Kubinka military airfield in the Moscow region: how to get there. How to get to the airports: Ostafyevo, Chkalovsky and Ramenskoye Airfield Chkalovsky military unit how to get there

general information

The international Chkalovsky airport in Moscow is located far from the city center, thirty kilometers from it. There are six more airports in Moscow. Chkalovsky airfield can operate flights within the country, as well as international flights. In the past, the military airfield has now become a first-class aviation enterprise. It accepts aircraft models Tu-154, Il-76, An-124 and other lighter aircraft, as well as all kinds of helicopters. On the territory of the airfield there is a state-owned airline, which is engaged in private transportation using military aircraft.

Story

The history of the airfield began in the distant 1930s. Previously, Khodynka airport was considered an aviation enterprise of military importance, where training and test flights of a special purpose regiment were carried out. The regiment had at its disposal the best military aircraft. Chkalovsky airfield was opened in 1932. In 1973, the military airfield began conducting civil charter flights and freight transportation. In 1999, it was decided to open a special terminal for passenger flights.

Airport map, terminals

Chkalovsky Airport has one terminal where passengers check in for the flight. Cargo and other flights are also carried out from this terminal. There are two runways on the territory of the airport complex. One is made of asphalt concrete and has dimensions of 3000x60 meters. The second airstrip is made of concrete and withstands lighter air Transport. Its dimensions are 3623 × 60 meters. Also at the airport there are taxiways and a large parking lot for military aircraft.

Services, cafes, shops at the airport

The infrastructure of the airport is of a high level. Here, air passengers will find everything they need for a comfortable stay. The waiting room has comfortable seating, and there is also a VIP lounge at the airport where first-class passengers can wait for their flight. Here you can find many shops and catering outlets. Free wireless internet is available throughout the airport.

How to get to the airport

There are three ways to get to the airport. An electric train departs there from the Yaroslavsky railway station, which goes to the Chkalovskaya station. The only airport in Russia service business aviation. Despite the fact that the airport is actually subordinate to the Ministry of Defense and is a military airfield, the second co-owner is a subsidiary of Gazprom - Gazpromavia.

The official website of the airport: http://ostafyevo-airport.ru/.

Airport history

It was built in 1934 as a departmental institution under the NKVD. Subsequently (before the war) the airport was placed at the disposal of the USSR Ministry of Defense.

Despite the status of a military facility, in the post-war years, civilian cargo-passenger flights were formed from the airport to almost all corners of the Union.

At this time, OJSC Gazprom became the co-owner of Ostafyevo Airport. For 3 years, with the support of the company, large-scale reconstruction was carried out and in 2000 the airport was reopened for passenger traffic.

Ostafyevo is the main air port of Gazprom, and a hub subsidiary Gazpromavia.

Attempts to close the airport

In the late 90s, the Moscow government tried to close the airport, as it was planned to build another microdistrict in its place South Butovo. And already constructed areas are located in the zone of noise pressure. However, Gazprom "won back" it from the officials.

What will happen to the airport?

Today, Ostafyevo Airport has a low daily throughput. In this regard, a set of measures has been developed to improve the quality of service and expand the material and technical base of the airport.

Thus, a project has already been adopted to modernize the main runway. The length will be increased to 2.5 km, and the coating will be changed to a more modern one.

In addition to the main lane, taxiways and parking areas will be updated. An increase in parking spaces and aprons for embarkation and disembarkation is envisaged.

As already mentioned, a new aircraft hangar will be put into operation in the near future, the infrastructure and HMS warehouses will be updated.

A project of a new passenger terminal with a capacity of 100 passengers per hour is being considered.

The Chkalovsky airfield (Moscow region) is a strategically important military complex. It was founded at the beginning of the 20th century. Chkalovsky airfield (address: microdistrict is located northeast of the capital. Further in the article we will learn about what this complex is today. The material will tell you what divisions the Chkalovsky airfield has, how to get to the complex.

