Baggage allowance on Aeroflot aircraft. Aeroflot - baggage allowance and hand luggage

Aeroflot is one of the most popular Russian companies. Thousands of passengers fly by its planes every day. To make your trip go smoothly, I recommend that you check the baggage rules with the airline in advance. I have collected all the norms and dimensions of Aeroflot in one article.

When setting their own baggage rules, airlines are guided by the general ones, which establish a minimum amount of transported volume. Most recently, airlines have been allowed to introduce no-baggage fares and carry 5 kg hand luggage for free. For the transportation of things from above - you can legally charge an additional fee. Aeroflot decided not to follow the path of higher fares and left its fares and baggage allowance at the same level. This distinguishes it favorably from the Pobeda airline, which maximally limited the conditions for the transportation of things. I already told you which ones.

The basic baggage rules for Aeroflot airlines are as follows:

  1. All baggage (including hand luggage that the passenger takes into the cabin of the aircraft) must be presented at check-in for the flight;
  2. It must be marked with special tags;
  3. On all flights of the airline, a piece baggage system is installed. In simple words, this means that one piece of luggage = 1 suitcase (bag). Even if its weight is less than the allowable one, you will not be allowed to carry the second one for free;
  4. The number of pieces of baggage depends on the class of service and the type of fare used;
  5. To find out how many pieces of baggage your ticket includes, look at the numbers on it - 1rs, 2rs, 3rs. The figure also renders the number of bags or suitcases that you can carry for free;
  6. If the total weight of the passenger's luggage, including hand luggage, is less than 10 kg, the number of pieces is not limited;
  7. It often happens that Aeroflot operates codeshare flights with partners. In this situation, different en-route baggage allowances determined by the dominant carrier may apply.
  8. On codeshare flights operated by Aurora and Rossiya airlines, the same rules apply as on Aeroflot flights. The exception is Aurora flights: SU3630-3639, SU4526-4545, SU4591-4629, for which the baggage allowance is one piece for all fare groups.

Aeroflot baggage allowance and dimensions

All baggage that a passenger takes with him on Aeroflot aircraft is divided into:

  • Checked baggage (the baggage that is checked in at check-in)
  • Hand luggage (taken in the cabin)

On airline flights, regardless of class, the following dimensions apply:

  1. for checked baggage, the dimensions must be no more than 158 cm in the sum of three dimensions;
  2. for hand luggage dimensions should be no more than 115 cm in the sum of three dimensions.

Norms free transportation baggage vary depending on the class of service and the selected fare. The minimum weight of baggage on an airplane per person in Aeroflot in 2017 in economy class (excluding premium fares) is:

  • checked baggage 1 piece up to 23 kg;
  • hand luggage 1 piece up to 10 kg.

Business class allowed

  • checked baggage for two pieces of 32 kg each;
  • hand luggage 1 piece no more than 15 kg.

For children from 2 to 12 years old, Aeroflot aircraft have the same baggage allowance as for adult passengers.

For infants under 2 years of age (who did not purchase a ticket for a separate seat), the free baggage allowance is 1 piece weighing no more than 10 kg with a sum of three dimensions no more than 115 cm. This procedure applies regardless of the class of service.

Special baggage allowance

In some cases, Aeroflot may establish special baggage allowances. For example, the airline has increased the number of seats allowed on certain routes or introduced privileges for members of the Aeroflot Bonus loyalty program.

What is allowed and prohibited to be carried on an airplane in luggage

In checked baggage you are allowed to carry:

  • crossbows, spearguns, checkers, sabers, cleavers, scimitars, broadswords, swords, swords, bayonets, daggers, knives with ejected blades, with locking locks, imitators of any type of weapon;
  • household knives (scissors) with a blade (blade) length over 60 mm;
  • alcoholic drinks with a content of more than 24%, but not more than 70% alcohol by volume in containers with a capacity of not more than 5 liters, in containers intended for retail trade - not more than 5 liters per passenger;
  • liquids and alcoholic beverages with an alcohol content of not more than 24% by volume;
  • aerosols intended for use in sports or domestic purposes, the outlet valves of which are protected by caps from spontaneous release of contents in containers with a capacity of not more than 0.5 kg or 500 ml - not more than 2 kg or 2 liters per passenger;
  • medical thermometer containing mercury, in a standard case - one per passenger.

