Most large water park in Ukraine was opened on December 21, 2012 in the city of Donetsk. Its construction began in 2009 in Shcherbakov Park and today this structure delights citizens and guests of the city.

“Aquasphere,” which is what the largest Ukrainian water park is now called, was opened in a ceremonial atmosphere. The main advantage of the Aquasphere water park is its transparent dome, which has no analogues in any of the CIS countries. The diameter of the dome is eighty-five meters and the height is twenty-five meters.

The sliding structure, capable of turning the “Aquasphere” from closed to open on summer days, allows daylight to pass through perfectly on winter days (it’s worth saying that on a frosty December day, the air temperature here was +29, and the water temperature was 26 degrees in the common areas and 32 in the nursery). During the construction of the dome, modern materials and technologies were used, and all safety measures were observed.
