The article explained by the space-time anomalies, or time travelon the basis of modern concepts of the existence of black and white holes in the universe. To travel in time considered the possibility of creating a time machine.

Keywords: space, time, timemachine.

It is known that light from distant stars comes to us for 1,000 and even 1,000,000 years. The star shifts significantly during this time, that is, its apparent position differs significantly from the true one. So far, there is only a version that explains the phenomenon of movement in time. Vyacheslav Dokuchaev, a leading researcher at the laboratory of the Russian Academy of Sciences, is studying the problems of time travel at the level of outer space. The scientist is convinced that time travel has been going on for many billions of years, the gates of time are the so-called black holes.

Space-time anomalies or time travel is the hypothetical movement of a person or other object from the present to the past or future. Often such trips are supposed to be carried out with the help of a technical device - a “time machine”.

There are three ways to travel through time: to the past, to the present, and to the future. Ways to travel to the future are:

1. Physical (based on the consequences of the theory of relativity).

2. Biological (stopping the body's metabolism with subsequent recovery). Ways to travel to the past:

1) through the so-called "wormholes" (English wormhole - wormhole), hypothetically allowed by the General Theory of Relativity - some tunnels (possibly very short) connecting remote areas in space, through a violation of the topology of space. However, A. Einstein proved that the wormhole will close before the traveler can pass through it;

2) in 1936, Van Stockum discovered that a body rotating around a massive and infinitely long cylinder can fall into the past. Such a cylinder could be a so-called cosmic string, but there is no evidence that cosmic strings exist, and there is hardly a way to create new ones;

3) you can finally do nothing at all, but just wait until the time machine appears.

Section "Philosophy of space and astronautics: development prospects in the XXI century"

One example of a biological journey into the future or a spatio-temporal anomaly is the next event that actually happened. Student Alexei, hurrying to the university, did not notice the open well hatch. The consequences of the fall were terrible. X-rays showed multiple fractures of the legs, dislocation of the arms and, worst of all, a fracture of the spine. In oblivion, Alexei had a strange dream: he again ran from the metro towards the university building, reading the abstract on the go. Suddenly he was distracted by the scraping of metal. Looking down, the guy saw the hatch of the well closing right under his feet, as if someone had pushed the lid from the inside.

Alexei began to prepare for the operation. What was the surprise of the doctors when, on the control images, no serious injuries were found, as if a completely different person had been brought to the hospital and examined the day before.

Is it possible to go back to the past and change the future? Modern science is not able to give an answer to this question, however, scientists do not exclude such a possibility, because the probability of time and space curvature is inherent in A. Einstein's generally accepted theory of relativity.

In different frames of reference for different observers, time flows differently, respectively, space also contracts and expands in different ways. A. Einstein believed that this is a real deceleration or acceleration of time. But other researchers argued that space-time anomalies can be explained if space and time are not considered separately, but if a mathematical, physical and philosophical generalization is made. It is possible that we do not live in three-dimensional space, and time is its fourth coordinate. Obviously, there are so-called anomalous zones on our planet, it is in them that time travel occurs.

One of these anomalous zones are the catacombs of the Kaliningrad forts. So, a group of Kaliningrad researchers, studying the dungeon of one of the forts, found themselves at the end of the 18th century and became witnesses of the French Revolution, or rather, even participants in the event. All this could have been both a dream and a vision, but, having returned to the present, the travelers discovered: the person who died in the past was not with them now, the researcher had disappeared. Many historians see the reasons for the anomalies in the catacombs near Kaliningrad in the ancient cults that were common in these places from the beginning of the 13th century, and in order to study the secrets of the Koenigsberg dungeon, you need to travel back to that time. Someday such a journey will be possible.

According to modern research, in the center of our galaxy there is a black hole with a mass equal to 4 million solar masses, and the size of the horizon where it is possible to fly up is about a million km, closer than which it is dangerous to fly up, because the attraction of the black hole is too great. Once in the zone of attraction, there is no way to go back. Scientists have called this threshold the event horizon of the black hole's attraction, which the Sun is so strong that even sunlight cannot fly out. That is why the holes were called black, nevertheless, astrophysicists were still able to calculate what was happening inside them. The fact is that the spatial coordinate inside the black hole becomes time, and the time inside the black hole becomes space. In the region of the event horizon, there is another horizon, which is called the Cauchy horizon, or inner horizon. Between the two horizons, a normal region arises, such as outside a black hole, where planets can exist.

When flying on a spaceship in space, some dark formations are visible. These are the entrances to another universe - black holes. Getting into them, strong effects are experienced in a short time and objects “emerge” into another universe. Perhaps this is how numerous UFOs enter our world, though it’s impossible to return back through a black hole, because, according to the theory of relativity, movement in the time tunnel is possible only in one direction, but scientists have their own solution to this problem.

In the framework of the theory of relativity, in addition to black holes, there are also white holes. The difference lies in the fact that it is only possible to fly into a black hole, but not to fly out, and from a white hole, on the contrary, it is only possible to fly out. According to a number of scientists, both white holes and black holes exist in our universe, and, having fallen into a black hole, it is possible to fly out of a white hole into another universe.

Although the stories of time travel look fantastic, they have a scientific explanation: academic physics has been creating a time machine for more than 50 years. In physics, a time machine is often called a space-time with closed non-space-like curves (that is, a space-time in which an observer can, in principle, meet himself).

Now there are prototypes of such a time machine - these are particle accelerators, the most powerful of which is the Large Hadron Collider. Particles of physics lengthen the life of 1000 times, for

due to the fact that the particles are accelerated to a speed close to the speed of light. If you disperse capsules with a person to such speeds, then he will make a time jump 100 years ahead, but for now, time travel is a fantastic reality. Experiments are ongoing, so the creation of a time machine is just a matter of time!

In 2001, a Japanese tourist appeared on the threshold of the Reed Flute Cave, not far from the city of Guilin. Presumptuous Countryman rising sun single-handedly made a journey through a huge underground labyrinth where others do not dare to meddle without a guide.

The Japanese sparkled with happiness: he overcame all the intricate corridors - and only once took a nap in one of the caves. There was no trace of joy when it turned out that he spent no less than three years in the dungeon - the Japanese entered the cave in 1998 ...

Time sometimes throws out amazing tricks! Time always flows at the same speed, which cannot be changed. Physicists, chemists, and philosophers agree on this. However, many people, describing dramatic events, say: Time seemed to stop. Beautiful words? No. Participants in the hostilities, in particular, said: they survived only because they saw bullets flying at them and managed to take cover. At first glance, this is impossible, because the human eye is not able to perceive objects moving at such a speed.

But the words of the narrators are confirmed: the soldier suddenly dives to the bottom of the trench, and the next second a bullet or a fragment plows the parapet where his head had just been. Stops of time occur, as a rule, in moments of mortal danger. The townspeople manage to notice icicles falling from the roof and jump aside. Construction workers dodge diving bricks. Tellingly, all the victims said that the object did not fly at them, but slowly descended, and they calmly stepped aside, not feeling fear.

Cosmonaut Vladimir Aksenov told how once his Muscovite stalled at the crossing railway. At that moment, a rushing electric train appeared from around the turn at 50 meters: in a second or two, it would inevitably crash into a car, and the driver would not even have time to get out of it. Aksenov pulled it out of the socket, and then again inserted the ignition key and gently pressed the starter. The engine immediately started up, the car went off the rails and froze a few meters from the speeding train.

However, it seemed to the astronaut that the carriages floated in front of him, as if in slow motion. He even made out the white as chalk, the face of the driver, who had not even had time to start braking ... In the alpine camp on Dombay there was a Georgian instructor named Vakhtang. He was not yet 25, and there was already a gray strand in his black hair. He admitted that he turned gray in one minute, having fallen into an avalanche: - I was walking in conjunction with my friend Gogi. I moved first, and Gogi remained to insure me at the edge of the snowfield.

