Train Station Vladivostok became a train stop for a day superior comfort"Imperial Russia", which makes a tour from Moscow along the Trans-Siberian Railway, RIA PrimaMedia reports. Passengers who did not spare money (the cost of a seat is from 5 to 10 thousand euros) for the tour walked around the capital of Primorye and tried local cuisine. The VIP train left Moscow on July 24 and arrived in Vladivostok at 08:00 on Thursday, August 4. From the capital of Primorye, passengers (mostly foreigners) went home by air, and at night the train with the tour departed back to Moscow. RIA PrimaMedia found out from Natalya Artamonova, a representative of the RZD Tour company, how passengers who want to see Russia in all its glory are entertained.

Reference: the Alexander Nevsky train belongs to Russian Railways and was launched on the Petersburg-Moscow route in April 2009. Already in December 2009, the flight was closed. By the 400th anniversary of the House of Romanov, which was celebrated in 2013, "Alexander Nevsky" found a new use - tourism. The tour "Imperial Russia" passes along the longest railway in the world - the Trans-Siberian Railway - and illustrates the breadth and diversity of Russia. The first rail cruise took place in 2014.
Tickets for the third in a year sightseeing tour"Imperial Russia" was sold out by passengers from all over the world - from Mexico, Brazil, France, Germany, Great Britain, the USA, Malaysia, Taiwan, Sri Lanka.

— Passengers are very impressed with the train, which is a hotel on wheels. Many enthusiastic reviews were expressed by foreigners about Kazan, Irkutsk, Baikal. They liked the landscape on the Ulan-Ude-Khabarovsk section. Many simply do not come off the windows. In general, each city of the route has its own zest, its own charm. Vladivostok, I think they also really liked it,— says Natalia Artamonova.

In Vladivostok, passengers of the "luxury" train visited Cape Egersheld, Eagle's Nest Hill, Russky Island, the S-56 Submarine Museum, the Arseniev Museum and the Vladivostok Fortress, and also walked along the main squares of the city, Svetlanskaya Street, Admiral Fokin Street and embankment of the Tsesarevich.

The passenger menu is represented by Russian cuisine, but upon arrival at each new point, we also take into account regional specifics. For example, in Kazan, emphasis was placed on Tatar cuisine. In Vladivostok, of course, tourists tried seafood. With great pleasure, foreigners eat dumplings, borscht, green cabbage soup. It may seem unusual, but our tourists are very fond of buckwheat,- said the representative of "RZD Tour".

Foreign tourists are accommodated in three carriages. The most expensive carriage, the VIP carriage, consists of five compartments with two berths. All compartments have armchairs, tables, LCD TVs, built-in wardrobes for clothes and luggage, air conditioners, washbasins, showers and toilets. Each compartment can accommodate a maximum of two people. In addition to the organization cultural program for passengers, they also think over the everyday details of the trip, so that they do not have to worry about where they will sleep, eat and what to do with luggage. On separate sections of the route, live performances were given by a pianist and a violinist.

The minimum cost of a ticket for "Imperial Russia" is 5150 euros, the maximum is 9805 euros (without additional payment for single occupancy). Until the end of 2016, another sightseeing tour on the "luxury train" will be completed. Six trips are planned for 2017.

An excerpt characterizing Alexander Nevsky (train)

- Mom, - Natasha shouted, - I'll give you a head to cut off, that it's him! I assure you. Stop, stop! she shouted to the coachman; but the coachman could not stop, because more carts and carriages drove out of Meshchanskaya, and they shouted at the Rostovs to move off and not detain others.
Indeed, although much further away than before, all the Rostovs saw Pierre or a man unusually resembling Pierre, in a coachman's caftan, walking down the street with his head bowed and a serious face, next to a little beardless old man who looked like a footman. This old man noticed a face sticking out at him from the carriage and, respectfully touching Pierre's elbow, said something to him, pointing to the carriage. For a long time Pierre could not understand what he was saying; so he seemed to be immersed in his own thoughts. Finally, when he understood him, he looked at the instructions and, recognizing Natasha, at the same second giving himself up to the first impression, quickly went to the carriage. But after walking ten paces, he, apparently remembering something, stopped.
Natasha's face, leaning out of the carriage, shone with a mocking caress.
- Pyotr Kirilych, go! After all, we found out! It is amazing! she screamed, holding out her hand to him. – How are you? Why are you like this?
Pierre took the outstretched hand and on the move (as the carriage continued to move) awkwardly kissed her.
- What's the matter with you, Count? asked the Countess in a surprised and sympathetic voice.
- What? What? What for? Don’t ask me,” said Pierre and looked back at Natasha, whose radiant, joyful look (he felt it without looking at her) showered him with its charm.
- What are you, or are you staying in Moscow? Pierre was silent.
- In Moscow? he said inquiringly. - Yes, in Moscow. Farewell.
“Ah, if I were a man, I would certainly stay with you. Ah, how good it is! Natasha said. - Mom, let me stay. Pierre looked absently at Natasha and wanted to say something, but the countess interrupted him:
“You were at the battle, did we hear?
“Yes, I was,” Pierre answered. “Tomorrow there will be another battle ...” he began, but Natasha interrupted him:
“But what about you, Count?” You don't look like yourself...
“Ah, don’t ask, don’t ask me, I don’t know anything myself. Tomorrow... No! Farewell, farewell,” he said, “terrible time!” - And, lagging behind the carriage, he moved to the sidewalk.
Natasha still leaned out of the window for a long time, beaming at him with an affectionate and slightly mocking, joyful smile.

