning of September.

And although there really aren’t many amazing rides and other children’s entertainment here, many vacationers with children choose Feodosia, explaining this for a number of reasons.

  • First of all, here the seabed descends very gently, that is, tens of meters from the shore, kids can still safely frolic in the water, and parents have no reason to worry.
  • The shallow depth of coastal waters means that they are well heated by the sun's rays. In addition, storms and other disturbances on the water are not typical for these places.
  • Sea water is clean - local authorities make sure that various waste of any origin is not dumped into the sea. The water is considered especially clean not in Feodosia itself, but in its immediate surroundings.

However, it should be said that when there are large crowds of people, a sandy suspension rises from the bottom, and after rare storms an increased amount of algae is observed.

  • In almost all of Crimea, the beaches are quite narrow. However, due to the fact that Feodosia is not limited by mountains and the slope to the sea is quite gentle, the beaches here are wide enough to accommodate a significant number of vacationers and provide space for children to play actively.
  • The city itself is also good for a vacation - it’s quiet, local residents polite and friendly. Food will be relatively inexpensive due to the fact that the main tourist “magnets” are still located a little to the side. Feodosia and its surroundings are well suited for hiking, which can be an additional advantage for a vacation with teenagers.

Where to stay?

If you are only interested in the most best hotels, then there is no point in going to Feodosia - the resort infrastructure is the highest level You really can't find it here. Even a hotel’s own swimming pool or children’s animation is a luxury for which you will have to travel further, towards Yalta, and in the vicinity of Feodosia there is simply no such service. And although there are rooms offered to customers for over 10 thousand rubles per night, you should think ten times before booking them: they probably don’t really cost that much.

The majority of visitors prefer to stay in middle-class hotels for several thousand rubles per room. Oddly enough, it will be much cheaper to live in the center of Feodosia than on the outskirts, and conditions, as a rule, on the contrary, are better in the city center. On the outskirts there are usually predominantly private boarding houses, which consider their main advantage to be distance from the city, secluded atmosphere and direct access to the first line. At the same time, some such institutions look like literally semi-legal squatters.

Therefore, it is better to focus on boarding houses in the city center, especially government ones. They can be booked in advance (however, be prepared that there are a lot of people willing to do so), or you can agree on the spot. In the latter case, the conditions will resemble Soviet ones, but the rest can cost several hundred rubles per person per day. For children you can choose one or the other children's sanatorium, for example, the famous “Volna”, but they will not be able to live there with their parents.

Generally good option Private housing is also considered; here the conditions may be far from outstanding, but this option will turn out to be extremely budget-friendly. Advertisements for the rental of such housing hang on literally every pole here.

What to visit?

As for interesting things for children, there are really very few of them here - many courtyards are not even equipped with basic playgrounds. The only thing left to do with kids is to walk around the city itself, which is distinguished by the remains of ancient architecture in historical center, and picturesque surroundings. At the same time, experienced travelers warn that you should take a stroller with you on walks with kids, because the significant ruggedness of the local terrain makes little legs get tired quickly.

All children's entertainment lies in the typical beach infrastructure, which for people living very far from the sea can also seem like a real paradise. We are talking, first of all, about typical beach attractions like trampolines and inflatable slides, from which you can slide into small pools. An alternative would be to ride a banana.

In short, if the experience of relaxing on a variety of sea resorts the family already has one, and the child is unlikely to be happy with a banal wallowing on the beach, Feodosia will most likely disappoint the baby somewhat. True, in Crimea everything is relatively close, so those who really lack infrastructure can take a bus to Koktebel - there is at least a dolphinarium and a full-fledged water park there. This trip will take about half an hour one way; buses run regularly in this direction.
