The Bambakov farm “Dolmen. Pshady Dolmens

In the Kuban, you can relax at any time of the year. And tourists are no longer afraid of the “dead” season and the lack of the opportunity to plunge into the sea. After all, besides him, there are many equally interesting places.

Mystery of ancient civilization

What attracts tourists from all over the world to the Kuban land is the dolmens, which keep the secrets of centuries, and maybe millennia. How our ancient ancestors created these outlandish houses (there is a version that these are tombs) remains a mystery to this day. Someone is sure that these stone structures could not be created by human hands, they were left on Earth by aliens. But be that as it may, these mysterious structures attract people like a magnet. Moreover, not only Russians come here, but also residents of other countries and continents to touch the secret of ancient civilizations. Since ancient times, dolmens have been endowed with miraculous powers, they believed that they could return love, help to find spiritual harmony, strengthen intuition, endow with wisdom, and they can ... and punish if they are treated disrespectfully. As for the official version, the dolmen - translated from British means "stone table" and is considered by modern archeology in different ways: either as a funerary or as a religious building. The time of their creation is attributed to the 3rd-2nd centuries BC. That is, they are not one millennium old. Scientists are sure that dolmens were not built in random places, which is why clots of that amazing energy are concentrated around them, which still feeds numerous visitors. However, until now, scientists, as already mentioned, have not come to a common opinion on the appointment of dolmens.

dolmen village

I was advised to visit the dolmens, located not far from Gelendzhik, near the village of Pshada (translated from the Adyghe language means "valley of stillness"). Do not believe it, but silence really reigns here and you can even hear how autumn leaves are fed under your feet. Although there are also dolmens in Adygea and in the Tuapse region, but only in Pshad, there are so-called "female" dolmens. According to popular beliefs, they help the representatives of the weaker sex.

When you drive towards Gelendzhik, carefully look around. When at the entrance to the village you will see signs - "Dolmen Village" and "Dolmen 100 meters" - welcome to mysterious world our ancestors. Turning off the road, you will see a parking lot where you can leave your vehicle. There will also be a box office. Tickets are accompanied by a map-scheme, thanks to which you can find dolmens, three of which are located on the slope of the cliff, and the fourth is at its very top. Climbing the slope is a pleasure. Literally after five minutes of walking, you will come to a sparkling waterfall with cool, life-giving water. You will wash her face and feel 20 years younger! Well, those who come here not for the first time take towels with them. A few minutes under an icy “shower”, then vigorous rubbing with a towel, a cup of hot tea from a thermos and the feeling is as if wings have grown behind my back.

Energy of love

Literally ten minutes walk from the waterfall and here it is "Dolmen of Love" or as it is also called "Maya".

“This dolmen brings true love to people, helps to find family happiness,” the woman explained to me, who, pressing her hands against the cool wall, asked “Maya” for a great and bright feeling.

This dolmen had many women, girls and girls. Some ladies came to "Maya" with their husbands. I put my hand on the stove. She was cold at first, then warmed up. Indeed, some kind of incomprehensible force or energy emanated from the dolmen. Or maybe this energy of love? I remembered the story of a scientist I knew, who claimed that our ancestors practiced meditation in these “houses”, lay down inside and went into a trance for weeks, and sometimes even months, and thus “charged” the buildings with their powerful energy for centuries.

"Khan" does not forgive insults

Literally a few meters from the "dolmen of love" is the "dolmen of health" or it is also called "Khan". According to popular belief, it helps to gain not only physical health, but also peace of mind, helps to find the right life guidelines, determine the field of activity, choose the right path. This is probably why, in addition to people who want to be healed of ailments, unhurried conversations were held around him by students of the Krasnodar University.

We come here not for the first time, - said Yegor Smirnov, - do not believe it, but with the support of "Khan" I passed the session with "excellent", now I receive an increased scholarship.

Why, I really believe, - I answer the talkative boy.

Approaching the "Khan" I see that his right corner has been recaptured. This is how much force it took to beat off a piece from a solid stone slab! And after walking a couple of steps, I saw a lonely fragment lying. A local resident, Anton Evgenyevich Lomakin, walking nearby, told me that barbarism was the work of one of the pilgrims. After standing by the dolmen, he felt an unprecedented burst of energy and decided to… break off a piece of “Khan” in order to recharge his energy at home. Arriving under the cover of night, the peasant broke off a piece from the dolmen - the energy of "Khan" may have nourished the fool, but he obviously did not add his mind! Grabbing the coveted piece, the pilgrim started to run, but then the unexpected happened: the strength left the robber and he fell to the ground. With great difficulty, the unfortunate tourist left this place, and a piece of "Khan" remained lying on his land. Local residents are sure that it was the spirit of the dolmen that punished the villain.