When I was almost halfway there, I saw cracks snake through the snow above and to my sides. Then, split by them along the steepness, slowly, as if reluctantly, huge layers of snow and ice rushed down, although in reality all this happens in a fraction of a second. I didn’t feel fear, I acted as if I had nowhere to hurry: I looked out for a larger frozen piece of snow that floated by, jumped over to it and chose the next one. When I got out of the avalanche, Gogi could not believe his eyes ... I turn back what I want

What happens when it seems to a person that time is running very slowly or has stopped altogether? Physicists are categorical: any events develop within a strictly defined time frame. This means that the whole point is that the biological processes in the body accelerate in critical situations - nerve impulses pass faster, muscle fibers contract more often - although a person does not realize and does not feel this.

After analyzing people's stories about their feelings and making the appropriate calculations, the researchers came to the conclusion that the passage of individual time is accelerated by 120-130 times. As a result, everything around happens much slower and it seems to a person that time has stopped. This fact supports the same hypothesis. Those who experienced the stoppage of time say that everything happened in a strange silence. This is explained simply: when individual time is accelerated by more than 100 times, the sounds entering the ear turn into infrasounds that are not perceived by the human hearing aid ...

Nobel Prize-winning chemist and physicist Ilya Prigogine argued that one's own time is constructed by each person at every moment of being. The brain manages its own time at critical moments - it can speed it up almost hundreds of times, or it can slow it down. There is a good example of this. In the 1780s, the Boers, who began to seize the lands of the Zulus and the Xhosa, encountered a striking phenomenon - African medicine men spoke to their warriors from bullets. As a result, they attacked the Europeans, ignoring the fierce fire, and some remained safe and sound even when they were fired at point blank range.

The bullets didn't bounce off the blacks, but they didn't hit them either! The colonialists did not begin to deal with this riddle, because in the end all the conspirators were killed. But today the secret of their invulnerability can be explained: African warriors had the gift of arbitrarily speeding up their own time and dodging bullets. But this could not continue indefinitely, and they died ...

Long short minutes

At the end of the 18th century, the director of the Greenwich Observatory in England, Maxline, fired his assistant: his data on the movement of stars across the sky differed from the values obtained by himself. For a whole second. After 25 years, the German astronomer Friedrich Bessel acquitted his unfairly injured English colleague. He proved that in nature there are no two astronomers whose time marks would coincide completely. All observers register the moment of passage of a star through the crosshairs of lines, which they see in the eyepiece of the telescope, strictly individually: some - a little earlier, others - later. The difference in these readings is called personal time.

And recently it was found that this error depends on the age, temperament, health status of the observer and even the air temperature in the observatory. - 50-year-old Maxline and his 30-year-old assistant, in principle, could not indicate the same time, - emphasizes psychologist Peter Mengen from the University of Virginia. - The difference of just one second is incredibly small: the discrepancy could be ten times greater, because in old age the perception of the passage of time is different than in younger years ...

The psychologist conducted a very visual experiment. He split the subjects into three age groups and asked each participant to press a button whenever he thought 3 minutes had passed. It turned out that young people of about 20 years old are most accurate in determining time intervals. As the final recount showed, middle-aged people estimated the same time interval at 3 minutes 16 seconds, the elderly - at 3 minutes 40 seconds! When the researcher repeated the experiment, but at the same time complicated it by asking the subjects to sort the letters, the error in the estimates increased sharply.

Young people began to make mistakes by an average of 46 seconds, and older people - by 1 minute 48 seconds: - The older a person is, the more he overestimates the past time. That is why it seems to him that over the years it is accelerating its run ... However, not only age determines the accuracy of the sense of time. Fatigue, nervousness, enthusiasm can significantly distort the perception of the passage of time. The internal clock of a person is affected by temperature - both the environment and his body. When a person falls ill, he develops a fever, time for him begins to stretch unbearably long.

This condition is especially painful at night, when morning does not come at all. Recent experiments have made it possible to refine the average statistical error in such cases. If a person's temperature is increased by 2-3 degrees, then he notes the minute interval with an error of 35 seconds. This is a direct consequence of the fact that at elevated temperatures, many processes in the body proceed faster. Moreover, this phenomenon is also observed when a healthy person is in the heat.

By lowering the temperature, you can achieve the opposite effect: if you cool a person in the cold by the same 2-3 degrees, then after 30 seconds it will seem to him that a minute has passed. Finding out why the course of objective universal time is perceived differently by people, scientists came to the conclusion that this is primarily due to the different speed of metabolic processes in the body. In addition, as research by Dr. Laura KLEIN of the University of Pennsylvania has shown, discrepancies are associated with the production of hormones such as cortisol and vasopressin, which affect the sense of time passing. It is because of them that it seems to lovers that the minutes of a date fly by too quickly ...

In the loop of time

And yet the most mysterious phenomenon of time is the so-called time loop, when people and material objects from the past are transferred in some incomprehensible way to the future. In the Tyrrhenian Sea, off the coast of Italy, there is the island of Ischia, which is occupied by tourists all year round. The place is quiet, nothing extraordinary happens here, and therefore time flows slowly. But, of course, not so much that a person in his right mind could confuse the past hours with years. This is what happens with memory lapses.

This is exactly what the case with Kurt REINER looked like. One day in August 1997, this 25-year-old guy, all dirty and scratched, limped to the entrance to the Poseidon Gardens thermal park. He told the clerk that he had fallen off a motorcycle on a derailment and now had little idea where he was. Reiner was sent to the hospital, and the next day he gave his name, surname and the hotel where he was staying. However, no Reiner was found on the guest list. The mysterious incident was handled by the police.

It was soon possible to establish: in 1981, he really stayed at this hotel german tourist by the name of Reiner, who then disappeared. Then the investigation concluded that he most likely drowned while swimming in the sea. All the long 16 years (!) Kurt was considered dead. Where he was all this time remained a mystery ... An even more exciting story happened in 1961. An American pilot flew over the state of Ohio. The weather was disgusting. The plane now and then dived into the clouds, and in the gaps the sun beat into the eyes.

That is why, emerging once again from the cloudy milk, the pilot did not immediately notice another aircraft a few tens of meters in front of him. Laying a desperate turn, he miraculously managed to avoid a collision, but nevertheless struck the side of another car with the tip of his wing. After landing, the pilot filed an accident report, which surprised the airfield authorities quite a bit. The pilot described the plane he nearly collided with as a single-seat biplane with cloth-wrapped wings and guy wires between them.

In the open cockpit sat a pilot in a leather helmet and large canned glasses. Flight safety specialists decided that the cause of the near-accident was a copy of an old aircraft made for the filming of some historical film. Driving her to the filming location, the filmmakers did not bother to get permission to fly. On this incident was safely forgotten. However, a few months later, in an old abandoned hangar on one of the small private airfields, a biplane was accidentally discovered, exactly like the one that the American pilot described.

The experts who examined it came to the conclusion: it is impossible to fly on it - it looks like it will crumble due to dilapidation. But the matter was finally confused by the logbook found in the cockpit. It contained an entry dated 1911. The pilot wrote that during the last flight he almost collided with a large silver airplane of amazing design, which raced at great speed and struck the tip of its wing on the side of his car.

On board the biplane, the experts actually found a scratch in which microparticles of paint and aluminum remained, which completely coincided in composition with the material of a modern aircraft! It turned out something fantastic: the biplane not only made a 50-year chronological jump, but also returned back to its time ...

Attention: white fog

To understand this mysterious phenomenon, a well-known expert in the field of anomalous phenomena, the Englishwoman Jenny RANDLES decided to find and interrogate those who have been in the time loop. For 20 years, she managed to find more than 300 people. The reliability of their testimonies is not in doubt, since witnesses confirmed their falling out of time.