Pierre, since his disappearance from home, had been living for the second day in the empty apartment of the late Bazdeev. Here's how it happened.
Waking up the next day after his return to Moscow and meeting with Count Rostopchin, Pierre for a long time could not understand where he was and what they wanted from him. When, among the names of other persons who were waiting for him in the waiting room, he was informed that a Frenchman was also waiting for him, who had brought a letter from Countess Elena Vasilyevna, he suddenly felt that feeling of confusion and hopelessness, which he was able to succumb to. It suddenly seemed to him that everything was now over, everything was mixed up, everything had collapsed, that there was neither right nor wrong, that there would be nothing ahead and that there was no way out of this situation. He, smiling unnaturally and muttering something, then sat down on the sofa in a helpless pose, then got up, approached the door and looked through the crack into the waiting room, then, waving his hands, I came back and took up the book. Another time, the butler came to report to Pierre that the Frenchman, who had brought a letter from the Countess, really wanted to see him even for a minute, and that they had come from the widow of I. A. Bazdeev to ask him to accept the books, since Ms. Bazdeeva herself had left for the village.

You get used to the standard red and gray colors of our trains. And any other color of wagons except green, which became familiar a long time ago, is perceived as something very beautiful and original.
This morning at the Yekaterinburg railway station I get out of the train and suddenly I see bright blue shiny cars. What is it? Is it really some kind of branded old-type train, when each Railway sought to have their own trains, distinguished by unusual colors.

I come closer. It turns out that this train is called "Alexander Nevsky". Cast metal letters, emblems. Although we were in a hurry, I could not pass by this.

Decorative lining on the door. Everything, though modest, but solid, tasteful.

And two or even three restaurant cars, behind the windows of which one can see carved chairs with high backs.

Where does such luxury come from? Use the Internet to find out more about this train. It turns out that he walked along the St. Petersburg-Moscow route for only about six months in 2009, and then was used periodically as a tourist one. He took tourists to Finland, to Mongolia. What is he doing here in the Urals? Whom, from where and where did you bring it? Passengers did not seem to be visible, but the attendants flickered outside the windows.
And this is the interior of one of the Alexander Nevsky dining cars. Photo taken from the Internet.

And when we were driving back that same day, we saw another luxury train. Trans-Siberian Express "Golden Eagle", which stood on the tracks near the station. He stood as if it was here, in Yekaterinburg, now his "home". This train is considered the most expensive and luxurious in Russia. He walked along the Trans-Siberian Railway under the steam locomotive P36. I photographed him from the train window.

Most likely, this is the result of stable demand for trips to Moscow on the part of Russians. And we have a lot of returning guests. Last year, the Azimut network updated the loyalty program, and this has borne fruit. The main reason for the sale of the business has not changed, and the value has dropped significantly - 10-11 years ago average price agencies was about 2-3 million rubles, since then they have become cheaper by 10-15% annually, and now, in fact, they are sold at the cost of furniture and office equipment. If the city offers different group tours and they can be selected at the trip planning stage, this may affect the occupancy of hotels, restaurants, souvenir sales, etc. This approach can surpass the effect of event tourism.“By arranging mass distribution of souvenirs, the exhibitors themselves attract non-target audience to the stands”

Exhibitions reflect the state of the market as a whole. The ruble is falling, there are fewer tourists. Our market is overheated, the number of agencies and tour operators is clearly excessive.