"Tenderness" is hiding in the forest

From the dolmen there is a winding path, along it you can go to the mountain river - Doguab and enjoy the murmur of running water, in which fish flicker, and the singing of birds. After resting by the river, we return back and go along a different path to the Tenderness dolmen, which is “hidden” away from human eyes. And yes, it is the hardest to get to. From the forest path every now and then the roots of trees stick out and you need to carefully look under your feet. And here is the dolmen "Tenderness". Unlike his counterparts, he is short and much wider than them. It is located in the forest itself under the reliable protection of perennial trees. It would be impossible to find it if it were not for the signs and paths laid by thousands of people. If you are a mother, then you must definitely visit this dolmen. It's better to bring your children with you. After all, this forest dweller helps maternal feelings flourish, protects babies and adult children from illness and life's hardships, and strengthens family relationships. Therefore, around him you can often see families in full force. The women told me that their children after an excursion to this dolmen become calmer, sleep well, become more diligent. One of the interlocutors shared that she was generally in despair, her teenage son completely got out of hand, became rude, and even began to apply to the bottle. She sat for an hour near the dolmen of tenderness. And when she came home, you won’t believe it, her son met her at the door and asked for forgiveness. This time the woman came with her son to recharge with positive energy.

Thor will protect evil

From communication with dolmens, I received such a colossal boost of energy that I didn’t rise, but flew up to the very top of the mountain to the “dolmen of success” or “Tor”, as it is called locals. "Thor" helps to achieve success in all good (!) Undertakings. They say that people with bad thoughts are simply not able to climb to the top, the spirit of the dolmen poses all sorts of obstacles to them, then their strength will run out for no reason, then their head will spin, then their leg will turn up, seemingly out of the blue. But Sergey Novitsky, a businessman from Moscow, who has a chain of shops and is involved in charity work, sponsoring orphanages, comes to this dolmen once every six months and is sure that he helps him cope with competition and make a good profit, part of which he will definitely give to orphaned children.

And next to the dolmens there is a honey fair, where you can taste and buy real honey. You can't imagine how pleasant it is after such an ascent to the dolmens to eat a spoon - another real mountain honey! Here and dark chestnut, and viscous lime, and fragrant acacia.

Issue price

If you don't have a car, you can get to the dolmens by bus, which departs from the bus station in Gelendzhik. The ticket price is from 20 to 50 rubles, depending on the comfort and location of transport. Also, you will be offered their services by "private traders", who will take within 300 rubles.

An adult ticket costs 150 rubles, a child ticket costs 50 rubles.

Dolmens of Pshada

Dolmen - ancient megalithic structures consisting of several vertically placed stones covered with a flat stone slab. One slab of such a structure weighs an average of 20 tons. The name comes from the Breton "tol" - a table and "men" - a stone.

Few ordinary tourists have heard about such structures as the Pshad dolmens. However, people who are interested in history or esotericism know firsthand about the mysterious valley of the Pshada River.
The Pshada River flows in the Gelendzhik region, and mysterious dolmens are located in its various regions. Their exact age is unknown. Scientists suggest that the Pshad dolmens were built in the 2-4 millennium BC. Until the 1950s, they did not arouse wide interest among either travelers or researchers. Many Pshad dolmens are dilapidated, but most of them are now protected by the state. Outwardly, they are structures made of massive slabs with a gentle entrance.
It is believed that some dolmens can restore strength or even answer questions. Therefore, people who believe in the supernatural make a pilgrimage to them.

Dolmens in the village of Vozrozhdenie, the Zhane River

Most tourist guides indicate that there are 4 dolmens here, but in fact there are more. Pshad dolmens in the village of Vozrozhdenie can be called the main sightseeing objects - large buses with sightseers often come here, so if you are interested in meditation or getting an answer to a question, then this is not the place you need.
Here you can meet campgrounds, and not far from the dolmens - even small stalls where you can buy souvenirs.
In summer, bard concerts and festivals are held near the dolmens.