In early May 1968, the Argentine Gerado VIDAL and his wife went by car to visit friends. At the last moment, another married couple joined them. We decided that they would go ahead, because they knew better the way from the town of Chaskomus to the town of Maitsu. Soon the troop, riding in the forefront, discovered that the Vidals' car was not behind. Deciding that something had broken, they turned back, drove almost to Chaskomus, but the Vidals were never found, although no exits from the highway were found along the way.

The couple already wanted to go to the police with a statement about the disappearance of friends, when on the second day the Vidals themselves called them from ... Mexico City. How they got there, the missing really had no idea. According to them, they followed the first car when they suddenly found themselves in a thick fog and almost immediately lost consciousness. And when, according to them, they came to their senses and looked at the clock, only two hours had passed. They found their car parked on the side of a completely unfamiliar road. Moreover, the paint on the car was covered in small cracks, as if it had been scorched by fire. The Vidals turned to the first people they met and learned with amazement that they were in another country ...

The Englishman Paul BROMHAM also spoke about a whitish cloud similar to fog. Late at night he left the town of Little Houghton. Suddenly, a milky lane appeared in the headlights ahead, into which his car drove, after which Bromham lost consciousness. Paul came to himself in the morning on the outskirts of the town of Turvey, 16 miles from the scene. His car has disappeared. The police later found her in the middle of a muddy field five miles from Tervey. No one could understand how she got there, since there were no tire tracks on clay soil ...

The most objective information about how the time loop captures a person was given by a unique video recording made in 1995 at a chemical plant in Florida. Late in the evening, the guard saw on the screens of the monitors a worker who was walking towards one of the warehouses. Suddenly, the whole yard was filled with a shimmering whitish mist that hid the man. At the same time, the monitor screens flickered, and the picture on them disappeared. A few seconds later the image reappeared, but neither the fog nor the worker was in the yard.

This surprised the guard, because in a few seconds a person could not reach the warehouse, and there was nowhere to hide in the yard. The puzzled guard went there himself, looked around the entire site, but did not find the missing worker. The guard returned to the office and resumed his interrupted surveillance. An hour and a half later, the monitor screens flickered again, and suddenly the figure of an evaporating worker appeared on them: he was on all fours at the far end of the factory territory, and he was vomiting. The guard rushed into the yard to help the poor fellow, who obviously had something wrong. Somehow he dragged him to the office, put him in a chair and called an ambulance, because the victim was in a trance and did not remember anything ...

Whirlpools circling...

Dr. Jenny Randles believes that spontaneous movement of people and objects in time and space occurs when they fall into anomalous areas in the time stream. “We use the familiar expression river of time without thinking about its possible physical meaning,” she says. - Meanwhile, there is a scientific hypothesis that time is material. Then the same phenomena can occur in this chrono-river as in an ordinary river. For example, whirlpools.

When they arise in a real river, a leaf or a chip that has fallen into them circles for a long time in one place, then sinking to the bottom, then resurfacing to the surface. It is possible that the same whirlpools can appear in the river of time. They disrupt its smooth flow, capturing people and material objects and transferring them from one time period to another. Visually, such anomalies or whirlpools of time appear as luminous clouds...

By its nature, the river of time is nothing more than a flow of energy, most likely electromagnetic. Under the influence of the strongest electromagnetic field, people begin to get sick and dizzy, vomiting appears, severe weakness, coordination is disturbed. The same symptoms are observed in those who fall into the whirlpools of time. - If the whirlpool in the boundless river of time draws the victim very deeply, then it can throw it to the surface after many years and even centuries. Well, weak whirlwinds pull out and return a person to his own time.

I believe that they arise as a result of violations of the structure of the universe, - emphasizes Dr. Jenny Randles. - In turn, these anomalies form windows into parallel worlds and alternate time streams. One day man will learn to use them. And then travel from one era to another and to other worlds will become possible ...

Yogi Secrets

One of the tricks that yogis do is that they disappear in front of numerous spectators, and then appear - however, already behind the backs of the assembled crowd. Paranormal researchers explain the phenomenon of this sudden disappearance by instantaneous teleportation.

However, it may well be that yogis repeatedly accelerate the flow of personal time, as if dissolving due to this in the air, and so quickly slip past the audience that they simply do not notice them. One characteristic detail speaks in favor of this version. Western observers who attended such performances noticed that yogis always made sure that there was an easy passage behind them. It is not needed for teleportation, but for ultra-fast escape it is necessary ...

Temporary phenomenon on
Sicily

Recently on about. Sicily was registered strange
Phenomenon: for more than a week electronic
the clock is 10-20 minutes faster every day for most residents.

This phenomenon causes great inconvenience to the inhabitants of the island,
who are always late.

The phenomenon is truly amazing in that there have been registered
failures in more than a thousand electronic watch devices in different places islands.

Scientists from the Department of Electrical Engineering of the University of Catania,
put forward such versions that can explain what is happening: amateur radio
experiments, unregulated solar panels, or repairs to an underwater
electric cable, which has been underway since May.

But most probable cause temporary anomaly may be
Mount Etna, which has not been calm for the past few weeks. Maybe,
the activity of the volcano could cause magnetic radiation, which affected
electronic clock mechanism. Just as scientists believe the clock could be affected by erupted
volcano particles of magnetic minerals contained in volcanic ash,
which covered almost all of Sicily.

Going backwards
side clock in the Urals

A tornado flying over Siberia shocked people not only with its
impressive power, but also the fact that it caused a temporary anomaly. So in normal
Ural apartment of Yuri Ilyichev, the electronic clock went into reverse side as
once during a tornado. After the owner of the watch took it out and put it back in
battery, the clock started moving in the right direction again. Scientists from the institute
electrophysics of the Ural branch of the Russian Academy of Sciences, suggested that the tornado caused
electromagnetic force current,
which affected the drive of electronic clocks, forcing them to go in reverse
direction. But physicists themselves admit that they are faced with a similar phenomenon.
for the first time.

As in the case on about. Sicily, electronic clock failed,
which once again can prove the influence of electromagnetic forces, as suggested
physicists from Sicily and the Urals. But in the latter case, the electromagnetic field could
cause not a tornado, but powerful and frequent lightning that accompanied it. atmospheric
lightning discharges could affect watches, both with the help of an electromagnetic field, and
and generally change the course of time itself.

The assumption that lightning can affect the course of time
put forward Vladimir Emelyanov,
member International Research
Association "Cosmopoisk"
. Maybe this summer Cosmopoisk group will conduct an experiment,
which should confirm Emelyanov's assumption. The experiment will
be carried out in Ryazan
areas
, in a place called "lightning nest"(Based on LIFE NEWS).

Temporal anomaly in
Eltyubyu village

One of the most mysterious places in relation to time
is the Balkar village of Eltyubyu. In this place, clocks in some houses are always
lagging behind, in others, on the contrary, they are in a hurry, and for some visiting tourists, they
stop. But unlike the previous two examples, here the anomalies
are observed both in electronic and mechanical watches, which eliminates the influence
electromagnetism. This village is also famous for its centenarians, some
here live up to 110 years or more. And women who gave birth at 50 in this village
are considered commonplace. Here, meat and milk do not spoil for a long time, and
as well as other products.

Scientists from the institute terrestrial magnetism, ionosphere and
propagation of radio waves of the Russian Academy of Sciences, it is believed that the village surrounded by rocks is
the base of the pyramid, the top of which are the tops of the rocks. And the edges of these
The mountains are strictly oriented to the cardinal points.

Makes you think about the fact that the clock began to go crazy
in different parts world almost at the same time (Except for the village of Eltyubyu, here
temporal anomalies began to be recorded with the advent of the first clock in this place).
Even if scientists explain these temporal anomalies by the influence: in the 1st case -
volcanic eruption, and in the second - a raging tornado. But tornadoes and
erupting volcanoes have always been, but with such a phenomenon, as they themselves admit
scientists, they collided for the first time.

