A bit of history about the Savelovsky direction

By order of Savva Mamontov, who was a philanthropist, as well as a director and at the same time a shareholder of the Moscow-Yaroslavl Railway Company, a railway from Moscow to Savelovo began to build a railway from the capital to Savelovo. This event is attributed to the end of the twentieth century. The opening of this direction was carried out in the last month of 1900 at the Beskudnovo-Savelovo section. First of all, this section was connected with the Moscow-Yaroslavl railway using a branch called Beskudnikovskaya. But already in 1902, after only a couple of years, the Moscow-Beskudnikovo section was opened. Almost 30 years later, that is, in the 1930s, the Verbilka-Bolshaya Volga line was launched, but was soon removed during the outbreak of the war and only in 1950 was returned to its previous state and stretched all the way to Dubna, but this happened only in 1969 .

Modern progress

From the Sheremetyevo platform to the airport of the same name, a message was laid. Aeroexpresses are scheduled to run along it, but in 2010 four standard electric trains were launched every day in the direction, then they were canceled.