General information about the object

The airfield "Chkalovsky" belongs to the first class. The complex can receive helicopters of all types, as well as light aircraft. For example, Tu-154, Il-62, An-124 and the like. State Airline "223rd flight squad" is based on it. This organization is an enterprise that carries out commercial transportation using military aircraft. In addition to aircraft of the Ministry of Defense Russian Federation, the complex has every reason to accept aircraft Roskosmos, the Ministry of Internal Affairs, as well as civilian ones. The latter - only by prior agreement. The complex is a joint distribution airfield. A base is stationed on it, which includes special forces units: 206, 353 and 354.

History of the Chkalovsky airfield

In the past, on the territory of the complex there was a separate test and training aviation regiment for special purposes No. 70. This formation named after V. S. Seregin was included in the RGNI TsPK. The military unit was armed with such models as L-39, Tu-154, Il-76MDK and Tu-134. Yu. A. Gagarin Research Institute of TsPK was formed several years ago. It was created on the basis of the 70th air unit. At her disposal were flight technical elements and aircraft of the former regiment. Also earlier, the 8th Special Purpose Pilot Division was located on the territory, which was disbanded in 2010. The units that Chkalovsky airfield 42829, other military formations currently accept, include four security and maintenance battalions.

Development and operation

V. S. Chernomyrdin approved a special Government Order. Since that moment, the Chkalovsky airfield, the address of which is indicated above, has become open for military aircraft flights. Object received international status. Passed through it on one-time orders air cargo and charter civil passenger flights. At the end of the 20th century, Chkalovsky Airport OJSC was organized. It was also planned to open a special passenger terminal later.

Unfulfilled plans

According to the preliminary plan, in the summer of 2010, regular passenger flights to Abkhazia were to be carried out from this air complex. It was assumed that the aircraft of the Russian Air Force would make two flights per week. However, a prohibition order was issued by the relevant authorities. It was a refusal to issue a license for this type of aviation security activity. Chkalovsky airport. The official reason was the non-compliance of the applicant with the necessary conditions and requirements.

Empowerment

The airline complex is one of the contenders for the fourth place international airport capital Cities. However, the Chkalovsky airfield has a big drawback in the struggle for this important status in the capital's air hub. Transport accessibility makes it less competitive. This year, a final decision on this issue was made. To eliminate this shortcoming, official permission was obtained from the Ministry natural resources. To be able to build a twin of the six-lane Shchelkovo Highway, more than forty hectares of forest would have to be cut down. Also among such objects will be Moose Island which is part of the national park. Length new road will be more than twenty kilometers. The route is planned to be laid in a detour settlements. The journey by car will take less than fifteen minutes (from the Moscow Ring Road to the point "Chkalovsky airfield"). How to get to the object will be clear after the completion of construction work. Now the object can be reached by public transport. To the pointer "Chkalovsky Aerodrom", the route is as follows: from the bus station of the capital (Central) (metro station "Shchelkovskaya") by minibus or bus number 375, 321, 380, 320, 378. By car, the path runs along Shchelkovskoye highway.

Innovative offer

In 2012, in the competitive conditions for the development of the concept of the metropolitan agglomeration, recommendations were received on the creation of a double electrical infrastructure network. The idea belongs to Reinier de Graaf, an architect from Holland. It was assumed that one of the networks is intended for electrical public transport, and the other for high-speed railway. They were supposed to connect the periphery around the Vnukovo, Domodedovo, Sheremetyevo and Chkalovsky complexes. The latter, according to the Dutchman's point of view, should be reorganized into a cargo air port. Thus, it has every chance of becoming one of the largest in the world.

Reconstruction options

At the beginning of the last (2013) year, the third international conference "Russian aviation fuel market" was held. One of the most significant speeches at it was a speech. In his speech, the Vice President of Transnefteprodukt stated that in given time negotiations with another leading enterprise are in full swing. In the event of their successful outcome, the military airfield "Chkalovsky" will be connected to a branch from the ring main oil pipeline. This item has been around for a long time. However, the last pumping through it from KNPP to the aviation complex was carried out a long time ago. The Moscow ring oil pipeline is a structural connection, which consists of three looped pipeline threads. They transport diesel fuel, gasoline and kerosene. In this case, the substances do not mix with each other. KNPP is connected to Sheremetyevo, Domodedovo and Vnukovo air complexes. There are also special supplies from the Ryazan oil refinery and the capital's refinery.