So has time itself really gone mad, or has it
Is it just the clock that's broken?

There are places on Earth where so-called chronal phenomena are observed. People there sometimes cease to navigate in time, and the clock fails ...

For example, in the Montenegrin city of Kotor, all clocks show the wrong time - some are in a hurry, others are behind. In the Middle Ages, in order to correctly calculate the time, the city authorities were forced to introduce the position of a state pedometer. This person was instructed to leave the house every day at sunrise and walk at the same speed, first towards the city gates, and then back. However, he had to look at the clock. If the duration of the journey in one direction differed in time from the duration of the return journey, this indicated an anomaly.

Interestingly, the inhabitants of the city associated hourly interruptions with a change in the force of gravity. The clock fails - then wait for the earthquake! The townspeople packed their belongings and hurriedly left their homes. Whether their expectations were justified or not - the chronicles are silent about this. However, the last earthquake in these places happened in 1979, and time continues to "strange".

To the east of Tver (Russia), between the villages of Tukhani, Soboliny and Sosnovets, there is the so-called Sandovsky Triangle. People here walk in circles for days, compasses and other devices stop working. Tver mine surveyor Valentina Zemlyanaya had to verify the presence of this anomaly from her own experience.

In the course of our work, we had to examine this area as well, - says Valentina. - And what: when we entered the zone, one of our comrades found that his watch had stopped. They began to compare, and it turned out that the clocks of all the members of the expedition stopped at the same time.

When we left for Tuhani, we asked the time local residents, and looking at their wristwatches, they were surprised to find that they were going quietly, moreover, without lagging behind. They again had the same time as in Tuhani, Sandov, Moscow...

Later, we told about the extraordinary phenomenon to the geophysicists who arrived in Tukhani. Intrigued, they went into the zone with their Sosna radiometric device, which measures the level of radiation and establishes the presence of magnetic fields. But the device turned off, and they could not do anything with it.

V. Zemlyanaya sees the cause of the phenomenon in the occurrence of sand and gravel mixtures underground. Hence, a magnetic anomaly arises, which affects devices and people. As for the clock, which either lags behind or runs correctly, then at the exit from the anomalous zone, the chronometers apparently accelerate and after a while return to a normal rhythm, so that people do not notice anything.

Something similar is observed in the Verkhovazhsky district. Arkhangelsk region, in archival records for June 30, 1912. It is said that the members of the scientific expedition, investigating the magnetic field, led by the scientist of the Imperial Academy of Sciences Alexander Loidiom, all the clocks failed at the same time.

In the village of Morozov, which is 28 km from Verkhovazhye, in 1944 they committed forced landing five military aircraft: the pilots simultaneously went off scale all the instruments, orientation was lost. However, this happens not only in Morozov.

Back in the 90s of the last century, geophysicists from St. Petersburg recorded a local geomagnetic anomaly in the vicinity of Verkhovazhye. According to one version, the cause of its occurrence could be iron ore deposits. Not so long ago, an expedition of three people led by the candidate of geographical sciences Anatoly Yekhalov arrived in these places. The researchers calculated that the center of the anomalous zone is located in a small forest on the river bank, one and a half kilometers from Chushevitsy.

Before entering the zone, they deliberately checked their wristwatches, but after five hours all the chronometers already showed different times; the quartz watch ran two minutes ahead, the mechanical ones were five minutes behind, and the electronic ones stopped altogether and showed the same time - 11.65!

By the way, even changing the battery the next day could not bring them to "feeling".

ANOMALIES IN TIME

Since 1840, numerous strange incidents have taken place in the northwestern part of the Atlantic Ocean, known as the Bermuda Triangle. Planes, ships with crews and crews mysteriously disappeared there for no apparent reason.

We will not retell many well-known cases, about which much has already been written. Let us, however, turn our attention to a few incidents where the victims (for lack of a more precise word) left clues before disappearing, hinting at what they were to face; and also on cases where people who experienced incomprehensible phenomena in the Bermuda Triangle region returned unharmed.

One of the world's most shocking disappearances occurred in 1945 in which five Avenger bombers carrying ballistic missiles took off from the Fort Londerdale military airfield for an exercise. Some time later, all five bombers were gone. The planes took off at two o'clock in the afternoon on December 5, 1945. The following account is taken from The Invisible Residents by Ivan T. Sanderson:

"The first radio signal from the lead aircraft did not arrive at the base until 3:35 pm, and, surprisingly, they did not request permission to land, but instead reported: "Calling the base. Urgent ... We seem to have lost our course ... We do not see the ground ... We we don't see the ground.

When asked at the base what their whereabouts were, a stunning response was received:

“We cannot give our location. We don't even know where we are. We seem to be lost."

When the base was advised to head west, they received an even stranger answer: “We don’t know where the west is. Everything is not so ... Strange. We can't get our bearings. Even the ocean doesn't look the same."

Apparently, the senior flight officer panicked and handed over command to another pilot, who also seemed confused when talking to the base. A few words were heard from the new commander, and then silence followed.

All pilots were experienced and weather excellent. The strange disorientation that continued throughout the incident indicated that the five planes were on the threshold of another dimension. The commanders did not report any obstacles they noticed that could prevent the completion of the flight. Nevertheless, they claimed that everything seemed to them "something different." Most likely, they entered another dimension from which they could not return. Thorough searches were carried out in the area of the disappearance, but no traces of the aircraft were found ... Until 1991. In the summer, divers searching for underwater treasures accidentally found at the bottom near one of the Bahamas all five planes lying in a row at the bottom. It is not at all clear how they ended up there so close to each other."

Sanderson also mentions two letters he received from a military pilot. In the first, his correspondent writes about an incident that happened to him when he was flying south over Korea in a B-26 in the late autumn or early winter of 1955. The altitude was 7 thousand feet, and the B-26 flew at a speed of 550 knots (1000 kilometers), while the maximum speed for this type of aircraft was 285 knots (530 kilometers), which indicated a tailwind blowing at a speed of 265 knots (490 kilometers). ). Winds of 265 knots at 7,000 feet heading south are something unheard of and nearly impossible. In any case, the wind should have been felt on the ground, and there were no anomalies in the weather observed. The aircraft also had to experience severe shaking while entering and leaving its southern corridor, which also did not happen.

The second letter described such a case. A US Air Force C-97 fighter flew from Kwajalein Atoll towards Guam at an altitude of 12,000 feet (3,650 meters). During the flight, the cruising speed suddenly increased, as if being pushed by a 200-knot (370-kilometer) wind. Then the speed decreased to normal, and the strong wind stopped as mysteriously as it had arisen. In any case, the Si-97 covered 340 nautical miles (630 kilometers) in one hour, which was impossible for an aircraft of this type.

Sanderson asked a senior pilot to do a thorough analysis of the two stories. The conclusion was categorical: these incredible winds most likely rose suddenly in very narrow, isolated areas and died down just as suddenly, but gently, so that there was no turbulence. The last comment was: "Something very strange is going on here."

Never accepting this explanation, Sanderson puts forward a very interesting theory. He suggests that the planes may have become trapped in local "time anomalies" in which time passes more slowly. Thus, he argues, "planes flew relatively longer" and returned earlier. He believes that if planes enter a temporal anomaly in which time flows faster, their speed slows down dramatically, while the pilot attributes this anomalous phenomenon to a headwind.

Anomalies in time do not explain all the disappearances that have occurred in bermuda triangle, but the above examples nevertheless suggest the possibility of occurrence in this region distortions in time and space. In some cases, vehicles could be trapped in these curvatures forever. Indeed, most likely this was the fate of the five bombers. On the other hand, the two military pilots were apparently able to get out of these strange areas unscathed.

