Flight school in GTA 5 online walkthrough. Flight school in GTA V

Summer school San Andreas, marked with the symbol, is unlocked after completing the story mission " Friends Reunited". As you probably already know, Trevor is the most skilled pilot of the trio, but even he will benefit from some extra lessons early in the game.

Now we have to work out an emergency landing. In this case, the bridge. This task does not evaluate the time spent, but how close to the last checkpoint you can stop your plane.

So, Mallard is already in the air and ready to descend. The necessary bridge is right on the course. Fly to the first checkpoint, do not reduce the engine speed yet. Start decelerating just above the beginning of the bridge, while trying to stay slightly to the right of the center - road traffic no one blocked on the makeshift runway. It is also dangerous to sit on the side, it is fraught with the fact that you will catch a lamppost with your wing.

If the landing speed is too high, the plane will start to bounce and it will be difficult to stop it. Try to solve all these problems before the marker, and then just drive to it like a normal car. If you see that you can’t slow down in any way, try the last maneuver - take a sharp left right before the checkpoint. Sometimes a sharp turn is enough to extinguish the rest of the speed. This is not, the ideal orientation of the aircraft at the finish line is not important here.

Loop the Loop

It's time to learn how to make a dead loop. Nothing complicated here, in fact, no. The main thing to remember: before starting the trick, the wings must be exactly on the horizon, and the steering wheel must be pulled straight towards you, otherwise the plane will go in a spiral.

Take off and gain altitude. Continue climbing higher after flying through the marker and be ready to start the maneuver. As soon as the indicator appears in the lower right corner, pull the steering wheel towards you and make a dead loop.

Stop the rotation at the end of a full turn and make sure that the strip in the corner of the screen is completely filled. Get ready to repeat the trick. In the meantime, you will have 6-7 seconds to climb a little higher if the ground and buildings are too close.

The third part is a little more difficult. It is necessary to combine the half loop with the "half roll". This aerobatics is called Immelman - in honor of the first pilot who performed it.

Again, pull the steering wheel towards you and look at the filling of the strip in the right corner. We don't need a full turn - stop the rotation as soon as the horizon appears on the screen, and the trick readiness indicator disappears. Now you are flying upside down and you just need to do a "half roll" to finish the lesson.

Helicopter Course (Helicopter piloting course)

During this lesson, you will fly the helicopter around the city and return back to the airport. It is called, from the fire and into the frying pan, without prior preparation. However, Frogger is stable and well managed, so the task should not cause big problems.

A brief excursion into the management of helicopters, if before that you have not flown them in GTA. The traditional throttle and brake buttons in a car (and partly in an airplane) are assigned to the pitch-throttle knob in the cockpit of a rotorcraft. In this way, you can change the angle of attack of the main rotor blades to go up (by pressing the "gas") or go down ("brake").

Lateral (roll) and longitudinal (pitch) control is assigned to the left stick of the gamepad. In real helicopters, the propeller plane tilts, which causes the device to change the trajectory of movement. AT GTA this is not simulated, of course, but the essence is the same. In which direction you deflect the left stick, you will fly in that direction.

The third and last type of control is track. As in airplanes, it is carried out using pedals in the cockpit. On the gamepad - R1 / RB and L1 / LB. These buttons are responsible for changing the thrust of the tail rotor, which allows you to turn around while hovering in the air.

There are 21 checkpoints on the track in total. Start and finish are located at the Los Santos airport site. You can see the route with all marked markers on our map.

As soon as the timer finishes counting down, take off vertically upwards. Above the roof, hold the left stick of the gamepad forward and jump through the first mark. Further - flight in a straight line to the bridge. In this case, the following markers hang in the air below the first one. "Gas" do not let go yet, the left stick is fully forward. With this control, the helicopter is gaining top speed but loses height.

Tip: if you're going too low, release the left stick a little (but don't take it back!), and if you're flying above the desired level, take off the throttle. Over time, you will learn to catch this delicate balance in order to accurately correct the position of the rotorcraft in the air.

The third checkpoint is also interesting because it is located under the bridge. There is enough space there, but the game will display a message, since this is one of the 50 viaducts and flyovers under which you need to. To complete the game at 100%, you need to complete 25 of these tricks.

Having slipped through the 5th and 6th points between the bridge supports, turn to the seventh over the concreted river bed. For a sharp turn, move the left stick of the gamepad to the left and hold / . Resist the temptation to fly under bridges here too, it will complicate the task, and will not give you a time advantage. However, if you are an experienced ace, you can try to slip under three bridges (between the 7th and 8th, 8th and 9th, 9th and 10th checkpoints). All three count towards 100%, but we still recommend visiting them outside of this mission.