Farm "Dolmen"

It is located next to the Doguab River. The economy itself is not crowded, but extremely civilized: cafes, urns, toilets and other benefits of civilization are at the full disposal of tourists.
Dolmens are located near the entrance, and you can walk around them (at least briefly) in about half an hour. The names of the dolmens are written on the signs, so it is impossible to get lost here.
The dolmens of Pshada, located in the farm, are named Tor, Tenderness, Khan and Maya. It is believed that Thor helps to gain self-confidence, Tenderness is responsible for the health and well-being of children, Khan - for the health of adults, and Maya - provides assistance in love.
According to tourists, the Pshad dolmens require a respectful attitude towards themselves. Those who decide to laugh at them or commit offensive acts will face unpleasant consequences.
Entrance to the territory of the farm is paid.

Mount Nexis

On Mount Nexis there are 2 dolmens - Lunar and Solar. According to popular beliefs, you need to come to the Lunar Dolmen at sunset, and to the Solar Dolmen - at dawn. At this time, they have maximum strength.
Tourists reach these dolmens infrequently, and excursions are extremely rare. In order to have time to properly explore the surroundings, it is better to come here with an overnight stay. You can spend the night in the dolmens themselves or in tents. The main thing is to take care of the bed. Campers should pay attention to strong winds.
The view from Mount Nexis is amazing. The bay of Gelendzhik looks especially picturesque.

How to get there

Buses depart from the lower bus station of Gelendzhik about 10 times a day. You need to get off at the stops "Vozrozhdenie" or "Pshada". The fare is slightly higher than in public transport. Entrance to the territory of the dolmens is paid.
You can also sign up for a guided tour here.

To the dolmens of the Pshado valley, excursions from other resort regions Krasnodar Territory, from Anapa, Taman, Sochi and others.

Not far from the village of Pshada, there is the Dolmen farming enterprise, where you can see several interesting dolmens, wander through the forest, and also buy farm products. But, of course, most people come here just for the sake of dolmens.

The Caucasus holds many mysteries. One of them is dolmens created by the bearers of the dolmen culture of the Western Caucasus (Middle Bronze Age, the first half of the 3rd millennium - the second half of the 2nd millennium BC). Dolmens can be found on a fairly vast territory - on Taman Peninsula, in Krasnodar Territory, Adygea. Until recently, there were dolmens in the Stavropol Territory.

The local population revered dolmens. However, after the Caucasian War, their destruction began: the stones were taken away for construction needs, "black diggers" looked for countless treasures in them. They got it from various kinds of "esotericists" ...

Dolmens hide many mysteries. Scientists, owning a large amount of material and comparing Caucasian dolmens with similar structures in many other parts of Europe and Africa, consider them megalithic tombs and ancient family sanctuaries.

The fact that dolmens were used as tombs is evidenced, in particular, by dolmen from the Kolikho river(next to the village of Agui-Shapsug, Tuapse district of the Krasnodar Territory). It dates back to approximately the 2nd millennium BC. For approximately 450 years, it was used as a family tomb, as evidenced by over 70 mummified remains found inside. Then he was buried under a powerful landslide, which saved him from looting. The dolmen was discovered in 2008 after a seasonal flood, when it was exposed in the bed of the Kolikho River.

At the same place, the Kolikho dolmen, as it was called, could not be preserved. Therefore, in 2012, a 5-ton dolmen was dismantled and transported to the State Historical Museum in Moscow, where it is now exhibited in the hall dedicated to the Bronze Age.

In the same 2008, floods washed dolmen in the channel of the river Shepsi, inside which human remains were also found, as well as jewelry and household items. Now the dolmen is in the vaults of the Tuapse Museum of Local History named after N.G. Poletaev, negotiations are underway to transfer it to the Hermitage in St. Petersburg.

However, non-scientific points of view are now widespread: dolmens are endowed with supernatural qualities, they are declared conductors of “cosmic energies”.

Peasant farming of the Bambakovs "Dolmen"

Dolmens were on the verge of extinction. And therefore, any activity aimed at preserving dolmens, the opportunity to get acquainted with them, can only be welcomed. One of these places is the Dolmen farm, founded in 1991 by Stanislav Prokofievich Bambakov.

Not far from the village of Pshada, next to the Tor dolmen, he rented 2 hectares of land. The places nearby, where three more dolmens stood, were in a deplorable state - mountains of garbage, wild tourists, inscriptions disfiguring dolmens. Stanislav Prokofievich also rented these lands. He cleared the territory, laid paths, put signs. This made it possible to preserve the dolmens, to make people's stay here pleasant and civilized.

Gardens, an apiary, tourism - this is what the Bambakov farm lives today. Stanislav Prokofievich died in 1999, and now his son Sergei Stanislavovich Bambakov is in charge of the family business.