Scandal with dry cargo ship "Milena"

“You need to drink less,” the owner of the company irritably told Captain William Tooker, “and not involve the whole team in these matters.” And he added, already descending the ladder. "We'll find someone who can look after the interests of the firm much better than you can and keep the team in line."

And the whole point was that the dry cargo ship Milena, having left the Ceylon port of Colombo heading for Bombay - Karachi - Aden and further through the Red Sea and the Suez Canal to the Mediterranean and the Atlantic, disappeared without a trace for several months. In Bombay, which was less than one and a half thousand miles (2800 kilometers), he arrived later than if he was constantly moving, calling at the scheduled ports, almost around the world. Meanwhile, the ship's instruments stubbornly showed: not a single extra mile had been made, the course was laid optimally. The same was confirmed by the team led by the captain.

In the loud newspaper skirmish between the captain and the shipowners that followed Tucker's dismissal (many newspapers in England took the side of the crew and its commander) and at the trial, few listened to the sailors. And even those who sympathized with an experienced navigator with 20 years of experience and his comrades were very skeptical about their arguments.

“If you believe the former owner of the captain’s bridge of the Milena and the records of the instruments, which were obviously just cleverly reconfigured, Tuker must be reinstated at work immediately. But only in order to immediately send him himself, along with assistants and all the sailors, to a psychiatric institution for socially dangerous patients. Even the respectable Times made such a statement on its pages. You can imagine what the tabloids wrote...

Meanwhile, demanding reinstatement in the service, the captain, who fell into disgrace, referred not only to the readings of the instruments (although, according to experts, both the electronic log recorder and other equipment equipped with recorders were not opened or adjusted by anyone after leaving Colombo). The tape recording reproduced the entire radio traffic of the ship from the moment it left the port of loading. Scientists have seriously taken up this story.

At about 7 o'clock, "Milena" regularly got in touch, and then disappeared for those same months, while she was unsuccessfully requested over the air and even searched with the help of coast guard and aviation ships; she was eventually presumed dead. The tape recorder recorded all the negotiations of the ship with the shore. This was followed by a strange entry: “We were attacked. An unknown sailboat is landing troops on our board. Help!" This signal was not received by the radio services of either Colombo or Bombay, or the ships that were in great numbers in this part. indian ocean and the Arabian Sea.

Recording in logbook confirms:

“On July 12, 1983, at 1408 hours after leaving the tornado, it was met and attacked by a two-masted sailing vessel of unknown nationality. The attack was repulsed by improvised means and with the help of the Thompson machine gun on board. One attacker died. After that, he continued to move on a given course.

Doubts that Tooker and the crew needed to be urgently sent to a psychiatric clinic began and grew stronger after one of the radio and electronics experts expressed the following opinion in an official opinion: “Listening to the tape recordings submitted for research suggests a strange the behavior of the ether at the time of transmission of a signal for help. Coastal and ship radio stations, which had previously worked on neighboring waves and listened to on the Milena, seemed to have disappeared from the air. The receiver recorded a significant amount of atmospheric discharges, which, in their frequency characteristics, differ significantly from those that correspond to the area between 7 and 20 degrees north latitude and 70 and 80 degrees east longitude.

While experts were arguing and doubting, William Tucker, who soon received a new ship from the same company, and retired a few years later, stubbornly continued to insist on his, for many, absolutely fantastic version of events.

This is what the story of the ship's many months' absence looks like as presented by its captain and the testimonies of other living sailors from the crew. By the way, they sailed in almost the same composition for about seven years, which at first served to praise Tooker for his ability to accurately select people and work with them. After the start of the lawsuit, this circumstance became the reason for accusations "in the conspiracy of all the members of the crew, who spent about three months in revelry and rest, hiding the ship in a remote bay."

So, just a short story. Shortly after the last broadcast, "Milena" fell into an instantaneous flurry, accompanied by a strong thunderstorm and frantic, as the sailors said, "lightning discharges that none of us had seen before." Clouds and rain streams disappeared just as the previous episode of the film disappears during the film editing. The sky became cloudless, a moderate, albeit fairly steady, breeze was blowing towards us. “We had not yet had time to adapt to the instantly arising bright sun, as a sailboat jumped out towards ancient construction, threw the hooks on our board, and then such a-and-something began ... "

People climbed onto the deck of the cargo ship, dressed in a dress cut "from the time that long preceded the events from the book" Treasure Island ". It was difficult to make out individual words in the screams of the attackers, but everyone in the crew was convinced that it was not similar to any of the modern languages. At first, the team fought back with hooks and everything that came to hand. Then the first officer rushed to his cabin for the machine gun stored there and opened fire in long bursts. The rout of the attackers was completed after they managed to turn on the ship's powerful hoses and activate fire extinguishers with increased foaming. From all this, a wild panic began in the ranks of the attackers. The sailboat immediately rolled off somewhere to the side, leaving one dead on the deck of the cargo ship.

The body carried to the cabin was carefully examined. It belonged to a man who obviously did not know about the existence of soap, toothpaste, shaving accessories, etc. He had a wide, curved Malaysian-type knife with him. The dead man's clothing consisted of wide trousers tied with a sash and a goatskin vest turned inside out with fur. Pants were clearly homespun or made from tarred burlap.

The captain ordered the body to be transferred to the ship's freezer, and other "material evidence" was locked in his safe. The first order was not carried out. The cargo ship again fell into a thunderstorm-squall band of incredible strength. The storm lasted no more than half an hour. And further in the presentation of Tooker and every single member of the team looked like they insisted from the first moment:

“Believing that we were attacked by bandits using exotic camouflage, we once again contacted the port of departure and Bombay to report the incident. And they were surprised when the local radio operators, after a long silence, almost unanimously began to shout: “So you were found? Are you alive?“ We followed our course, did not go anywhere, did not drift in one place. For all of us, it was a huge shock not even that the company’s management came down with incredible attacks, but the date on the coastal calendars was the end of October.”

By the way, the cargo of Ceylon tea lost exactly as much quality as if it had been on the road all this time. The deceased disappeared without a trace, his belongings remained in the safe.

Oddly enough, interest in the incident with Tuker and the Milena was rekindled in 1991, after some clever hoaxers played "the return of the Argentine liner from another time zone." And the following happened. A little-known airline reported to the whole world that a Douglas plane that had flown from Buenos Aires in 1938 landed at its Bahia Blanco airport. The press was also presented with the DS-3 itself of pre-war production, and a young pilot dressed in a pre-war uniform, who spoke quite coherently about the “loss in time”, dressed in a pre-war uniform. The focus would have gone "with a bang" if ... At first, the "liner commander" was caught on the simplest flight ignorance and confusion in special terms. Following this, the retired pilot recognized in a color photograph in the magazine, by unknown signs, the Douglas, which he himself flew and which was decommissioned in 1948 for sale to a private collector. The trick failed.

And immediately, from the editorial dossier, they extracted the “scenario of the Captain Tucker thriller.” Forced to defend his good name again, the sailor supplemented the already available materials with the results of serious scientific examinations. They, including on the basis of radiocarbon analysis, undeniably recognized:

"a) the fabric from trousers of an old cut submitted for examination is burlap made in the 16th or 17th century and preserved thanks to the resinous substances impregnated with it; other objects can also be attributed to the same period: a knife, a vest and a belt in the form of a wide scarf, at least preserved from everything submitted for examination;

b) traces on the bulwark of the dry-cargo ship were left by sharp bent objects of metal origin, however, small particles of this metal show that it was smelted using a technology that has not been used for at least a century and a half;

c) the sheet, on which, according to the team, the body of the deceased lay, corresponds to the time of its production and purchase, indicated in the ship's documents, however, traces of a liquid of organic origin (presumably blood) remaining on it cannot be accurately calculated in time due to the huge the antiquity of their origin.

