From there, looking at the "Scarlet Sails" is the sweetest thing. But, unfortunately, it closes at 18:00 - period. Organization of an evening visit or night tour impossible. At least that's what we were told on the phone. Perhaps someone you know has other acquaintances who know someone who has other information. We do not want to hint at anything, but we are forced to state: the night watchmen (or what are they called? caretakers?) in the Hermitage can boast the most magnificent view of the Scarlet Sails.

The next quite pleasant place to watch could be a restaurant in the Palace of the Grand Duke Vladimir, on Palace Embankment, 26. But it is already fully booked for the time of Scarlet Sails. They say on the phone: there are no places for any money.

The House of Scientists of the Russian Academy of Sciences is also located at the same address, but it is also impossible to rent its premises in order to quietly observe what is happening in the Neva water area. Again, we are not hinting at anything, but becoming a scientist for one night would be the very thing that is needed.

But the place itself is open, and if you somehow manage to keep up with the others who want to watch the show, you can take a seat.

Not much less pretentious than the Hermitage and Petropavlovka, the Stock Exchange building on the V. O. arrow is also not an easy option. Technically, the Exchange is now empty, and there should only be watchmen there. But at least you can ask, of course.