Prohibited for carriage in baggage are, first of all, dangerous substances that can cause harm to other passengers or aircraft. For example, explosive or flammable agents. The greatest restrictions apply to the transport of things in hand luggage. You can clearly see what is allowed and prohibited to be carried on an Aeroflot plane in the diagram below.

Surcharge for overweight baggage

If your baggage exceeds the allowed weight or the number of pieces established in accordance with the selected fare, you will have to pay extra. So paying for extra luggage space on domestic flights will be 2500 rubles, and for international transportation the price depends on the country (from 2975 rubles to 6900 rubles). It should be noted that every third and subsequent bags (suitcases) will cost many times more. Aeroflot also takes an extra charge for exceeding the size by the sum of three dimensions. To avoid unnecessary payments, plan your baggage in advance, both in terms of weight and dimensions. The excess baggage allowance is an additional cost. The price of the excess baggage allowance depends on whether you are flying on a domestic or international flight. For more details on the cost of the surcharge, see the table.

If the free baggage allowance is exceeded in several categories (for example, the number of pieces and dimensions), the sum of the relevant baggage rates is applied for excess payment.

Oversized baggage

Oversized baggage on Aeroflot flights is baggage that weighs more than 32 kg (but not more than 50 kg) and/or the sum of three dimensions exceeds 203 cm. It is also called heavy baggage. The transportation of such cargo must be coordinated with the airline no later than 36 hours before the flight departure.

Skis

On Aeroflot flights, the following ski equipment is included in the ticket price and is regarded as one piece of baggage: a bag with 1 pair of skis and 1 pair of poles + 1 piece of baggage with a pair of boots (or 1 bag with a pair water skiing). If the sum of the passenger's baggage items and their weight do not exceed the parameters specified in the ticket, then no additional payment will be required for the transportation of ski equipment.

Snowboarding

The carriage of one snowboard in one bag and one piece of luggage with a pair of boots is included in the ticket price.

Bicycle transportation

According to the rules of the airline, you can transport a bicycle prepared for transportation as baggage. It will fit one piece of luggage. If you don't have any more checked baggage, or if your rate includes 2 or more pieces, you'll be able to take your bike for free.

Transportation of fishing rods

Fishing equipment is transported packed in one container or case. One piece of luggage corresponds to 2 fishing rods or 1 set of tackle.

For more information about the rules for carrying sports equipment, see the photos.

Other sports equipment not listed in the table counts as one piece of baggage and is included in the free carriage allowance.

Rules for transporting weapons on Aeroflot aircraft

A weapon (one item or a special container for transportation with several weapons belonging to one passenger) and one piece of baggage with ammunition for it are considered one piece of baggage. If the baggage allowance established by the tickets is not exceeded, then you will not need to pay extra for transportation. However, if the allowable weight is exceeded, then payment will be required. The gross weight of the ammunition may not exceed 5 kilograms. It is forbidden to transport weapons and ammunition in one container. Ammunition for gas weapons. Transportation of weapons is carried out in a discharged state.

When transporting weapons through the territory Russian Federation the passenger needs a permit for the right to keep and carry weapons. When importing or exporting abroad or transporting through the territory of Russia, the passenger must have a permit for the import or export of weapons issued by the Ministry of Internal Affairs. When flying with a transfer, the weapon must be re-registered.

Weapon simulators are not allowed to be transported in the aircraft cabin. They must be checked in as baggage.

For the carriage of firearms, it is necessary to coordinate it with the carrier no more than 36 hours before the flight departure time. To check in for a flight, a passenger transporting weapons must arrive 1.5 hours before departure.

Transportation of musical instruments

On Aeroflot aircraft musical instruments can be carried out both in the cabin of the aircraft and in baggage.

  1. In the cabin - the weight of the tool should not exceed 80 kg, and the dimensions should correspond to the dimensions of 135x50x30. In this case, the rules for carrying baggage carried in the passenger seat apply.
  2. In the luggage compartment, the general rules for the carriage of checked and excess baggage apply.

For the carriage of musical instruments, prior agreement with the airline is required no later than 36 hours before the flight departure.

Wheelchair, pram, guide dog

A wheelchair, pram and guide dog are carried on Aeroflot aircraft free of charge if used by a passenger.

In addition to a wheelchair, you can carry a special-purpose wheelchair free of charge. For transportation of an overall wheelchair powered by batteries and weighing more than 32 kg, an agreement with the carrier is required no more than 36 hours before the flight departure.