Actually, the last point and the loss of the body caused doubts even among scientists who supported the sailors 12 years ago and made a cautious assumption that the cargo ship could theoretically fall into another time dimension, the explanation for which can be easily found in the works of not only Einstein, but also his consistent and even opponents.

One of these scientists, Charles Moorey, argued: “The corpse, once in our time, could go through the usual chemical processes for the human body in the tropics. After all, it actually seemed to remain in the same space for at least three centuries. The reason for Tuker's ship being delayed? Obviously, the entrance to the “curve of another time” and the exit from it, which, from the point of view of the participants in the event, take a few minutes, actually last months. Things? So they are much outlived by their former owners in museums.

And while some gloated, while others dismissed the incident, the sailor and the explorer prepared a book. Over the years, they have collected dozens of eyewitness accounts and direct participants in "flights to other ages." Many opened up only to them, because they used to be afraid of being branded crazy, although they met not only with pirates, but also, for example, with cavemen or living mammoths. And whether it happened on land or at sea, it was invariably accompanied by thunderstorms or other manifestations of powerful electric fields.

Well, perhaps the representatives of science will not be in a hurry to make a psychiatric diagnosis to witnesses of phenomena and events that are inaccessible to our current understanding.

The Starfish Case

On October 16, 1992, the Indian ship Starfish left Bombay heading for Malaysia. There were 10 tourists and 39 crew members on board. At first everything went well, but on the fifth day of the journey, a violent storm suddenly broke out. Radio communication was interrupted, and the last message from the ship was: “SOS! Drowning!" And soon the ship disappeared from all radars of ships approaching the place of distress.

When the storm subsided, five boats of the Indian Coast Guard went in search of the Starfish. For several days they examined the disaster area in detail, but they did not find any traces of the ship. In all official reports, it was noted that the "Starfish" tragically sank and all passengers and crew members died.

Exactly three years later, to the day - October 16, 1995, in the same place in front of the surprised fishermen, a ship appeared from nowhere. The nearby ships received a signal from him: “Everything is in order! SOS is cancelled! The storm has suddenly stopped!”

But no one heard any distress signal, and there were no storms in these places for more than a year!

The astonishment of the Coast Guard guards knew no bounds when they learned that the mysteriously materialized ship was the missing Starfish. On board, the passengers held a celebration in honor of their salvation. At first, they did not believe that their ship had been officially declared dead for three years. The captain considered the statement to be an inappropriate joke. According to him, they sent the last distress signal no more than three hours ago, and the rest of the time they heroically fought the storm. One can imagine the horror of the members of the Starfish team when they finally realized that they had been deleted from life for three whole years!

Perhaps the incident described will seem implausible to some, but there are several other such cases known. In 1995, Louise Dupin, a Frenchwoman living in a small provincial town. It was not possible to find her, and her relatives assumed the worst. But a year later, to the day, Louise unexpectedly returned. It took quite a long time to convince the unlucky "traveler" that her walk lasted a whole year.

It turned out that on that ill-fated day, Louise went shopping. It seemed a little strange to her that not a single person met along the way. Suddenly the sky was covered with clouds, a strong wind rose. The young woman became ill for a while, and then she discovered that she had lost her way. After wandering for about an hour, she finally went to the local shop, sincerely wondering why all the neighbors were looking at her so frightened ...

Periodically, there are reports in the press about people who mysteriously disappeared for one or another long period of time, and then appeared in the same place. Scientists have repeatedly made attempts to study these anomalous phenomena, but so far none of the research results have been published. Meanwhile, in various parts of the world, people continue to disappear in this way. There is even some regularity. Usually, before disappearing, people observed a sharp deterioration in the weather. Suddenly, a storm or hurricane began, heavy rain, it suddenly became very cold. Most of the missing felt a aching pain in their temples, their eyes darkened sharply. Apparently, it was at this moment that a fantastic time shift occurred. According to the calculations of the missing people, only two, maximum three hours passed. Then they again found themselves in the same place where they were suddenly overtaken by a storm. One more nuance strikes. If a person believed that he wandered for an hour, then he was found a year later, and when the disappeared had two hours at his disposal, he was announced in real life two years later. It is noteworthy that the victims did not meet anyone on their way, and their wrist or pocket watches stopped at the moment of disappearance and return, and then started walking again.

There are several hypotheses regarding these strange phenomena. According to one of them, people are abducted by aliens, who then explore them for a long time. But this version does not seem convincing. Firstly, the "travelers" themselves do not remember anything about such experiments, and secondly, the similarity of such cases casts doubt on this.

More interesting, though controversial, is another point of view. Perhaps, in some places on the planet, powerful cosmic energy accumulates, sometimes breaking space-time relationships. A person who accidentally gets there at this moment finds himself, as it were, in a trap, out of time. But how he manages to return back is still not clear. Probably, the clue should be sought in the phenomenon of teleportation. In some ways, these two phenomena are identical.

Specialists dealing with the problem of the strange disappearance of people consider it necessary not only to study in detail the territories where such phenomena occurred, but also to examine the disappeared themselves. However, now this is hardly possible, because most scientists, despite eyewitness accounts, still do not believe in the gap in time ...

In addition to the strange disappearances of people, there were cases of objects falling into invisible holes from which they could no longer be removed. Sometimes such an object appeared later in another part of the world. In his book Strange Mysteries of Time and Space, Harold T. Wilkins describes a case in which a man at sea accidentally dropped a knife overboard. At the same moment, his wife (who was at home) was horrified to see that the same knife fell from the ceiling in the kitchen and stuck into the table.

Items fall into holes between dimensions, but they also seem to come back out of them. Almost every object imaginable fell through holes: pieces of red meat, live fish, cookies, even alligators. A strange substance called "angel hair" is often spotted in places where UFOs have been. It is a thin, white fibrous material that falls from the sky in areas where flying saucers have been seen. Such objects often fall from a clear, cloudless sky, when not even an aircraft is visible, which could be blamed for what happened.

On Earth, there are several such mysterious regions that seem to be in another world. In such areas, the laws of nature have almost no force.

One such place is Magnetic Hill near Moncton in New Brunswick, Canada. Cars, rubber balls, even water - everything rolls with ease ... up in this strange place. The forces acting on objects are not magnetic, because non-ferrous objects behave in the same way as those made of this metal. On Magnetic Hill, the forces of gravity act as if exactly the opposite.

Another strange place where things are behaving differently than usual is the Oregon sinkhole along Sardine Creek near Oregon's Grant Gorge. The Oregon sinkhole has a diameter of about 55 meters. Strange forces pull people and other bodies into the center of the funnel, so you have to deviate from the center to keep your balance. Objects even roll uphill on an inclined plane towards the center of the funnel.

Scientific instruments confirm the presence of the force, but scientists have not yet been able to explain its origin.

The strange forces at work on Magnetic Hill and the Oregon sinkhole can be witnessed by anyone. However, on Earth there may be similar strange places, acting only on some susceptible people. For example, the American researcher Brad Steiger in Mysterious Disappearances describes a person who has the supernatural ability to pass through doors to other dimensions. Some of these doors lead to gloomy, lifeless places, without sound and movement, others - to the past or future of our world.

If such holes in time and space really exist, then a person cannot reconcile himself and just watch how objects disappear into them. Let us hope that our knowledge will advance to such an extent that it will be possible to understand the nature of these phenomena.

History with AVB and others

Just 10 years ago, UFO reports were called "fantastic nonsense." But times are changing, and now skeptics are in the absolute minority. But since the majority of sane people recognize UFOs and their accompanying "reasonable" elements as a reality, albeit incomprehensible, it is natural to recognize the carriers of this "reasonableness", that is, the inhabitants of UFOs, as real. And here it’s not far from abductions, and as a result, to contacts with people, and even very close ones ...