Our trip to the Pshad dolmens

We were driving along the road towards Pshada. We passed the Mikhailovsky Pass - the border between the temperate and subtropical zones, then drove into a valley surrounded by mountains. To the right, in the direction of travel, a pointer to the Pshad dolmens appeared. Naturally, it was impossible not to stop here.

In total, there are several dozen dolmens in the Pshada river basin, most of which are destroyed. On the territory of the farm there are four dolmens: Thor, Maya, Khan and "Tenderness". These names are modern.

Road towards Pshada

We left the car in a large parking lot and walked along the road. Entrance to the territory of the farm is paid - 200 rubles per person. And let some grumble that you need to pay money. My opinion is that this is correct - a lot of work is required to maintain perfect order here. Yes, and people will be more responsible for the place.

Information about the farm "Dolmen"

Entering the territory of the farm, we opened our mouths with delight: a waterfall, tropical plants, shops and cafes. And, of course, pointers to dolmens and comfortable paths.

Dolmen "Tenderness"

Of course, first of all we went to the dolmens. First - to the most remote of them and therefore the best preserved. It is called "Tenderness". A path leads down the slope to it through the forest, which then goes out into the open space and then dives into the forest again.

The road to the dolmen "Tenderness"

Acacia or some other plant of the legume family

And here is the dolmen itself. He seems rather squat. The stones that compose it bear traces of time and are overgrown with moss. It is considered a women's dolmen, helping in women's affairs - marriage, motherhood, ensures the health of children. In the distance flows the river Pshada.

Pits on the surface of the dolmen "Tenderness"

Some irregularities on the stone slab resemble a crater

The crowns of the trees closed around. Subtropical forest - how different it is from our Central Russian forests!

Then we returned to the fork in the path and went to two other dolmens located nearby - Maya (love) and Khan (health). The road there is also very interesting: visitors laid out the names of their cities with pebbles on the ground, someone installed small dolmens according to the model of the ancients.

Small dolmen (modern)

And here is the Mayan dolmen, which is responsible for love: it keeps from unrequited love, helps to attract the heart of a loved one and remain faithful in marriage. It is tall, with a perfectly round inlet.

Maya Dolmen of Love

Dolmen Khan

From the Mayan dolmen we turn to the Khan dolmen, which is believed to give health - physical and spiritual, helps to develop individuality; he is also "responsible" for the health and happiness of loved ones. However, esotericists bypass him: the right corner has been beaten off from him.

Health Dolmen Khan

The supports supporting the slab lying on top are modern. The dolmen is heavily mutilated with inscriptions left by modern barbarians.

Dolmen Khan

A road goes down from the dolmens, and we decide to walk a little along it.

road down

The river Doguab flows below. However, in the summer its bed turned out to be dry.

There was nothing interesting ahead, the trail became worse. And we turned back.

As you probably already noticed, there are very interesting trees and shrubs on the territory. Many of them are covered with various growths or are fancifully bent.

Then we again went to cafes and souvenir shops, and from there we turned in the other direction - to the Tor dolmen.

Tropical plants on the farm

The territory of the economy "Dolmen"

Dolmen Tor is located at the very beginning of the Pshad dolmen group and therefore is the worst preserved. Upper stone plate reinforced with wooden supports. Unlike its counterparts, it is located in an open area and has a slightly different style. It is believed that this dolmen brings a person good luck and success in all endeavors, helps to find one's own path and achieve the goal.

Dolmen of Success Thor

Back wall of the Tor dolmen

Spreads around beautiful nature, natural and man-made. Here, in the Dolmen farm, their perfect balance is observed.

After a walk to the dolmens, we went to an open cafe, where we rested in the shade and coolness and tasted delicious pilaf. And then we went further - to Pshada. Alas, ours did not really like the mountain serpentines, so we decided to return back to.

On the way to Gelendzhik there is one more beautiful place— the Natasha spring, the chapel of Sergius of Radonezh and the Rodnichok cafe. They are located at the very beginning of the village of Mikhailovsky Pass, on the right side of the road, if you drive from Gelendzhik. But we didn't go there.

This is how our trip to the Pshad dolmens turned out. If you go here, then take comfortable shoes with you to walk around the farm and see all the dolmens. And don't forget to buy a souvenir later!

Much of our journey was spontaneous. In general, we were not going to dolmens. But even when we were driving to Gelendzhik, we paid attention to the signs along the highway near the village of Pshada - “Dolmen Village” and “Dolmen 100 meters”. And we immediately decided that on the way back we would definitely look there, since roads of the worldbrought us here.