Favorable prices for Aeroflot airline tickets

You can check the prices for tickets to any cities and countries in the form below

Baggage rules Aeroflot was forced to change. At the same time, these changes went only to the benefit of passengers. The fact is that before this, the rules of the airline did not allow summing up the carried baggage. Thus, for example, a family of two with one suitcase overweight per person had to pay extra or separate things. This was against the Federal Aviation Regulations. The transport prosecutor's office of Moscow decided to intercede for passengers and the law, which successfully protested the actions Aeroflot.

Now the rules for carrying luggage on Aeroflot aircraft have become fully compliant with the law, and passengers flying together can combine their baggage.

Baggage rules on Aeroflot aircraft 2018

Passengers using the services Aeroflot are entitled to carry a certain amount of baggage with them free of charge. Its amount depends on the class of service that the client chooses. The only general rule for all travel classes is that the total dimensions of one piece of hand luggage should not exceed 115 cm, and one piece in luggage compartment- 158 cm.

Passengers can afford to carry most of their belongings with them. For each ticket, you can take two pieces weighing 32 kg each in the luggage compartment and one piece weighing up to 15 kg in the cabin. Passengers flying in Comfort or Economy class at the Premium fare can also count on two pieces of baggage, but already 32 kg each. Also for them, the weight of hand luggage is reduced - up to 10 kg. Least of all, it is allowed to carry things with them to customers who have chosen the usual Economy class - 1 piece weighing no more than 23 kg in the luggage compartment and one piece up to 10 kg in the cabin.

By the way, the baggage rules on airplanes Aeroflot 2018 provide free luggage and for children. So, parents of babies under two years old can count on one additional piece of baggage weighing up to 10 kg and total dimensions up to 110 cm. As for older children, aged two to twelve years, the same standards apply for them as for adults .

If the passenger could not meet the described requirements, then he will have to pay extra for extra things, as described in the baggage rules on airplanes Aeroflot 2018. For economy class, the second piece of baggage will cost an additional 2,500 rubles. All subsequent seats, regardless of the class of service, cost 7,500 rubles each. In case of overweight, additional money will also have to be allocated.

Baggage rules Aeroflot made it so that if the weight of the suitcase is in the range from 23 to 32 kg, then economy and comfort class passengers will have to pay the same 2,500 rubles. The maximum weight is limited to 50 kg and is paid an additional 5’000 rubles. The situation is the same with overall dimensions - in the range up to 203 cm, you will have to pay 5,000 rubles, and if it is exceeded, already 7,500 rubles.

When planning your trip, be sure to make sure that the weight of the luggage complies with the established norms. If, going on vacation, people still somehow try to pack a light bag, then after the rest they often face an overweight of luggage. The fact is that, being in some country, many people buy souvenirs and gifts for friends and relatives, because of which the weight of the suitcase increases significantly. Consider how much excess baggage on an airplane costs for 1 kg at Aeroflot.

Before the trip, many people think about what things and how much to take with them. Of course, no one wants to wear one outfit or use a limited amount of hygiene products, etc. In order to avoid problems during registration, and also so that you do not have to pay extra money for overweight, you just need to familiarize yourself in advance with what should be be the weight of the luggage. There are two baggage allowance systems:

  1. Weight, in which only the weight of the suitcase is limited. For example, if the allowable weight is 20 kg, then you can check in 2 suitcases of 10 kg each for free. If the total weight is more than 20 kg, then this is considered an overweight. You will have to pay for extra kilos. Even if you have several bags that are within the norm, you will still have to pay if their total volume is higher than the norm.
  2. The number of seats system is when the weight and number of seats is limited. This refers to the number of bags that you can take with you on the road.

The price for overweight depends on the specific airline that organizes the flight. The figures can be found on the official website of the carrier. Depending on the airline, the cost can be calculated:

  • based on the price of the highest economy class fare. In this case, 1 kg of overweight costs 1.5% of the total fare.
  • based on the cost set by the airline. On the different flights different rates may apply. Usually from 5 to 15 euros per kilogram exceeded.

Consider the tariffs on the example of the well-known airline Aeroflot, which serves both domestic and international flights. On average, many carriers have similar rates.

How much to pay for excess baggage on an Aeroflot plane?