From the 11th to the 13th checkpoints - flight over the road and between houses. There should be enough clearance between the buildings to feel comfortable, but remember that the main rotor overhead can catch the facade of the building, and try not to let it happen.

Checkpoint number 14 hovered right above the roof of the skyscraper. Continue the climb you started before the 13th marker and turn left. The next segment is a long straight line, where you can accelerate well.

The end of the task is the most difficult stage. In front of the 16th crown, which is hovering over the control tower, start a sharp turn to the right in order to pass this place in a turn and not waste time later. The remaining markers direct you to land at the helipad from which you started a few minutes ago.

Helicopter Speed Run

In this lesson, the main thing is speed. Your task is to fly through the checkpoints as fast as possible and land the helicopter on the landing at the airport.

Getting started shouldn't be a problem. Pick up speed over the Palomino Freeway, since the conditions and the location of the checkpoints allow this. The usual timer with the result for a medal will appear in the lower right corner, and another bar counts the total time allotted for the lesson. You can't linger here.

In the city, you will have to turn left, and after a short straight, turn right. Further - the most interesting. The eighth checkpoint is located above the arch of the red bridge, and the next few lead to the large Miriam Turner Suspension Bridge, which links the La Puerta area and the port island of Elysian Island.

There are two difficult points in the bridge supports, the passage of which will decide whether you will get "gold" or, having destroyed the helicopter, you will start the next attempt. The width limit here is not as severe as the height limit. At the same time, there is no time for braking, it is necessary to fly this place at full speed, accurately guessing the correct trajectory. This may take several tries. It is best to keep the camera directly behind the helicopter (right stick of the gamepad) so as not to wonder if it will have enough headroom. In the game settings, you can also switch the standard view from the "high" camera to the "low" one.

After crossing the bridge, turn sharply to the left to pass the mark between the two buildings on the way to the airport. The penultimate checkpoint is easily climbed, but landing can be done in several ways. An easier option: go over the roof of the building, guided by the map. Decelerate in advance and lower the helicopter vertically down onto the platform.

Another way is as follows: after taking the penultimate checkpoint, move straight and descend. At the same time, the airport building will remain on the port side, it will only be necessary to turn sharply to the left in order to get to the finish marker. If everything is calculated correctly, then the final time will be better.

Skydiving (Skydiving)

Distance to gold: 3 feet / 0.9 meters
Distance to "silver": 10 feet / 3 meters
Bronze Distance: 20 feet / 6.1 meters

Skydiving is on the agenda. In this lesson, you need to accurately land on a marker located on the roof of a multi-storey car park at the airport. The closer to the center of the "target" your character's feet fall to the ground, the better. By the way, this is the difference with jumping in GTA Online : in a single player game, it is the first touch that counts, and in a multiplayer game, the place where the character eventually stops, since he usually takes a few more steps by inertia.

To jump out of the helicopter, press / . In free fall, use the left stick of the gamepad to change course. If you just slightly direct it forward, then you can accelerate well, and the flight will resemble extreme jumps in wingsuits. Gravity in the world GTA works in its own way.

The task is not limited in time, so you can click in advance / and open the parachute. Use the left stick of the gamepad to control the descent: towards you - the hero tightens his legs and slows down the descent, from himself - he goes down and accelerates.

At a small height from the finish marker, hold down + / + to enter precision landing mode. The descent speed is slowed down, and the control becomes more responsive.

Drop Zone

Distance to gold: 0 feet / 0 meters
Distance to "silver": 7 feet / 2.1 meters
Bronze Distance: 20 feet / 6.1 meters

Another parachute jump, only now the task has become more complicated. It is necessary to land in the back of a truck moving along the runway.

The jump is performed with high altitude so don't open the parachute right away. We recommend that you descend as quickly as possible (left stick fully forward) and pull the line when there are about a hundred meters to the ground. In this case, the truck will be directly in front of you and it will be easier to catch up with it in speed.

If you overtake him, you will either have to make a circle in the air, or keep + / + and hope the truck arrives in time. By the way, it moves at a constant speed and does not adapt to your actions.

Earn Your Wings (Spread Your Wings)

The final flight school lesson that will test your handling of the Mallard aircraft in various situations. Essentially the same as what we already went through in the Flat Hatting task, only this time some of the checkpoints are special.