An-26RT crash

This event took place in 1988. The plane made a training flight, the purpose of which was to exercise in taking off and landing at night without the use of headlights and searchlights. After a successful landing, the crew members decided to perform an unplanned takeoff from the assembly line. To carry out their plan, they had to make a sharp movement of the engine control stick according to the fuel handle position indicator. Immediately before the takeoff itself, the propeller blades of the right engine turned to a position in which the influence of this element on the drag of the aircraft becomes minimal. However, the crew failed to notice this in time and continued to take off. Enough high altitude at a speed of about 200 km / h, the engine stopped. Personnel tried to start Unfortunately, all three attempts were performed incorrectly. The crew did not follow the instructions and started the right engine at an illegal low speed and altitude. The device has switched to stall mode. As a result, the plane fell into a small pond, hitting the roof of a dacha building in the process of falling. Then it collapsed and burned down. The tragedy occurred in the village of Kudinovo, fifteen kilometers from the Chkalovsky air complex. Six people died - all members of the crew (ship commander, flight mechanic, flight engineer, assistant commander, radio operator and navigator).

Il-75DT crash

In the summer of 2001, this cargo plane, airline owned"Rus", flew to the city of Norilsk. The takeoff was made at a speed that significantly exceeded the allowable. The commander of the vessel at a height of about ten meters, in order to compensate for the slope to the left of the take-off course, began to perform a right turn with a roll of several degrees. Having gained altitude in the course of these actions, the crew carried out a stabilizer shift in the absence of a compensating deviation of the altitude lever. The sequence of these manipulations is a violation of the rules and recommendations of the flight manual. The reason for the loss of control of the stabilizer is probably the installation of it in a position that does not actually correspond to the value of center of gravity and weight.

A special commission carried out a detailed investigation of the accident. As a result, it was found that the control of the stabilizer during takeoff is a regular and typical violation of the captain of the vessel. In addition, it turned out that the crew itself often performed similar actions during the separation of the aircraft. A few seconds before the collision with an obstacle, which was a tree on the take-off course, an attempt was made to deviate the elevator. Unfortunately, there was not enough time to complete the maneuver, and a collision was inevitable. At a height of twenty-two meters, the ship collided with trees. As a result of the incident, the third and fourth engines failed, and the landing gear was also badly damaged. As a result, the aircraft crashed into the ground and collapsed. Before sending the aircraft, the scheme for loading it was not drawn up. In the course of the commission's investigation, it was possible to establish that the takeoff weight of the vessel exceeded the maximum allowable rate for several tons. After the crash, there was an ignition from the tanks. To prevent the spread of the fire, all the forces of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the region were used. The fact that the board fell in the forest, and not on one of the many nearby settlements, can be considered a happy coincidence. All the people on the plane were killed. Among them were two passengers and eight crew members.

Tu-154 accident prevention

Three years ago, a plane crash was averted in the Moscow region. This is a merit of the professionalism and skill of military pilots. This one has been in storage for over 10 years. It was decided to transfer it from the airfield for a major overhaul. During takeoff there was a complete failure of the ship's control system. The crew managed to keep the plane in a horizontal position with the help of engines. The personnel alternately changed the position of their ailerons and thrust. Despite all efforts, the ship was losing altitude and listing heavily. During the second attempt, the pilots managed to make a safe landing of the aircraft on the runway Chkalovsky airfield. Thanks to the skillful actions of the crew members, it was possible to prevent the crash and avoid human casualties. A special check established the cause of the incident. It was the incorrect connection of a structural element of the automatic onboard control system to the power supply system. A motion was made to remedy the violation.

Airfield "Chkalovsky". Kaliningrad

This object is the best on the territory of "Chkalovsky" is sixty meters wide and three thousand meters long. In addition, the runway has no restrictions on the weight of aircraft. Its territory exceeds the mark of seven hundred hectares. The complex can be used by absolutely all types of currently existing aircraft. It has no equal in the number of dispersal areas, zones for group and individual parking. At the end of the last century, Chkalovsk was the base airfield for two formations of naval aviation. However, this did not affect the decision to stop using the complex. The units located there were disbanded, and the equipment was transported to Chernyakhovsk.