Today, many Russians are wondering: how much does excess baggage cost on an Aeroflot plane in Russia? Also, people often worry about what is the fee for excess baggage on an airplane, the cost per 1 kg in Aeroflot? If we take the data as a whole, then the norm is 23 kg. For excess up to 32 kg there is an additional fee of 50 euros.

If the weight is above 32 kg, then the cost is 100 euros. The company also provides for a fee for exceeding the size of luggage. Normally, the size should be 158 cm. If it is larger up to 203 cm, the fee is 100 euros, if more than 203 cm - 150 euros.

In addition, Aeroflot has set a fee for additional seats: each additional seat is paid in the amount of 50 euro. Thus, if you take several suitcases, you will have to pay a lot of money. Therefore, it is much better to pack everything compactly in one bag.

What should you take with you on the road?

Every tourist is interested in the question of what things you need to take with you. It all depends on what period you are traveling for. If the trip is for several days, then it makes no sense to take a lot of things with you. Another thing is if the trip is supposed to be long. First you need to make a list of what you are going to take with you. It is advisable to start compiling it 1-2 weeks before departure. Every day you will remember what you need to take with you, and you will write it down, because the day before departure you can take a lot of extra things, while forgetting important things. Of course, you should always take documents with you on the road and cash. Here is a list of what to take from these categories:

  • international passport. It is not necessary to take a regular identity document on a trip.
  • insurance policy if you are flying abroad;
  • air ticket;
  • driver license;
  • money on plastic cards and cash. It is advisable to put them in different places so that in case of theft, at least you have something left.
  • confirmation of hotel or apartment reservation;
  • personal records, addresses, contacts, telephones.

In addition, it is very important to take medicines with you, as there is no guarantee that you will be able to get them abroad. If you suffer from some kind of chronic disease, you need to take appropriate medications with you on the road. You should also have tablets with you:

  • from pain in the head;
  • from pain in the abdomen;
  • from overeating;
  • aspirin;
  • painkiller;
  • patch;
  • disinfectant;

  7. Shower gel.
  8. Antiperspirant.
  9. Cosmetics.
  10. Sun cream.
  11. Small mirror.

Note that shower gel, balm and shampoo you need to take with you in one-time packages, since most hotels have these funds.

It is preferable to take their techniques with you:

  • mobile phone and charger for it;
  • headphones;
  • tablet;
  • small laptop;
  • navigator;
  • camera;
  • portable charger (if available).

From clothes, you should not take a whole closet with you, since you will not have time to put on most of the outfits. There is also no need to take a large number of shoes with high heels, it is better to take comfortable and practical shoes. In addition, you must not forget to leave a place for purchased items. In general, it is best to take from clothes:

  1. Several pairs of interchangeable underwear, including socks.
  2. Headwear depending on the season.
  3. Two pairs of shoes for the season.
  4. One smart couple.
  5. Hotel slippers.
  6. Swimsuit.
  7. 2-3 sweatshirts with long sleeves.
  8. 2-3 T-shirts.
  9. Several shorts or trousers depending on the season.
  10. One jacket.
  11. One evening dress.

In addition, it is advisable to take souvenirs for friends or relatives, a guidebook, a watch, an umbrella and other things at your own discretion. It's no secret that they take a suitcase and hand luggage on board. Valuables must be placed in hand luggage, for example, money, documents, medicines, jewelry, hygiene products, electronic devices, notepad and pen, camera and more. All other things that must be carefully packed before the flight are placed in the suitcase.

If you are bringing utensils or other fragile items with you, they must be securely packed so that they do not break, as luggage is usually not handled very carefully. The suitcase itself also needs to be packed. It can be glued with a special film or placed in a large bag and sealed with tape. This is done so that the baggage is not opened, and also so that it is not damaged. You need to understand that the airline is not responsible for your baggage, therefore, if it is damaged, it is unlikely that justice will be achieved.

So, we found out what the fee is for excess luggage on the plane, as well as what things you need to take with you on the road. It is very important to plan your trip well in advance. Only then it will be successful and leave a lot of unforgettable impressions.

At the end of 2017, President Putin V.V. signed into law amending the General rules air transportation passengers, baggage, cargo and requirements for servicing passengers, consignors, consignees. According to the adopted law, Russian airlines introduce uniform rules for carrying baggage on an airplane, with the exception of Aeroflot's subsidiary, Pobeda.

Actual!