You can tell them apart by color. Yellow - normal, the same as you collected earlier. Green and blue are new. Greens should be held in the "knife" position, which is studied in one of the previous lessons. At the same time, it doesn't matter which wing the plane is littered with, the silhouette in the marker only suggests how to do it better based on the location of the next point on the distance.

Fly through the blue checkpoints in an inverted position. Ignoring the conditions is equivalent to missing the marker and is punishable by a penalty of five seconds to the total time.

Accelerate and take off. The fun will begin at the third checkpoint, which must be passed "on the knife". Roll the plane over to the left wing - this will help you make a sharp turn to the marker at number 4. The fifth mark - the "shifter" - is located above the bridge. If you can’t fly upside down for a long time, try to make the barrel so that you are in an upside down position at the time of the checkpoint.

The seventh point is another "knife". In which direction to do it there is no difference, then the flight goes in a straight line.

But the “knife” of checkpoint number 10 is best to go in a turn to the left, because it will be more convenient to stay on the route. Then a flight between buildings, but there you have already been in a helicopter during one of the previous classes.

The remaining few "knives" and a coup over the beach should not cause problems. The area is open, beware only the roofs of buildings and tall palm trees. There is no need to land the plane again, just pass the finish crown on the runway of the Los Santos airport.

P.S. It started raining while recording the video. The resulting turbulence greatly complicated the task. If possible, try to complete tasks (especially those that are on time) in clear weather.

What is San Andreas without a flight school? (Unless SA in the first part). Not without her and in. Piloting, as before, means a lot in, because this needs to be thoroughly trained. The basics of aerobatics will be learned in the story mission, and you can start the lessons at the flight school immediately after Ron's call after. educational institution located on the territory of the airport, marked with an airplane icon on the radar and map.

The course of study consists of 12 lessons. First, a recording is played with the instructor's explanations. In order for the task to be counted, you need to fulfill its conditions for "bronze", "silver" or "gold".

01. Training take off / Training take off

Gold: invest in 32 seconds
Silver: invest in 50 seconds
Bronze: invest in 1 minute

On the Cuban 800 maize you need to take off with runway airport and fly through two checkpoints. Half a minute is more than enough.

02. Runaway landing

Gold: invest in 35 seconds
Silver: invest in 55 seconds
Bronze: invest in 1 minute and 10 seconds

Now we sit on the same cornfield. It is necessary to gradually reduce the speed, do not forget to release the landing gear before landing and before the first checkpoint you need to be on the ground. You need to drive up to the finish checkpoint.

03. Inverted flight / Inverted flight

Gold:
Silver: invest in 2 minutes
Bronze: invest in 2 minutes and 20 seconds

After taking off and flying through the first checkpoint, we level the plane. After the instructor’s signal, we do a “barrel” until the strip is filled. To perform it, you need to withdraw the right or left wing so that the plane completes a full turn. Then we level the plane and wait for the signal. Now it will be necessary to complete three "barrels" in a row. This is a flight over high-rise buildings, so you need to coordinate movements well - we perform a “barrel”, we equalize, we perform a second time and fix it last. There is no hurry, otherwise everything will end in a plane crash.

04. Knife flight

Gold: invest in 54 seconds
Silver: invest in 1 minute and 15 seconds
Bronze: invest in 1 minute and 40 seconds

We continue to trick over Los Santos. After taking off and flying through the first checkpoint, we level the plane. This technique is the position of the aircraft, equal to a quarter of the "barrel". More information about such a trick as flying "on a knife" is written in. After filling the strip, we level the plane and do the same trick, but on the other side.

05. Flat hatting

Gold: invest in 2 minutes and 15 seconds
Silver: invest in 2 minutes and 35 seconds
Bronze: invest in 3 minutes

In this lesson, you need to fly a route of 20 checkpoints that are located at a low altitude. After takeoff, we leave to the left and, having flown over the industrial zone, we return to the starting point. You need to be careful with maneuvers and always press on the gas - this will be enough.

06. Touch down

Gold: stop the plane no further than 10 meters from the checkpoint
Silver: stop the plane no further than 45 meters from the checkpoint
Bronze: land the plane on the bridge

In this lesson, you need to land the plane on the bridge over the Raton Canyon. Having flown the first checkpoint, we gradually descend and press the brakes. With the engine turned off, we get as close to the finish checkpoint as possible.

