After that, people nevertheless began to settle there, but the residents could not live there for a long time, because at night they heard a terrible howl and groans. In fact, there were no ghosts there, simply because of non-payment for the work of the stove-makers, the latter decided to take revenge and put glass bottles in the chimneys, which emitted a terrible howl during a strong wind.

Later, the editorial office of the Shershen newspaper was located here, for which Ivan Nechuy-Levitsky and Lesya Ukrainka wrote. In Soviet times, a communal apartment was arranged here, but over time, the tenants moved out. Currently, the castle is empty, it is planned to open a hotel in it.