Let's take a look at what rules are relevant in 2019 for carrying luggage on an airplane.

According to the adopted November law, the new baggage allowance allows for one piece of a bag or suitcase weighing up to 30 kg. Less is allowed, more is not. Individual baggage is issued for each passenger.

Important! Permissible weight things depends on the ticket category: economy, business or first class. The higher the class of the ticket, the more opportunities are provided for the amount of luggage.

For a child under two years old, you can apply separate baggage. The weight of the bag must not exceed 10 kg.

There is no single global standard for all airlines. It is worth focusing on the country to which the passenger is flying. For example, when traveling to Dubai, objects and literary publications of a religious orientation are prohibited for transportation, with the exception of Islam. Also consider the restrictions of each airline individually.

Excess baggage

So, if a passenger has purchased an economy class ticket, then he can carry baggage weighing up to 23 kg. With a larger load, the traveler undertakes to pay extra, but some air carriers allow a small excess without additional payment.

If you know in advance that baggage will fall into the excess category, check with your air carrier for the cost of the surcharge.

Baggage over 30 kg - heavy baggage

Carriage of luggage on the plane: the new rules equate the weight of more than 30 kg to the heavy category. Previously Weight Limit was up to 32 kg.

For such loads, you should pay extra for each kilogram. There are no uniform tariffs, each company sets the price at its own discretion.

In addition to excess weight, there may be an excess of dimensions in the sum of three dimensions. These things include:

  • mountain skis and other large sports equipment;
  • musical instruments, for example, guitar, double bass;
  • household appliances such as a refrigerator.

For the transportation of such goods, a preliminary agreement with the company is required. Before the flight, contact the support service. On the day of departure, it is better to arrive at the airport in advance, as it will take more time to check in a special cargo.

Some carriers allow ski equipment to be carried free of charge in winter time or diving boards to resorts.

Companies have the right to refuse transportation of oversized cargo if cargo compartments too small or not enough space.

Baggage free ticket

A number of airlines support the no-baggage service. According to him, the passenger flies only with hand luggage. This method has both advantages and disadvantages. The pluses include the low cost of the flight. The downside is that the tickets are non-refundable.

Consolidated baggage

For couples, traveling families, colleagues and friends, there is a luggage pooling service. You can put all things in one suitcase, which will be listed as one piece of luggage.

Fragile luggage

When transporting glassware, electronics and decor items, many passengers worry about the safety of things, because most often at airports suitcases are treated carelessly, thrown into a general dump.

In such situations, the traveler can check in baggage marked “fragile”. To do this, provide information when registering things, and the suitcase will not be allowed on the tape. It will be carried by loaders to the luggage compartment.

Note! The possibility of handling fragile baggage does not guarantee the safety of the passenger's belongings.

Fragile items that meet the parameters of hand luggage are best taken into the cabin. The main thing is that things do not contain liquid. Jars with jam and compotes will have to be abandoned by handing them over to the luggage compartment.

hand luggage

How much luggage is allowed on the plane? Amendments to the law on air travel that came into force in November limited the minimum weight of hand luggage. Previously, it was possible to carry at least 10 kg for non-refundable and return tickets, now the limit is from 5 kg.

Most carriers allowed a 10 kg suitcase to be carried on board. For transportation in the luggage compartment took an additional fee.

The new law means that the airline is obliged to take in the cabin from 5 kg, but if desired, it is possible to increase the weight upwards. For example, "S7", "UTair" and "Aeroflot" announced their intention to leave the previous norms of 10 kg.

Aeroflot's official website currently has the following rules:

In addition, the list of free items for carrying on board in addition to hand luggage has undergone changes. We'll talk about them below.

What items can be taken into the cabin without being checked in as hand luggage?

According to the old requirements, it was allowed to take the following things to the salon for free without weighing, tagging and registration:

  • costume;
  • notebook;
  • video camera;
  • camera;
  • mobile phone;
  • baby food for the duration of the flight in an unrestricted flight;
  • carrying for the baby (folding cradle or folding stroller);
  • books, magazines, newspapers;
  • outerwear;
  • women's handbag;
  • briefcase;
  • folder with papers and documents;
  • cane;
  • crutches;
  • umbrella;
  • bouquet of flowers.

Now the umbrella, laptop and cell phone are excluded from the list. The Ministry of Transport explained these changes by the possibility of removing the listed items in the bag.

