Employees of the Federal Drug Control Service in the Kurgan region seized a large batch of anabolic steroids containing potent substances. According to the department's press service, hazardous substances were sent in postal parcels from the Republic of Belarus.

The recipient, a 33-year-old resident of Kurgan, was detained. When the mail was opened, bottles of liquid were found, as well as packages of tablets that were anabolic steroids. As the examination showed, these drugs contain potent substances, the circulation of which is controlled on the territory of the Russian Federation.

Arzamas

The convict ordered a large batch of steroids via the Internet, which contain potent drugs. In total, the unlucky athlete ordered 18 blisters of various substances from a citizen of Belarus for a total of 12,250 rubles. The man was supposed to receive the parcel by mail.

However, police officers detained a resident of Arzamas at the exit from the post office.

Yakutsk

In Yakutsk, a 32-year-old amateur athlete is accused of smuggling anabolic steroids. This was reported by an employee of the Federal Drug Control Service of Russia for the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia).

At the beginning of April, a city resident was detained; during a personal search, a package was seized from him - a postal item from the Republic of Belarus. When opening the paper envelope, investigators found 10 blisters of 20 tablets each. According to experts, the tablets provided for the study contain about 20 grams of a potent substance.

A criminal case has been opened regarding the smuggling of potent substances in accordance with Part 1 of Article 226.1 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation.

Saint Petersburg

A resident of the Vasileostrovsky district of the Northern capital, who was accused under three articles of the Criminal Code on smuggling, theft and attempted sale of potent substances, was sentenced to a suspended sentence.

According to the press service of the St. Petersburg prosecutor's office, the prosecution proved that on September 4, 2014, the man ordered steroid drugs weighing 470.1 grams from Belarus via the Internet. He did this with the aim of further selling the substance in Russia.

They received a parcel containing a prohibited substance, but soon after this the man was detained by law enforcement officials during an operational operation.

Novosibirsk / Belokurikha

A 19-year-old NSTU student is accused of smuggling steroids. This was reported by the press service of the West Siberian Transport Prosecutor's Office.

According to investigators, in January 2015, a university student ordered anabolic steroids from the Republic of Belarus to his mother’s home address in the city of Belokurikha to engage in bodybuilding via the Internet, prosecutors say.

The examination showed that these drugs contain potent substances, the movement of which across the Russian state border is prohibited.

Birobidzhan

A criminal case regarding the illegal movement of potent substances across the border was opened by Birobidzhan customs upon the arrival of a parcel with anabolic steroids at the post office of the regional center. As it turned out, pharmacology, which is often used by athletes to increase speed and strength, as well as quickly build muscle mass, came from the Republic of Belarus to a Russian citizen. Control measures were carried out with the participation of the recipient.

Chita

A Chitin from Belarus was sent a parcel by mail containing 100 tablets of anabolic steroids containing the drug methandienone.

As the press service of the Chita customs reported, according to the examination, it was established that these tablets contain a potent substance - methandienone, with a total weight of 9.800 g.

“This is already the 9th criminal case opened in 2015 by the Chita customs on the fact of narcotic and potent drugs found in international mail,” the press service explained.

Moscow

The capital's drug police detained a Russian champion and two-time Moscow bodybuilding champion in the Veshnyaki district, suspected of smuggling and selling anabolic steroids.

As Elena Sosnina, head of the press service of the Moscow department of the state drug control department, said, the 27-year-old Muscovite did not officially work anywhere.
- Unofficially, he was listed as a fitness trainer at one of the sports centers. He was hiding from being drafted into the army. He lived in a rented apartment with his wife and young child. As soon as he turned 27, he came out of hiding. In the interests of the investigation, I will not name the name of the suspect,” Sosnina said.

According to her, during a search in his apartment, two parcels from Belarus were found, which contained over 10 types of potent substances. A criminal case was initiated under the Criminal Code article - smuggling of potent substances.