07. Loop the loop

Gold: invest in 1 minute and 35 seconds
Silver: invest in 1 minute and 40 seconds
Bronze: invest in 2 minutes and 5 seconds

Learning another classic complex aerobatics figure - a dead loop. We take off at the airport, fly over the checkpoint and level the plane. At the instructor's signal, we direct the nose of the aircraft up, following the filling strip. Returning to the previous position, the maneuver will be performed. Then, having leveled the plane, the instructor will order to repeat. After the second time, you will need to complete the loop, named "immelman" in honor of the pilot who first performed it. It is a half-loop and half-barrel. Having directed the plane up, we follow the strip. When the plane is flying straight upside down, perform a half-roll, which will return the plane to its normal position.

After successful completion, you can return to the same lesson and, ignoring the task, complete everything.

08. Helicopter course

Gold: invest in 2 minutes and 40 seconds
Silver:
Bronze: invest in 3 minutes and 45 seconds

The lesson consists of takeoff, a route of 20 checkpoints and landing. We fly under the bridge to the Los Santos River, then along it, then we turn into the city center and return to the airport helipad. When landing, it is important to slow down.

09. Helicopter speed run

Gold: invest in 2 minutes and 10 seconds
Silver: invest in 3 minutes
Bronze: invest in 3 minutes and 30 seconds

Despite the fact that there are fewer checkpoints (13 pieces), this lesson is harder. The main thing is speed. We start flying northeast of the city and fly to the airport. The most dangerous area is two checkpoints in the bridge support. Having decently accelerated during the flight, you need to slow down at the finish line, since there you will also need to land the helicopter on the site.

10 Skydiving

Gold: land no further than 3 meters from the center of the checkpoint
Silver: land no further than 10 meters from the center of the checkpoint
Bronze: land no further than 20 meters from the center of the checkpoint

The lesson is a normal parachute jump. We jump from a helicopter hovering over the airport. You need to land at the multi-level parking lot of the airport. Since there are no checkpoints from the helicopter to the target point, you yourself need to decide on the height of the parachute opening. It is best to do this without delay, as the landing zone is far ahead. Accurate landing (a hint explaining which keys are responsible for this will be shown on the screen) will help you land exactly in the center.

11. Drop zone

Gold: land exactly on the platform
Silver: land no further than 7 meters from the center of the checkpoint (near the platform)
Bronze: land no further than 20 meters from the center of the checkpoint (near the platform)

The same parachute jump from the same helicopter over the airport. One amendment - you need to land on the platform of a truck that is driving along the runway. He goes slowly, so it will be easy to get there. It is better to open the parachute as soon as possible - so there will be more time to "aim". Most likely, at first, being at a height, it will be possible to fly the truck, but a few turns of 180 degrees will help to catch up with the platform. Before landing, do not forget about the exact landing. Hitting one of the sectors of the circle, even if you miss the platform, will also be counted.

12. Spread your wings / Earn your wings

Gold: invest in 2 minutes and 50 seconds
Silver: invest in 3 minutes and 15 seconds
Bronze: invest in 3 minutes and 40 seconds

The lesson is similar to "Aerial recklessness", the 5th lesson - you need to fly through the checkpoints above the city and the course goes to the left from the runway. But there is a fundamental difference - during this flight there will be not only the usual yellow checkpoints that you just need to fly over, but green and blue ones. Green checkpoints - those checkpoints where you need to fly to the "knife" position with the specified position of the wings (right or left wing up). Blue checkpoints - places where you need to fly in an inverted position - a half-barrel. If these requirements are not met, a penalty of 5 seconds will be added to the total time for each incorrectly passed checkpoint. If you ignore the requirements at all, then the lesson will not be counted. If you pass the special checkpoint correctly, there will be a bonus - 2 seconds will be taken away from the total time. Below are the checkpoints as they are:

Numbers 1 and 2 - regular (yellow);
number 3 - "on the knife", left wing down;
number 4 - regular (yellow);
number 5 (above the bridge) - inverted (half-barrel);
number 6 - regular (yellow);
number 7 - "on the knife", right wing down;
number 8 and 9 - ordinary (yellow);
number 10 - “on a knife”, left wing below;
numbers 11, 12 and 13 (between skyscrapers) - ordinary (yellow);
number 14 - "on the knife", left wing below;
number 15 - regular (yellow);
number 16 - "on the knife", right wing down;
number 17 - inverted (half-barrel);
number 18 - "on the knife", left wing below;
number 19 - finish.

This concludes the pilot training course. Having earned another plus sign for yourself, it is advised to try out the flight school lessons in GTA: Online, next to which the above tasks are just childish fun.

