In 2013, the initiators of the project managed to attract an investor from St. Petersburg, who began to develop the ski complex at the modern level.
According to the director of the complex Artem Semenov, a 300-meter long slope has been opened in Kallivo Park, lifts have been installed, springboards and special obstacles for snowboarding and freestyle have been made.
After 2 weeks, the second stage of the slope opens, the length of which will be 700 meters. It is planned to create a three-kilometer illuminated ski track in the park, and next year it is planned to build a new office rental building, a cafe and a hotel.
The active recreation center is already popular. During the winter holidays, ski lovers came here to ski not only from Karelia, but also from St. Petersburg and Moscow.