American researcher Donald Worley, who has been dealing with the problem of abductions (abductions of people by aliens) for more than 30 years, personally investigated about 100 such cases. He claims in Faith magazine, April 1998, that the total number of kidnappings in the world is in the hundreds of thousands, maybe many millions! And without taking into account abductions, which the abducted do not even suspect! What happened is confirmed by indirect signs - for example, the sudden appearance of unusual abilities in the victims. According to Donald Worley, one of the abductees, Sandra from the state of Georgia (USA), acquired the ability to turn off street lights from a distance of 30 meters from the lamp! Another victim, Alice from Maryland, interfered with televisions and computers by her presence. Another abductee turned off street lights when he passed under them or drove past them in a car. Moreover, the devices did not record any electromagnetism in this person. The details of the incident were found out from the abductees by the method of regressive hypnosis.

In the last decade, cases of forced sexual contact between aliens and people have become more frequent. Donald Worley talks about one of them in detail. A woman named Pamara from Richmond, Indiana, knew absolutely nothing about abductions. She was pregnant, and this was confirmed by ultrasound probing. One day, Pamara and her family were driving home, and five miles northeast of Donald Worley's home near Abbington, Indiana, they underwent a collective abduction. The injured aliens were released after four hours, which, of course, were erased from their memory. But Pamara was writhing in pain on the floor of the car.

Later, under hypnosis, the woman said that inside the UFO she was flattened on the table and four "gray" aliens "processed" the abducted woman in various ways, including devices. Moreover, they assured that "nothing bad will be done to her." Then they plunged some kind of instrument into the body, from which Pamara experienced severe pain and labor cramps. “They took the baby out of me,” the victim said.

In general, it is too early to put an end to the problem of sexual contacts with aliens. Whether they are directed for evil or for good remains to be seen. Donald Worley believes that it is not for evil ...

Sensational tales of kidnappings, time travel, and sexual experimentation are easy to brush aside, but how can one doubt the credibility of a solid, respected lawyer?

Antonio Villas Boas was 23 at the time. He lived a harsh, unpretentious life on a small farm near the city of Sao Francisco do Sul in the Brazilian state of Minas Gerais, along with his parents, brothers and daughters-in-law. During the day, the family hired a worker, and Antonio worked at night.

Antonio was not particularly surprised when, at around 1:00 a.m., he saw what he later described as a "big scarlet star" landing at the far end of the field.

The previous evening, about half-past nine, Boas had been plowing with his brother, and they saw a "dim red orb" hovering about 300 feet (about 100 meters) above the north edge of the field. When Antonio wanted to get closer, the mysterious object rushed to the other end.

However, this time Boas was alone and froze like a statue, because when the "scarlet star" descended to a height of 150 feet (about 50 meters) above his head, he saw that it was shaped like an egg.

A blindingly bright object landed "on three legs" 50 feet from Antonio. In the front part, three shoots were visible, also with scarlet lights at the ends. The upper, domed, part of the machine rotated counterclockwise. After landing, the dome changed from red to green.

Antonio wanted to leave on a tractor, but the engine stopped. He jumped down to the ground and ran across the freshly plowed field. Someone grabbed him from behind. He pushed the creature away, but immediately three more fell on him. All of them barely reached his shoulder, and he himself did not come out tall: five feet five inches (165 centimeters).

Desperately resisting, Antonio was dragged up the ladder to the ship. He found himself in a brightly lit small square room with metal walls.

He was surrounded by five undersized creatures in tight-fitting overalls and massive helmets with tubes extending from them and reaching under the armpits. The thick-soled "boots" seemed to fit into the overalls, as did the large, clumsy gloves. From the appearance of aliens, Boas could only make out small, faded blue eyes.

He was taken to another, also brightly lit, oval room. There, the aliens made their first attempt to start a conversation with the prisoner. Subsequently, Boas said that the sounds they made were “some kind of shrill, completely different from ours. If they remotely resembled any earthly sounds, it was, perhaps, the barking of a dog. I still shudder at the memory of them, and even more so I won’t be able to reproduce: my throat is absolutely not adapted for this.

Failing to communicate verbally, the five aliens stripped the reluctant farmer naked. He was wiped with a damp sponge and taken to the third room. An inscription burned above the door, which Boas managed to remember and subsequently reproduce for researchers (the letters more resembled Arabic, but this resemblance turned out to be very distant). There were several chairs and a couch in this room. Boas had a blood sample taken for analysis. Then he was left alone. A strange smell filled the room, making him sick. After that, he noticeably felt better, and he gradually began to calm down, but then the most outlandish thing began.

Boas was naked for about half an hour. Suddenly the door opened, and a naked woman "with the most magnificent body that I have ever seen" entered. She, too, came up to Boas's shoulder; the hair on the neck, combed in a straight parting, was bent inward. They were very light, almost white - in contrast to the fiery red under the armpits and on the pubis. The stranger had a sharp chin, a straight nose, prominent cheekbones and large blue eyes. On the hands of Boas noticed a scattering of freckles. The woman had a slender figure; breasts stood erect; he also drew attention to the wide hips. What happened next was perhaps inevitable, and it is best to leave the floor to Antonio Villas Boas himself.

“The woman silently approached and glared at me, as if she needed something. Then she suddenly hugged me and began to rub her head against my face. The body seemed to stick to mine and trembled.

Antonio suspected that the smell that made him sick was some kind of stimulant he didn't need at all.

“Contact with the alien ended on the couch. It was a normal sexual act: she reacted exactly like an earthly woman. Then we caressed a little and repeated the act, but she began to resist.

If so, then Antonio also lost interest - and even took offense. “All they needed was a breeding stallion to improve the breed; but I decided not to attach importance: after all, she gave me a few pleasant minutes.

He had the feeling that he was being cold-bloodedly and calculatedly used. In addition, the woman never kissed him - "only lightly bit his chin."

Immediately after that (it didn't occur to Boas that his exploits were most likely being replayed on a monitor), a woman was called from the next room. Before leaving, she pointed to her belly and then to the sky. Boash took it to mean that sooner or later she and the other aliens would return to take him with them. (However, Brazilian scientists convinced him that she most likely meant her intention to give birth to his child on her planet.) After that, Antonio Villas Boas was given back his clothes and helped to leave the ship. In parting, he tried to steal some instrument as evidence, but he was prevented. Already on the ground, he saw how the ship took off, swayed slightly and instantly disappeared into the sky. Boas was on the alien ship for 4 hours and 15 minutes.

The case of Antonio Villas Boas so stunned UFO researchers that his name appeared on the pages of print only 12 years later. But, although this episode became a classic of ufology, nothing was heard about Boas himself.

However, in 1978, his name suddenly appeared on a Brazilian television program, but he was no longer a simple farmer, but Dr. Antonio Villas Boas, a respectable lawyer with a practice in a small town near the new capital, Brasilia. He married well and had four children. The only thing that changed in his testimony was a mere trifle: during the second intercourse, an alien took his sperm for analysis.

For hardened skeptics, the case of Antonio Boas has always been "a dark country boy's fantasy." However, now, 21 years later, a person with a scientific degree, who enjoys authority in society, is already talking about the same thing, intelligent, fluent in speech - in short, not a person who can be easily brushed aside.

It should also be noted that, unlike most abductees who testified under hypnosis (often twenty or more years after the event), Antonio Boas first spoke about the incident four months later - and without any hypnosis.

“The AVB Cases,” as it was called among ufologists, was long considered one of a kind because it included sexual contact – although in 1977 an even more sensational story was published in Germany by South African Elisabeth Klarer, who claimed that during 1954-1963 she had numerous contacts with a crew of two who arrived from the planet Meton from the star system Proxima Centauri. One of the Enlonauts, the astrophysicist Akon, became the father of her child (see below). Few ufologists took Clarere's revelations seriously, as did the claims of other contactees that they had visited other galaxies. Her story is not consistent with the laws of celestial mechanics.