In addition, the list of free items for transportation was supplemented with a new item - a backpack. The management of Pobeda Airlines confirmed the information that the transportation of backpacks will be allowed if its size fits into the established norms of the company.

For Pobeda, hand luggage restrictions will be 36 × 30 × 27, while the minimum ticket price will start from five hundred rubles.

Things allowed in hand luggage and with you

A passenger may wish to keep a number of items with him or in hand luggage. These include:

  • carbon dioxide balloons (used to activate artificial limbs);
  • eyeglass repair tools, including a screwdriver less than 50 mm long;
  • lighter or non-hazardous matches (only with you);
  • pacemaker;
  • other pharmaceutical devices, including on radioactive isotopes, with lithium batteries. It is allowed to keep only with you;
  • robot toy;
  • razors, including disposable ones;
  • eyelash curlers;
  • nitroglycerin tablets or spray for treatment;
  • oxygen cylinders for medical purposes;
  • injection needles for a passenger with diabetes or specialized medicines.

Actions on loss

No one is protected from losing things on air travel. Items go missing when loaded or loaded into the baggage compartment, they are accidentally sent on another flight.

In case of loss of personal belongings, follow the instructions:

  1. Make sure you have your luggage receipt on hand;
  2. Apply with a leaflet to the department of search for missing things;
  3. Write a statement;

Within three weeks, the carrier chosen by the passenger is obliged to find the items and return them. The parcel is delivered to your home for free, and the client does not have to go anywhere and pay for anything.

When returning damaged baggage or missing it after three weeks, you can contact the company with a request to compensate for the losses.

If the carrier refused to compensate for the damage, the citizen has the right to request a written refusal, with which he can go to court for further proceedings.

The Montreal Convention has consolidated an international agreement that stipulates the maximum possible compensation for the loss of a bag - 1131 SDR (artificial reserve and means of payment issued by the IMF). It's about $1500.

In practice, the figure depends on the specific carrier. Foreign companies pay an average of $20/kg. Major foreign airlines may pay the excess amount according to their internal rules. Russian airlines pay about 600 rubles each.

If a passenger has lost baggage while on an international flight, they should apply for a search no later than one week after the date of receipt of the items.

On domestic flights, it is allowed to leave a claim within six months from the date of loss.

Standard compensation requires a description of the missing baggage. If you have receipts for lost items, you can present them with a statement. Then you should expect a full or partial refund.

Advice! If you are transporting fragile or valuable items, insure them before flying with a declared value by paying an additional fee.

Baggage (including luggage in the cabin) carried by passengers is presented during the check-in process.

Keep in mind that the class of service and direction of flight have a direct impact on the rules regarding free baggage allowance.

The airline may accept baggage under its own responsibility (checked baggage). In this case, things are marked with a luggage tag.

Attach a name tag to each piece of baggage. The tag should indicate the phone number, date, flight number and last name (in Latin letters).

On all Aeroflot own routes, a simplified scheme for determining the standard for free baggage allowance is provided. This is a piece system. It is differentiated depending on the fare and/or class of service used.

Checked baggage allowance at Aeroflot

Business class: checked baggage - 2 pieces of 32 kg each, hand luggage - 1 piece no more than 15 kg.

Comfort class: checked baggage - 2 pieces of 23 kg each, hand luggage - 1 piece no more than 10 kg.

Economy class, Premium group: checked baggage - 2 pieces of 23 kg each, hand luggage - 1 piece no more than 10 kg.

Economy class, other fare groups: checked baggage - 1 piece no more than 23 kg, hand luggage - 1 piece no more than 10 kg.

For all classes: the sum of three dimensions is 158 cm (checked baggage) and 115 cm (hand baggage).

If the total weight of baggage (including baggage in the cabin) is not more than 10 kg, then no restrictions are imposed on the number of pieces of baggage.

If all flights are carried out on Aeroflot flights, then the presented norms are valid for transportation along the entire route. The exception is flights operated jointly with other airlines. In this case, the baggage allowance of the carrier airline is valid (section "Codeshare Flights"). The rule of the dominant carrier on the route is valid in cases where transportation is carried out on flights of 2 or more carriers, including code-share flights.

Exception: on Aeroflot codeshare flights operated by Rossiya and Aurora airlines (see Codeshare Flights section), the free baggage allowance for Aeroflot flights applies.
