Sometimes it seems to me that our planet is so small ... there is nowhere to turn around. Why does it feel like this to me? Who knows! After all, I understand that in fact it is not so. And in this world there are a huge number of places where you can go. So I made a list of those sights to which my soul lies, and which I plan to see someday.

10th place. Grand Canyon

What: one of the most deep canyons in the world with a length of 446 km.
Where: USA, Arizona.
Why: unique place, a very unusual canyon, the depth of which reaches 1800 meters. To see with your own eyes what was formed about 10 million years is priceless. To meet the sunrise or sunset here is a dream of many, including myself.

9th place. Madagascar

What: the fourth largest island of our planet and the state of the same name
Where: Indian Ocean, East Coast Africa
Why: as a child, I watched programs with Drozdov and others like him, and was impressed to the core. At that time I did not know where this marvelous marvel is located - the island of Madagascar. But even then I knew that those creatures that died out in other parts of the world live on this island. Unique reptiles, rare chameleons, lemurs and predators (such as fossa, for example) live here. I grew up, I can easily not only show on the map where Madagascar is located, but even name its capital from memory. But the desire to visit there never disappeared.

8th place. Iguazu Falls Cascade

What: majestic waterfalls 82 meters high and up to 4000 meters wide, one of the modern seven wonders of the world.
Where: on the border of Argentina and Brazil.
Why: this place arose here about 140 million years ago. The waterfall creeps every year, and has already moved 28 kilometers from its original point, where it first appeared. There is a cascade of 270 waterfalls, each of which is from 40 to 82 meters. This must be seen! And not only to see, but also to hear. Can you imagine the noise there?

7th place. Easter Island

What: the most remote inhabited island in the world, famous for its mysterious stone statues (moai).
Where: Chile, southern part Pacific Ocean.
Why: everyone knows about these mysterious statues, but no one can really explain how the ancient settlers of this island managed to create such identical, huge statues? What tools? How were they moved? Unusual religious "monuments" beckon me :)

6th place. Antarctica

What: cold-precold continent, the most high continent Earth, Earth's cold pole
Where: located in the very south of the Earth, off the coast of the Southern Ocean
Why: we can all go to any of our continents: Eurasia, 2 Americas, Africa, Australia... but only a few can boast of having been to Antarctica. Oh yes, there are no castles and waterfalls, no cities, and in general, at first glance, there is nothing. But it's not like that! 30 cubic million kilometers of ice (90% of all land ice) cannot but amaze you. As well as the temperature, which is the lowest on the entire planet.

5th place. Everest

What: highest peak world, 8848 meters.
Where: Himalayas, border of Nepal and Tibet (China).
Why: I flew many times on an airplane, and always, when I had the opportunity, I looked out the window. Most of the time there were only clouds around. At such moments, I imagined how it would take my breath away if I saw the peak of the mountain sticking out. Just think: almost 9 kilometers! Chomolungma is some kind of unattainable peak for my understanding. And physical abilities :) Yes, I certainly want to get there. Let not to the very top, but at least in base camp at 5 kilometers.

4th place. Valley of Geysers

What: one of the largest geyser fields in the world, the only one in Eurasia, is one of the seven wonders of Russia.
Where: Russia, Kamchatka
Why: a place you just can't get to. Only if you have a helicopter. A natural formation unique for Russia. Lots of geysers and thermal springs that gush out of the ground. Perhaps this is what our Earth looked like at the very beginning.

3rd place. Baikal

What: most deep lake in the world (1642 meters), the largest natural reservoir of fresh water.
Where: Russia, Buryatia, Irkutsk region
Why: Baikal is the place of my dreams. I cannot afford to live my life on this planet and not see him. Clear water(visibility - up to 40 meters!), unique shores with flora and fauna that is only found here.

2nd place. Machu Picchu

What: City of Ancient America, New Wonder of the World, Lost City of the Incas
Where: Peru
Why: the city in the clouds, at an altitude of 2450 meters, cannot but attract. Who are those brave people who founded it here? How were they able to build it at such a height, how did they process the stones, how did they drag them and deliver them to the right place? I would like to go there and breathe this air in order to touch the past at least for a moment and try to find answers to all these questions.

1 place. Han Song Dong Mountain River Cave

What: the largest cave in the world, which was discovered recently.
Where: Vietnam, Phong Nha.
Why: it seems that everything is already open, and man was everywhere. But no. national park Phong Nha Kebang is a place full of caves. Tourists come here to enjoy the beauty of the mountain interiors. We were there too, enjoyed it too :) So, in this very place, which is constantly full of tourists and guides, we found a cave that was right under our noses, and not just a cave, but the largest cave on the planet! Giant stalactites and stalagmites, its own eco-system, unique formations inside this cave - that's what attracts and beckons. And they were very close to her, but could not get there. It's a pity. We will try next time!

All these places have attracted me for a long time, and I hope that someday I will visit them.
Our planet is unique, and a lifetime is not enough to see everything that it has prepared for us. How many undiscovered, unexplored, unique things we can find! And that's the most important thing in our life - not the desire to have the best material wealth, but the desire to touch what is part of us ... let's love our Earth and travel!

How to achieve what you want? In a sense, it's very simple: you make a wish list and dedicate time and effort to achieving your goals. Never listen to skeptics and have no doubt that you can achieve a lot!

A few years ago, a group of young enthusiasts from the United States began to make lists of 100 things they would like to do before they die. They also helped strangers complete their list every time they completed something on their wish list. They helped many people to fulfill the secret and crazy. During this time, they conducted a survey of millions of people, asking them: "What would you like to do before you die?". Years later, they came to the conclusion that the #1 item on the list of people was travel. So they came up with their list of top 10 places to visit before you die.