The San Andreas Flight School is where the best pilots in Los Santos show aerobatics under the strict guidance of D. T. Boyd. Getting gold medals in all 10 challenges requires skill, courage, and the ability to ignore death statistics. Here are some tips that can help you with this. Good luck pilot!

Reverse dead loop

Any skilled pilot should be able to perform a reverse dead loop. The difficulty is that in the allotted time it is necessary to complete two loops. In order not to lose time, tilt the left joystick forward exactly at the moment when the instructor tells you to do so. Complete each loop completely until it counts.

Engine failure

Don't worry about the time, the main thing in this challenge is to successfully land the malfunctioning Miljet as close to the marker as possible. Align the aircraft's tail vertically with the near end of the runway. While about a kilometer from the target, level the plane and be ready to extend the landing gear. Try to sit at about the middle of the lane so that you can carefully drive up to the marker and stop on it. Don't worry if you can't land on time or slow down in the air - the brakes will help you out.

Shooting range

In this challenge, it is important to stabilize your Buzzard. If your helicopter jerks from side to side, then bullets and rockets are unlikely to hit the target. Use a machine gun to hit individual targets in open space, and rockets against targets located in groups or in cover.

Landing in the city

Landing the Titan in the city is already a difficult task, and in this challenge you will also face a stormy wind and a faulty engine. While passing through the first checkpoints, try to stabilize the aircraft. Soon the instructor will inform you that you need to sit on the beach strip behind the Pleasure Pier. Fly as low as you can over the Ferris wheel and land on the beach just behind the wooden fence (but not before if you don't want to burn yourself) and stop at the marker.

Parachute chase

To jump without a parachute, you need to be either very brave or very absent-minded. Fortunately, this time you have a parachute - just not with you. After jumping out of the plane, accelerate your fall to catch up with the parachute bag. Take your time - there is no timer in this challenge (although the rapidly approaching ground reminds you that you should not delay too much either). If you fly past the bag, slow down your fall and wait for it to catch up with you. With your bag on, try to land in the center of the marker. Remember that you can hurt your legs if you land too fast!

Landing on a moving target

What could be more difficult than landing a helicopter on a moving truck? Do it in 19 seconds. To do this, you need to bring the helicopter to the beginning of the bridge and orient it in the direction of the car. Make sure the helicopter is only slightly higher than the truck and lower smoothly as it passes under you.

Flying in formation

Stay on course and follow the instructions to earn the gold medal for this Western Besra formation flight. If the checkpoint glows green, then you are doing everything right. When performing more complex maneuvers, such as a dead loop, keep an eye on the other aircraft instead of the checkpoints - try to move in sync with them. And do not forget to remove the landing gear, this is a gross mistake - with the landing gear down, you will lose speed and will not be able to stay in line.

shaving flight

To get the gold medal in this challenge, you'll have to fly low - so low that the spray of water from Lake Zancudo hits your plane's landing gear. It’s not enough just to pass all the points - you need to fly through their lower half, and the average flight height should be less than a meter. Study the route and determine which points are the most difficult for you so that you can prepare for them in advance. If you make a mistake at the beginning of the challenge, we advise you to start it again, as you will no longer be able to score the required number of points. Don't be afraid to turn sideways to get through the tightest turns. The Besra is a nimble aircraft that is just right for those turns. Calculate the best angle to pass the current checkpoint to make it easier to fit into the next one. And don't worry about speed - just don't step on the gas and drop the landing gear: this will slow down and protect you in case you hit the ground.

Collection of flags

You can't earn gold by reflexes alone - you need to come up with a route to collect all the flags as quickly as possible. First collect the flags west of the city - it's easy to collect them in order. Then head into the city and collect the flags between the skyscrapers in order of height so you don't miss any. When flying between buildings, extend the landing gear to reduce speed and increase maneuverability. Speed in this test is not so important, so do not abuse the afterburner and calmly fly towards the target. Finally, don't be discouraged if you don't succeed the first time - by trial and error you will find the best route. This map shows our optimal route, where the flags are numbered in the order in which we recommend collecting them.

Follow the leader

The final test is to follow J.T. Boyd on a route that strikes fear into even the most seasoned pilots. Follow the checkpoints, not the instructor's aircraft, and remember the colors of the checkpoints: gold = normal flight, blue = inverted flight, green = knife flight. During knife flight, control altitude with the rudder and use increased maneuverability to prepare for the next checkpoint.