Proxima Centauri is one of the three stars in the Alpha Centauri system and is a red dwarf that is too small and unstable for life to form in any form.

Until the 1980s, kidnapping stories were generally non-sexual. The classic pattern can be traced in the well-known cases of Betty and Barney Hill (abducted in 1961 in New Hampshire), Betty Andresson (Massachusetts, 1967), Calvin Parker and Charles Hickson (Mississippi, 1973), David Stevens (Maine, 1975), Whitley Strieber (State of New York, 1985) and others.

The events reported by these eyewitnesses followed the same pattern. First - the appearance of a UFO, sometimes accompanied by electromagnetic or other physical effects on the vehicles of eyewitnesses. The key factor in the vast majority of such cases is already apparent after the departure of the UFO: it suddenly turns out that events that seemed to take a few minutes actually lasted more than an hour. Eyewitnesses faithfully reported the incident to the police, the local ufology society or the sheriff. On their own initiative or prompted by relatives or ufologists, they were subjected to a hypnosis session in order to extract from the subconscious the memory of what happened at the mysterious "missing" time.

However, many of the abductees retain clear memories of this stage of the "visit" and do not need prompting or psychological drainage. At the same time, the actions of the aliens described by them practically coincided with the testimony obtained under hypnosis, which cannot be said about the appearance of the aliens and their ships.

As for the interior of alien ships, then, according to numerous testimonies of contactors, this is, as a rule, a brightly lit room, "sterile clean, where everything glitters"; "white or metal instruments" are conspicuous. The purpose of the instruments is soon cleared up, as the next stage of the abduction was usually a medical examination of the "guest", often very painful.

Betty Hill and Betty Andresson independently claimed to have been examined with a "machine from which spiked wires protruded like needles." Charles Hickson said that his body was "scanned" with a floating device resembling a large eye. Betty Hill and Betty Andresson said they had needles inserted into their navels during a "pregnancy test." Betty Hill was sampled from skin, earwax, hair, and nail clippings.

David Stevens has had his blood taken for analysis twice; he was stripped naked and carefully examined from head to toe with the help of some kind of small "box". Whitley Strieber claimed that he was thrust into the rectum "a huge and terrible triangular object with wires extending from it."

After examination, the abductees were either allowed to dress and leave the ship (some were transferred back by teleportation), or in very rare cases they were given a tour of the ship.

As soon as people were in the place where they were abducted from, the object was swiftly carried away.

Whether stories of alien abductions are true or fiction became a major point of contention among ufologists in the 1980s and attracted public attention. New York artist Bud Hopkins, after seeing UFO sightings in person, became fascinated with stories of abductions and used hypnosis himself to extract the hidden memory of the experience from the subcortex of numerous eyewitnesses. The writer Whitley Strieber, in his bestseller Community (later successfully filmed), used personal experience as a victim of an abduction and the testimonies of other eyewitnesses obtained under hypnosis.

Undoubtedly, Hopkins' book caused a stir in the media due to its new, sexual component. Many men talked about special devices with which they pulled sperm. An even larger number of women (Kathy Davis being the most notable) hypnotized the details that allowed Hopkins to conclude that the aliens are implementing a program of gene research and, perhaps, even interference in the genetic system of an unsuspecting humanity.

According to Hopkins, it was revealed under hypnosis that aliens first visited Kathy Davis when she was a little girl and implanted a device in her head that allowed her to locate her at any time. (Katie and other family members will be found to have identical scars of unknown origin on their legs. Hopkins explains them by testing cellular material, emphasizing that other abduction victims had similar marks.) At a young age, Cathy became pregnant, but the pregnancy ended unexpectedly and mysteriously. Under hypnosis, it turned out that before Katie became pregnant, aliens visited her, did an "unpleasant intimate procedure" and flew away. A few months later they returned and removed the fetus. Many years later, after she got married and had two children, the aliens returned and handed her a little girl - "the spitting image of an elf or angel." Obviously, it was her daughter from an alien. Katie Davis wasn't the only woman to get pregnant by an Enlonaut.

Many prominent ufologists, from ardent adherents to those teetering on the brink of disbelief, have had serious doubts about the veracity of the abduction stories dating back to the time of George Adamsky, who, he said, met a Venusian in the California desert.

However, if UFO encounter stories are a bizarre mixture of physical and psychic realities, it can be assumed that there is a rational grain in many reports of abductions - albeit of a strange kind. But there is a big difference between the story of a man like Dr. Antonio Villas Boas and the stories that Bud Hopkins put into mass circulation, and the key to that difference lies in the use of hypnosis.

The famous psychologist Carl Gustav Jung (1875-1961) believed that a certain number of archetypal figures are stored in the subconscious of each person (archetypes are the original, innate mental structures, images and motives that make up the content of the so-called collective subconscious and underlie the universal symbolism of dreams, myths , fairy tales and other creations of fantasy, including fiction) - from the old wise men to monsters. Jung attributed UFOs to the creations of human consciousness, symbols projected onto environment. If Jung lived longer, he would be interested to know that UFO passengers reproduce archetypes of appearance and behavior, which he attributed to the fruits of the collective subconscious.

Despite its many advantages in various situations, hypnosis cannot be considered a reliable tool for exploring the recesses of memory, unless the hypnotist is extremely careful in the methods and content of the questions. One of the problems is that the false memory prompted by the hypnotist can take root in consciousness and, felt as reality, will be strengthened from session to session.

There is an opinion among ufologists that Hopkins' conclusions, based on hypnosis of abduction victims, have a significant flaw. Critics argue that he is too obsessed with his idea to be a conscientious researcher. Hopkins did not specifically train in hypnosis, just as he did not study psychology. Opponents accused him of using leading questions extensively and unabashedly, letting the subject know which answer would give him the most pleasure, and also violating other rules that professional hypnotists adhere to.

But worst of all for Hopkins is that in the decades during which the aliens have been "doing genetic experiments on humans," a number of his key witnesses have publicly retracted their past testimony. In 1987, Cathy Davis, the central character in Hopkins' book The Uninvited Guests, frankly stated at the All-American UFO Symposium in Washington, DC: “I don't want to live with it anymore because I don't believe it. I don't believe it at all. Apparently it was something else."

Whitley Strieber, who received a million-dollar advance in 1987 for his best-selling book Community, admitted in 1991 that his impressions may have come from something other than "alien abductions."

Attentive readers of the book could guess this for themselves, because in it Strieber repeatedly hints that he happened to pass off fictitious events as genuine.

Even more serious was the discovery that even those who did not know or were not interested in UFOs, under hypnosis, begin to create in their imagination the details of the abduction, similar to those told by eyewitnesses.

This amazing experiment was carried out in 1977 by Professor Alvin Lawson, Dr. W. C. McCall and UFOlogist John De Guerrera at the Institute of Memory near Los Angeles. The reason for the experience was the stunning results of a study conducted by De Guerera. In the hope of getting even more details, eyewitness Brian Scott agreed to undergo hypnosis and "regression" - that is, to make "time travel" to the moment when his contact with the UFO occurred.

In a state of hypnotic trance, Scott described his alien abduction. But in a normal state, he vehemently denied that such a case had taken place.

Lawson and his colleagues selected 16 volunteers who, according to the professor, "knew little and even less interested in UFOs." They were introduced in general terms to the classic abduction scheme: UFO landing, visit on board, medical examination. At each stage, the participants in the experiment were asked what they see and feel. Detail after detail, the volunteers produced images and impressions strikingly similar to those given by "real" abduction victims.

Lawson also noted that the descriptions of both the "real" eyewitnesses and the creators of the imagined abductions coincided with the main archetypes that the psychologist Carl Gustav Jung considered part of everyone's subconscious fantasies. From this it was not difficult to conclude that people who imagined themselves as victims of abductions simply succumbed to unconscious fantasies sleeping in the recesses of the human brain.
